Barry thinks for a moment; Patty notices this.
"Go after her..." Patty says wisely.
"But.. you.. don't have a date." Barry says sweetly.
"Oh come on!!" Patty says sturnly.
"Barry Allen, when these braces come out all the boys will date me." Patty laughs.
"Now go!" Patty pushes him towards the double doors.
He pushes them open, his heart races and beats, his palms start to sweat. He see's a girl by the lockers, that same blue sparkling dress. It's Caitlin. Barry walks over to her.
Caitlin has her head burried in her dress. She sobs gently and softly.
She notices someone is hovering over.
"Go away Julian." she shouts.
"It's.. not Julian." Barry says in a cute voice.
"Barr?" Caitlin looks up at Barry with smuged makeup.
"yeah?" Barry smiles at Caitlin.
Caitlin wipes away her tears and smudges a bit more of her makeup.
"Can I sit?" Barry asks.
Caitlin nods and pats the floor where there is space.
Barry sits down next to an upset Caitlin he looks at her with his bright green eyes.
Caitlin stares back into his eyes; for a moment she feels like they were back in the park or at the Allen's house watching films.
Barry wraps an arm around her shoulder.
"Is he as bad as of a jerk then me?" Barry smiles at Caitlin.
"Real smooth..." Caitlin slightly smiles.
"Even with your makeup smudged you look beautiful." Barry compliments her.
Caitlin bites her lip; she thought with Julian, she was happy, but he was just making her think that; she deserved better. She deserved someone like Barry who said she looked beautiful. At that moment she realised things had to change. But the timing was all wrong.
Caitlin pulls away Barry's arm.
Barry looks at her sad. But Caitlin rests her hand on Barry's chin.
Until... Julian walks through the double doors. He looks around at the empty hallways and finds Caitlin resting her hand on Barry's chin. He walks closer with his fist clenched.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?" Julian shouts at Caitlin.
"Well.. I thought I would try and kiss Barry to make you jealous! You hit on girls." Caitlin looks back at him sturnly.
Barry looks at them both stunned.
"I better..." Barry rushes off his feet
"Go..." Julian gives him a slight nudge.
"That's it.." Barry pushes him.
The two get into a fight.
"STOP IT RIGHT NOW!" Caitlin shouts.
"Cait." Barry get's punched in the face and falls to the ground.
"RIGHT... JULIAN.. WE ARE DONE. FOR REAL THIS TIME." Caitlin rushes over to Barry's side.
"That's where your loyalites lied.." Julian walks out the school.
"Barr.. stay with me.." Caitlin checks his pluse.
No breath. No sign of life.
"SOMEONE HELP..." Caitlin cries.
She hears teachers coming down the corridor due to them montoring the other halls. The teachers all come around the corner.
"Someone call an ambulance." one of the teachers rushes over.
