♣ Day 8 - Most Epic Scene Ever ♣
Hmm . . . this is hard, since there's a LOT of epic scenes in anime. How can I list them all?
♣Attack on Titan - The Plugging of Trost with Titan Eren
I bet you were expecting the fight with the female titan or the fight with the female titan in Wall Sina, or possibly more "epic" scenes.
This scene isn't as flashy or bloody or violent as other scenes in AoT, but it's definitely the most powerful.
Because guess what? A lot of people die. But it isn't a desperate, failure-type moment, like with Levi's SOS deaths. It doesn't make you cry in sadness. It makes the hairs on your skin rise, and it makes you wonder: is this what victory, true victory feel in the Attack on Titan world?
Because in this scene, humanity proves it candefeat the titans, for the first time. Sure, a lot of people die, but it's a victory. People didn't give up—and because of this, humanity won.
It's so beautiful, and when Armin asked,"Why do you want to explore the outside world?" To Eren, and he responded,"Because I was born in it!" It makes you see Eren as a character in a new light.
The soundtrack was also excellent, probably my favorite in the series ^^;
♣Sword Art Online - The Battle of the Blue-Eyed Demon
When watching this scene, you get goose bumps because this an episode with a lot of death, and hopelessness. Aincrad's largest army is being defeated by a gruesome, powerful monster, and Kirito has to question his true self if he's ready to stand up for his friends.
The battle is intense, and I love the animation, music, and just pure, raw emotion put into this scene. It's one of my favorites from the manga, with a lot of action and drama. You see a dangerous, fierce side of Kirito who's willing to die to slay this beast, end the terror, and save his friends the monster.
I really like the special skill Kirito uses, along with the amazing sword Lisabeth crafted to help him.
In summary, it's freaking cool.
