Mizuki pov.
We meet at gym 3.

The team groups up and we figure out what we need to work on.

Then, we go right into practice.

Some of us do some combos. Asahi works on his overhead serve, while Nishinoya practices his setting move.

Most of the team was sitting on the side. I grab a volleyball and walk over to Kageyama.

"Wanna practice the attacks?" I hold the ball out to him.

Kageyama nods.

"Wanna do higher first or faster?" I ask.

"...higher. We can make it faster later." He replies.

"Okay. Let's slow down the sets for now."

Kageyama nods again and we get into position.

I toss the ball to him and I run up to the net.

Higher.

I swing my arms back to gain momentum. Then, I spring into the air.

The ball comes to me, higher that the usual set. But I just touch it.

My fingertips hit the ball, and it spins just over the net.

I land and smile. "Let's go for that!"

We try again. And again. And again.

The highest I got was when my whole finger could touch it. But not my palm.

"Again!" I jog back to my spot.

I toss the ball to Kageyama again, and I run up to the net.

I jump up and the ball it set to me.

I hit the ball, but only my finger hit it.

The ball spins and hits the top of the net. Then, it rolls to the other side.

I fall, but I end up losing balance.

"WoAHH!" I fall backwards. I land flat on my back.

"Owwww" I mumble, out of breath.

Kageyama's face appears above mine. He tilts his head.

"I'm good." I reply. "Let's do another one."

I sit up. Kageyama shakes his head.

"You're worn out." He says. "If you keep going, you won't improve at all. And you might hurt yourself."

"...fine." I mutter.

"Everyone, gather around!" Daichi calls.

Kageyama helps me up and we walk over.

"I think this will be it for practice today." He says. "We go right to bed after this. But first,"

He looks at me. "What'd you think of the other teams?"

"Oh, uh" I think to myself.

I recite most of the things I found out about the newer teams. Once I finish, I look up and the team looks shocked.

"Was I going for too long?" I ask.

"That was a lot..." Asahi comments.

"Anyways, we know a little about them. Or at least, possible facts." Daichi adds.
