once they made it they all got out sitting in their seats while kobe had to stand next to the stage since he was a teacher and the parents sat in seats in the back the ceremony started after a few minutes and an hour or so went back until they called everyone's name then once they finished they called y/n up to give her high school speech since she was the valedictorian

Y: ok i could give y'all the same old we got this we're gonna do great in the world but i'm not honestly i can't because i'm in the same shoes as you guys i have no idea where the world is gonna take us maybe some of us will go down the same paths maybe some of us won't but we all have one huge thing in common we pushed for twelve years straight to be standing where we are today and we never gave up i'm proud of us some of us know people who didn't make it or just didn't want to make it but we did and that's all that matter how facing the real world is gonna be a challenge we got a small taste of that last year when we were all out getting jobs and trying to keep our grades up some of us probably been doing it for our whole life there's one topic every high schooler has to face sooner or later and most of us hate talking about it but it's called love...ugh it sucks even hearing the word so we're gonna say really like there's gonna be a time in our lives where we really like someone and we're gonna be too scared to pursue them but if high school taught me one thing that's to never be too scared to do something life is too short to base it off of a bunch of what ifs we need to live life by i will instead of i might so when you find someone you love or really like say i will as in i will give my all i will treat them like they should be treated and i will do the best i can to keep them happy but don't forget people are gonna come and go in and out of your life and you gotta let them without being too scared so i guess that brings me to the end of my speech where i give you all the same basic ending so beautiful class and twenty twenty one lets give this world a run for their money we out

everyone stood up clapping and yelling then they moved their tassel on their caps to the other side and after the principal gave a speech they threw them up yelling then everyone started doing a bunch of random things and when they asked the teachers to speak they all did then when it was kobes turn he gave his speech but before he left he called y/ns name so she looked up at him

Kobe: y/n y/l/n gave an amazing speech and one part she said when you really like someone you need to pursue them so sorry for my language but i wanna say fuck this job and can't wait to see what life has in store for me and my beautiful baby y/n

some people clapped and some yelled and some stood looking shocked at what kobe said but once he finished he walked to y/n hugging her and she hugged him back rocking side to side then he kissed her and she kissed him back then when kobe pulled away he looked at her smiling

Kobe: i really like you
Y: i really like you too

y/n and kobe laughed then they held hands walking around and talking and later they all went to her house having her graduation party and they danced and talked for hours having a good time until it ended and kobe and y/n went upstairs getting undressed and getting in the shower after they showered and got dressed into their pajamas y/n was laying on the bed with her feet on the cover just on her phone texting people then kobe came in front of her getting on his hand and knees and inching in front of her

Y: kobe what are you do-

y/n was cut off when kobe used his legs to flip her over so she was on her stomach and he was right behind her butt hitting it over and over again while she laughed trying to reach behind her to move his hands but when that didn't work she put her legs under her so then her butt was in kobes face and he sat back with his hands beside him just looking and when she finally got up he pushed her legs from under her making her fall on his lap

Y: got damn do some one more time and imma punch you
Kobe: no you won't because you really like me
Y: yes of course i really like you baby
Kobe: so glad this secret shit is over with
Y: me and you both
Kobe: turn around so i can look at you
Y: why
Kobe: girl turn around

y/n laughed then turned around on kobes lap looking at him and he sat up grabbing her hand and playing with her fingers then he started messing with just her ring finger

Y: what are you doing
Kobe: none just thinking
Y: thinking about what
Kobe: the future
Y: alright well let's talk about it what are your hopes for the future
Kobe: my hopes hmm that's a good question i guess my hopes it to still be with you even seventy years from now and i want at least four kids first born son will be named dior always been a dream of mine i want to go on a bunch of trips just loving every moment like it's our last i also want to always have you in my life even if it's just as friends because anything is better than being without you and i want to be married...to you and i want us to forever be happy together without anyone messing that up
