When you wake up you wake up in the ambulance by yourself with a paramedic

You: Where's Arizona? Is she ok? Why isnt she here?

Paramedic: listen she has head injuries and she's probably not going to make it but you need to calm down and stop moving your neck and you need to breathe

You: she what?? In shock, you lay as still as possible and you dont say anything you lay there for about ten minutes when it finally hits you

Arizona is going to die you start to tremble arizon-aa is going to d-ie your eyes fill with tears and they start to flow down your face

Paramedic: hey no no you cant cry youre going to move your neck and you cant do that unless you want to be paralyzed for the rest of your life...

You: IM SORRY THAT MY EX GIRLFRIEND JUST KILLED THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, MY FIANCEE! AND I CANT EVEN CRY?? I'M NOT HEARTLESS I LOVE HER AND I RISKED MY LIFE OUT THERE FOR HER TODAY AND ALL FOR NOTHING SHE IS JUST GOING TO DIE AND NOW I HAVE TO SIT IN THE HOSPITAL WAITING FOR MY HEMORRHAGE OR MY CONCUSSION TO HEAL SO NO I'M NOT GOING TO STOP CRYING!

With all the anger that you expressed to the paramedic had made you dizzy and nauseous at the same time before you pass out again

This time you wake up in the ICU when Derek walks in

Derek: y/n! You're awake, great! So you had a class 2 brain hemorrhage but we caught it in time so youre going to be fine!

You look away from him and sarcastically say great

Derek: why arent you excited that we fixed your brain?

you: Yeah but for what the whole reason I went in there was to go save Arizona and now what I went in there for nothing... You look down at your hand where is my ring? Derek, I need that ring that is like the only thing I have left from her

Derek: What do you mean left?

You: the paramedic told me that she had severe head injuries and that she was going to die I just assume that she already died cause it looks like the next day

Derek: Arizona didnt die y/n...

You: oh so is she in a coma where I get to watch her slowly dying body...

Derek: y/n Arizona-

Arizona rolls around from the corner of your doorway in a wheelchair is right here..

Her face lights up when she sees you awake and tears roll down her cheek

You look at Arizona and pinch yourself

She looks confused*

Arizona: why are you pinching yourself? *she laughs*

You: because the paramedic said that- that- you were practically dead... Your face lights up and you try to get out of bed to give her a hug

Derek: Woah hey- no no you cant do that shes not even technically supposed to be here I had to pull some strings

You: thank you, Derek...

Derek: of course... Now I have some other patients to go see so dont do anything stupid!

Arizona: got it!

She rolls over to your bedside and reaches for your hand

Arizona: thank god your ok y/n I was so scared I thought I was going to lose you... thank you for being ok

You: are you kidding, thank you for being alive they quite literally told me that you were dying and that I wasnt going to see you

Arizona: i would never leave you y/n i promise but if you didnt come to save me when you did she would have killed me.

And when you first told me that she was crazy I thought that you were over exaggerating and that night when we saw her in the bar and you stopped me from going up to her you probably saved my life that night as well that night I couldnt help but think that we were going to see your exs everywhere and it was going to be something that was a normal and I didnt know you very well so I didnt know what to do about us and when I got to know you better I realized that living with that would be the easiest thing as long as I got to be with you... I cant explain how unbelievably grateful I am for you

You: how long were you down there before I got there?

Arizona: Im not sure umm I woke up when you were on the phone with her but I dont know how she even managed to take me into her basement without me waking up I mean there had to have been some drugs involved or something but they did a screening on me before they took me into surgery and they didnt find anything...

You: what happened before I got there? I mean I heard you scream when she got mad...

And I could tell you were in pain and it hurt me what did she do to you?

Arizona: she did the same thing that she did to you.. When you were with her I get it now those scars I never mentioned them because I didnt know I always thought it was you. And then when Jackson was done giving me stitches they looked almost the same.. So I connected the two it wasnt you, right?

You: oh god Im so sorry.. Arizona I never meant for you to be pulled into this I thought that after I dumped her she wouldnt do anything else to hurt me

Arizona: it wasn't you right?

You: oh god no no it wasn't me it was all her even the ones umm the ones on my arms people always thought I was crazy and making things up because she was really good at manipulating people and making it seem like I was depressed because I never looked happy with her so people believed her... And never me I was just the suicidal girl who wanted attention

Arizona: I believe you y/n.. it took me a first hand experience to figure it out but I believe you... god y/n and you were with her for 2 years i was there for 2h and I almost died i cant believe you made it out of that Im so proud of you.. *she goes to get up out of her wheelchair to kiss you*

You: I wouldnt do that your open your stitches up again..

Arizona: right..

*You lean out of your bed and kiss her when Derek walks in*

Derek: I thought I said not to do anything stupid...

Arizona laughs*

You: Derek? Can you put me in a shared room but with Arizona, please?

Derek: of course...
