“ITS BEEN LIKE TWO MONTHS.” Jaxon said to his father, "when am I going to see her again?"

"It's like the hundredth time you're asking me that," Hades mumbled, rolling his eyes dramatically, "my answer is always going to be the same. I can't just break her out of there, all right? She needs to figure her own way out. It's not my fault if your girl is slow."

"Fine, whatever." Jaxon muttered under his breath before walking right through the portal, making him appear back in his room at his own house which was more of a mansion. They were on holidays at the school so Jaxon thought to return home.

He hated that nobody remembered Hope but he knew that he'd find a witch and fix everything eventually— once Hope returns that is.

Jaxon stood on his balcony in the middle of the night with a cigarette in between his fingers. He brought it near his lips and took a long drag before he slowly exhaled, closing his eyes.

"Smoking is not good for health," a familiar voice spoke up behind him making him freeze in his actions, "has nobody ever taught you that?"

Turning around swiftly, he was met with the person he was longing to see.  "Hope," the name left his mouth on their own making her smile, "you're here."

"I am," she nodded, keeping the smile on her face. She was just as happy to see him as he was. "I missed you," she said earning a smile from him. "I missed you too."

There was a minute of silence between the two before Jaxon sped over to her, a hand going to the back of her neck before he smashed his lips on hers, having missed her taste. She wasted no time in kissing him back, both having missed each other just as much. Her hand went to the back of his hair and she softly pulled it making him groan in her mouth, "fuck, I've missed this."

"Me too," she mumbled, allowing her other hand to rest on his chest as she allowed their tongues to dance together with their eyes closed. He backed her against his bed and she fell on it when the back of her knee touched the edge. She couldn't help the chuckle that escaped her making him smile against her lips.

"I've missed this too," he said, withdrawing from the kiss as he began placing soft wet kisses along her jawline. Hope closed her eyes, having missed the feeling of his lips on her skin.

He slowly bit her soft spot and swirled his tongue around the area earning a moan from her. He smirked against her skin, "... And this. I've definitely missed this."

"How is everyone?" She couldn't help but ask. Jaxon paused his actions, raising his head to look at her as he shot her an 'are you serious right now' look. She rolled her eyes at him, "come on, I have been gone for three months. I need to know how they're doing."

"Well for starters, nobody remembers you." He went to sit beside her as she also pulled herself up in a sitting position on the edge of the bed. She nodded, "I know that."

"But they will once Josie go find your aunt who I think her name is Freya."

"Wait..." Hope furrowed her brows, "why is she going to find aunt Freya?"

"Because I might have been playing a little with her mind, giving her flashes of you every now and then." Jaxon's lips pulled up into a smirk, "it was fun, really. Now she's disturbed and well, she needs answers."

"You're evil," Hope stated, shaking her head helplessly, "by the way, this is a huge house you've got here. How come you barely live in it?"

"In case you haven't noticed, love, I live all alone here." Jaxon began, "it's pretty fucking boring."

"You know, I've never asked how come you're so..." She trailed off, searching her mind for the right word until she finally got it, "loaded. I mean, you're like seventeen. You don't work, all you do is hang around here and there yet you're so loaded like where the hell do you even get money from?"

"Well, my dad is also the god of wealth in case you didn't know." Jaxon said with amusement clear on his features, "I have unlimited money thanks to the motherfucker upstairs." Jaxon couldn't help but laugh at his own words, "Motherfucker. I'm sorry but this is so accurate."

‘Piss off.’ Hades's voice was filled with annoyance. ‘I gave you your girl and am yet to receive a thank you.’

‘You're sick if you think I'm going to thank you,’ Jaxon responded, ‘Now, shh. I’m catching up, can’t you se— never mind. Of course you can see. Stalker.’

"Stop zoning out on me," Hope said under her breath, "was it your dad?"

"Yeah," he sighed, "he was just sobbing and begging me to thank him."

‘Lies.’ The god of the underworld grumbled which was completely ignored by Jaxon.

"What do you say, we hang out a little first? Then we can concentrate on making the whole fucking world remember Hope Andrea Mikaelson."

Hope's lips twitched, "I have a feeling that our definitions of hanging out are completely different right now."

"You can bet it is."
