Y/N's POV
We left the Avengers to fight by themselves as we flew to find the facility in which the other Winter Soldiers were being kept. We hadn't said a word since we left and the silence quickly became awkward.
"What's gonna happen to your friends ?" Bucky finally asked.
Steve sighed.
"Whatever it is, I'll deal with it"
"I don't know if we're worth all of this Steve, especially me" Bucky said.
"What you guys did all those years, it wasn't you. You didn't have a choice"
"I know. But we still did it"
I didn't really want to talk about our past, it was a sensitive subject for me. Even after our two years without Hydra, the guilt and pain never stopped.
Steve couldn't quite answer, so he decided to once again, stay silent.

We made it to our destination. As we landed and got ready for battle, Steve decided to start a meaningless conversation.
"Remember that time we had to ride back from Rockaway Beach in the back of a freezer truck ?"
"Was that the time we used our train money to buy hot dogs ?" Bucky said.
"I told you guys not to spend the money" I added with a small smile.
We got out of the Quinjet, and made our way inside the facility.
"He can't have been here more than a few hours" Steve said, trying to be reassuring.
"That's long enough to wake them up" I explained.
We got in an elevator, and made it to the basement. We walked slowly, in case one of the soldiers were to walk by. Surprisingly, there were no one. It was as if they weren't awake yet.
Suddenly we heard a door opening. Steve used his shield to protect us, while Bucky and I pointed our guns in the direction of the noise.
On the other side of the door, was none other than Howard's son. Tony Stark, the Iron Man.
Steve lowered his shield, while Bucky and I decided not to move. Our weapons were still aimed at Stark.
Stark removed his helmet to talk to us.
"You seem a little defensive" He said.
"It's been a long day" Steve answered back.
"At ease, soldiers. I'm not currently after you" Tony said, trying to calm us down.
"Then why are you here ?" Asked Steve.
"Could be your story's not so crazy, maybe. Ross has no idea I'm here. I'd like to keep it that way. Otherwise I gotta arrest myself"
"That sounds like a lot of paper work" Steve said. "It's good to see you Tony"
"You too cap" Tony answered "Hey, Cap's friends, you're killing me. There's a truce. You can drop your weapons"
Steve gave us a sign to lower our guns.
We all walked silently to the main room.
"I got heat signatures" Tony stated
"How many ?"
"One"
As the room's lights finally opened, letting us look at our surroundings, we soon realized that something was wrong.
