I shut my mouth and scowled. "Ano na naman trip mo, Les?"

She pouted at me and sniffed, wiping the non-existent tears off her face. "I hate you. I hate Luke. I hate Dad and Mom. I hate everyone who has a date today!" she ran off the stairs, I watched her as she reached her room. She paused, twisting her body to look at me. "Walang forever!" Les shrieked before going inside her room, slamming the door behind.

Napanganga ako sa kagagahan ng kapatid ko. She's only in a 'riot' because she'll be spending Valentines alone today but knowing Les, she was just probably acting. Katulad ko ay hindi naman talaga big deal kay Les ang araw na ito.

I sighed, shaking my head when my phone rang. I retrieved it from my bag and saw that the caller was Logan. The same guy that I'll be dating today.

"Hi." I dully said. This probably places second to my list of worse decisions ever, next to the dare.

"Nasa labas na ako ng gate niyo." nilingon ko ulit ang pinto ng kwarto ni Les sa taas. Magpapaalam na sana ako sa kanya kanina pero mukhang alam naman niya. It didn't help that she's pissed at me for saying yes to Logan. She never really liked him. I sighed.

"Alright, lalabas na ako." tipid na sagot ko bago ibinaba ang tawag.

Hindi ko alam ang pupuntahan namin. Sinubukan kong itanong but he said he wanted to keep it a mystery to me para may thrill naman para sa akin. I didn't push him for information. Madali naman akong kausap. Hindi ako namimilit.

Logan tried to converse with me the whole drive and I kept my answers short. At first, I tried to really talk to him. Tinanong ko pa nga sa kanya kung bakit siya may driver's license, which is a stupid question. Logan's family was rich enough to have connections. I also tried throwing his questions back at him but I stopped trying half way. I was never really good at conversing. Sinabi ko naman sa kanya iyon. He just said he doesn't mind doing all the talking.

"So, Ilan na ang naging boyfriend mo?" casual na tanong ni Logan. I paused, thinking if it'd be okay to share this kind of information to him.

My phone pinged for a message. I gladly looked away from Logan and grabbed my phone, thankful for the diversion.

Charlotte:

HERE AT OUR MEETING PLACE GUYS, ANG HOT NI LUKE

My jaws clenched. I could feel my mood immediately switching into something that no one wants to witness me in. I shut my eyes tightly, deeply breathing in and out to calm myself.

"Everything okay?" I heard Logan ask from the driver's seat. That made me open my eyes and look at Logan with a cool expression.

"Of course." huminga ulit ako ng malalim. "Malayo pa ba tayo?"

"Just a few minutes more." Logan apologetically smiled at me and I nodded.

Tumunog ulit ang phone ko. It was my message tone. Malakas ang kutob ko na si Charlotte lang iyon. Sinabihan ko na wag pansinin pero hindi ko matiis. I wanted to know what's happening.

Charlotte:

HMM MANUNUOD DAW KAMI MOVIE AND THEN EAT... AND YOU GUYS KNOW WHAT'S NEXT

"You're frowning again. Sino ba ang nagte-text sa'yo?" tanong ni Logan. Tinanggal ko ang simangot sa mukha ko bago inangat ang mga mata mula sa screen ng phone.
