Chapter 36

Mina POV

I waking up by the sun hitting my face. I can feel my head heavy due crying hard last night. But, the weird thing I was in my bed. I remember clearly I was sleeping at the coach waiting Chaeyoung coming back. I quickly get up and run to his room. But, he's not here. I went to downstair seeing a breakfast already at the table. Then, I hear someone walk from the kitchen. I turn to look but frustrated because its was aunty sunny.

"Oo, Mina yah. You're already wake up. Come and having breakfast. Chaeyoung prepare this and went to office." She said.

Hearing she said make me happy yet sad. Happy he still remember making a breakfast for me. Sad because what have I done to him and he is not here. I really wanted to see him. So, I get ready and eat the breakfast. My eyes teary up every time I taste the food and remembering last night.

I arrived at office and I straight go to his office. But, just my luck he's not there. Nayeon also didn't come yet. I go to my office greeting by usual scent. Its make me feel a bit relieved from the stress after sneeze the scent. A few moments later, my tears fall without me realising it.

"Miss mina. Are you okay? It there something wrong?" Yuna asked me worried.

My tears keep falling. I crying hard while Yuna walk toward me and hug me. Then, I stopped crying and thanked Yuna.

"You welcome miss. I glad you're okay. Oh yaa, your dad calling you. He wants meet you at his office now. If you don't okay. I can tell him." Yuna said.

"No. I will go there. Thank you again." I said and went to dad office.

"Sweetie. What's up with that face? Are you okay?" Dad asked.

"I'm okay. Just a headache. Why do you want to see me?" I asked.

"Oh, Chaeyoung is taking a leave for two weeks. He say there is something come with his family. So, that why I'm calling you. Do you want take a leave too? Maybe you want to go with him? And how's your anniversary last night. He really put his effort for last night. He even taking a leave yesterday to make it perfect. He said you once say want to celebrate something on the yatch. That why he decide to celebrate there. How romantic he is to think dinner at the yatch. That's why we having a lunch with you. Just don't want to interrupt you guy." Dad said.

"Hmm. Can I take a leave too dad?" I asked.

"Of cause sweetie. That's why I'm calling you. You can take a leave. I will handle your work here." Dad said.

I excuse myself and go to my office. Jeongyeon already there waiting for me.

"Hey baby. Finally I can be with you." He said lean in toward me but I dodge.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked.

"Oh come on baby. Who do you think give him the picture? I already told Chaeyoung everything about us. But, you know what? All this time he already known about us. He just pretending doesn't know because he said he still having hope you will fall for him. Hahha. What a stupid. He think you will choose him over me. Finally, we won baby. He said he will let you go." Jeongyeon said.

"Why did you do that? Why you didn't ask or tell me before doing this?" I asked.

"What? I already told you hundred times to tell him. But you always give an excuse. I can't take it anymore baby. I don't want to lose you. I hate seeing you and he being together. I don't want you to fall in love with him. You're mine Mina. Mine!!" He yelled at me.

"No. I'm not yours. Not him. I own myself. I'm sorry Jeongyeon. Hearing what he said make me think I already fall for him. I'm sorry." I said to him.

I can see his face changes. He walk slowly to me. He hold my hand.

"But baby. We won. He already said he want to let you go. He give you back to me. We finally back again baby. You didn't fall for him. You just confuse baby. You love me right? You're mine. Mine baby." He hold my hand tight and crying.

"I'm sorry. After what he said last night. I realise my feeling. After he left my alone last night I realise how important he to me. I can't lose him. I love Chaeyoung. I thought all this time my feeling toward him just a friend. But, now I realise I love him more than just a friend. I love him Jeongyeon." I said crying to him.

"But baby. You promised to me. Am I not important to you anymore? Don't you love me anymore? Why baby? Why? Am I not enough for you Mina? How could you Mina?" He mumbled while crying to me.

"I'm sorry Jeongyeon. I really sorry." Only that I can said to him.

Yes, I realise how I love Chaeyoung after he said. Right after he turn his back to me. I love him but I just being ego, idiot and guilty. That's why I ignore all my feeling to him. Ego because I'm the one set the condition of the contract but I broke it. Idiot because I didn't realise his feeling and my feeling soon. Idiot because I push away my feeling. Idiot because being ego. Guilty for Jengyeon. I already promise to him but I broke it. Guilty for make a false hope toward Jeongyeon. But now, I can't lose Chaeyoung. I love him so much. I hurt me seeing he turn his back to me.

"I always love you Mina. Couldn't you see that? What he have that I don't? I know you longer that he. You know me first. Why must him Mina? Why must Chaeyoung?" He asked crying.

"I'm sorry. I just can't stop my feeling. I can't stop me. I'm sorry." I said.

"No. You can just you choose not to. You're mine Mina. And always being that. Remember. If I can get you, no one can get you. I will make sure of it. Remember that Mina." He said coldly to me and went out from the office.

I crying hard at the couch. I never seeing Jeongyeon like that. I'm scared I'm the one who turn him being like that. But, I can't give him hope anymore. And I can't lose Chaeyoung. I search my phone and call him. But, he didn't answer it. So, I decide to call Mr.Son.

"Hello Mr.Son. Its Mina. Can I ask you something?" I said.

"Hello Mina. Yes, what it is sweetie?" He asked.

"Did Chaeyoung tell you what happen to his family? He take a leave saying there is family problem. As you know, I never see his family. He also never talk about his family. I'm just worried." I mumbled.

"Eh? I didn't know his family has a problem. He family are close to my family. If there something happen I the first person should know it. What going on Mina?" He asked like he know something happen between us.

"Oh. Its nothing. Its okay Mr.Son. Thank you." I just hang up after saying that scared him will asked more.

"Where are you Chaeyoung?" I asked myself.

Then, Yuna knock the door.

"Miss, Miss Nayeon asked me to give it to you. She say you should thanks her later and ask you to hurry up." Yuna mumbled and give a ticket to me.

There's the ticket to Lugano. I tilt my head confuse. Then, its hit me. My eyes widen remember. That's it. He's going to Switzerland. I rushed went home and pack my bag. I have a flight to catch up.

Flashback

"I will coming back again. This place will always remind me of you. Remind me how we become a friend. Remind me of hope. So, I decide this place we be my escape. So, you have to choose other place." Chaeyoung said laughing.

"No its not. This will be our escape." I said looking at him.

That was the time I realise my feeling toward him. But, I still denying. And I regret it. No matter what happen, I will tell Chaeyoung my feeling. Son Chaeyoung wait for me. I'm coming.
