Chapter 16

No one POV

After Chaeyoung check out, he went to Mina. They being awkward to each other.

"Hmm. Do you have you breakfast? If yes, we can going now." Chaeyoung ask Mina to get rid the awkward between them.

"I already take a breakfast. You don't want to eat first before starting the journey?" Mina replied.

"Its okay. If we going now, we can reach the location before lunch. We can having lunch there. But, Mina. I..I'm sorry for what happen early." Chaeyoung said.

"Its okay Chaeyoung. That's just an accident. But, are you not hungry? Breakfast is important to start the day. As you say, breakfast will bring an energy to our body." Mina worriedly said.

"Nah, I can manage. So, shall we start our little escape?"  Chaeyoung cheerful said.

Mina just smile to Chaeyoung cheerful act and nodded. They will going to Montreux. Chaeyoung rent a car because he wants spend time with Mina without anyone else. This is their little escape. He wants to create a lot of memories with Mina. The driving take time about 1 hour and 15 minute from Bern. Montreux is a sleepy small town near Geneva. Montreux also known as the Swiss Riviera. Its popular for short summers, warmer temperature throughout the year.

Chaeyoung POV

Finally, we arrived at Montreux. First thing I do is, I look for a place to eat. I go to Caveau des Vignerons. I once search the best place to eat when I planning when I came here. This restaurant is off-the-beaten-track but has traditional Swiss food. Their expect fare along the line of raclette, fondue and rosti. The interiors are cosy and welcoming. I park the car and turn to Mina. She sleep soundly. She look so calm. I wake her up telling we already arrive. She apologise to me because she fell asleep.

"Its okay princess. I know you tired. Let's go eat. I know you're hungry. I hear you stomach make a noise from here." I joked.

She slap my arm slightly and pout. How cute she can be? Argh. Then we, come out and enter the restaurant. She really like the food. After finish, we decide to go Chateau de Chillon first. Mina so excited to go there.

"This is so cool. I actually have a postcard of this. I ever read the poem The Prisoner of Chillon penned by Lord Byron." Mina said excited.

"Yeah, I know the poem. This place is the must place to visit if come to Montreux." I said.

We tour around and take a picture. Mina busy taking her picture. I just look a her smiling. She really look so happy and excited. I took hee picture secretly. Next destination, we go to Chocolate factory and take a ride on the famous Swiss Chocolate Train. What? Everyone loves chocolate.

Then, we go to Tea Room de la Baye. This charming little tea room located at old town. Mina as usual order her jasmine green tea as I order americano with some pastry. We enjoy our evening with calm. Then we decide to take off for today. We drive to our campsite at Camping des Horizons Bleus. Mina surprised because she don't know I plan to stay here for three day. She really excited because she really like adventures and nature.

Mina POV

I'm speechless when Chaeyoung say wants to stay at campsite. I really wants to do that. As usual, Chaeyoung always surprised me. I know about Camping des Horizons Bleus. Like I say, Switzerland is my dream place to visit. So, this campsite are one of my list. Who don't wants to woke up and being welcoming with stunning view of Lake Geneva. Besides, this campsite offer a luxurious facilities.

"Hmm. So? Are you okay with staying here for three days? If you not okay, we can check up in hotel." Chaeyoung said.

"No no no. Its okay. I like it. No. I love it. Thank you. Another check list." I excited said.

Then, we take a shower and ready to sleep. I feel so tired to go out for dinner. Good thing, Chaeyoung have buy a lot of pastry. He said maybe I too tired to go out if we already back to campsite. So, he buy the pastry for a standby in case I hungry. He always know me well.

Next day, we take a cable car up and then ride the Alpine Coaster, a bus that take us right to Glacier 3000. This bring us to the world's first suspension bridge. When we riding the cable car and alpine coaster I can feel my blood stop running. I held my hand until pale. I really don't like and scared of high places.

"Hey, are you okay? Why your face so pale? Are you sick?" Chaeyoung asked worried.

"Hmm.. n.... noo. I'm.... scared. I don't... don't... like high places." I stuttered.

"Oh, why don't you tell me. If shouldn't bring you here. Hmm, maybe I?" Chaeyoung ask if he can hug me.

I didn't replied and hug him. Tight. I put my head at his chest. I can hear his heart beat. Weird, because I feel calm after hearing his heart beats. His cares my back up and down. He is so warm. He really calmed me down. Then we arrive, he let go the hug and the warm I felt slowly replace by cold. I miss his warm.

"Hm. Do want to walk the suspension bridge?" He asked.

"I don't know. I'm scared but if I don't do it, its a waste. Hmm. I think I will go." I replied not sure.

"Don't worry okay. If you don't want we can go and tour another place. But if you want, I will hold and be there right beside you. I will follow whatever your choice." He smiling showing his dimple. Argh, he's so cute.

Then, we go for walk. As his promise, he hold my hand and walk besides me. Sometimes, he sides hug me to encourage me. I like it when he doing this to me. I feel safe and warm. After a walk, we go to tour. Then, Chaeyoung reward me with some delicious Swiss delicacies. I really enjoying the food. Its make me feel on top of the world, probably because I am.

Then, we head to the nearby Chapin's World. This is the only museum in the world displaying the illustrious film career of Charlie Chaplin. It is only 15 minutes away from our campsite, so the perfect end to our day 2 in Montreux.

Last day in Montreux, Chaeyoung said we should try canoeing at lake Geneva. After that, we can swimming. I'm excited when hearing that. Honestly, I don't know how to canoeing. Chaeyoung already paid for lesson. We have so much fun in Lake Geneva.

Last activity I want to do in Montreux just walk along the gorgeous lake. What? I'm a hopeless romantic person. I really do like nature. So, by just walk along nature with you lover is romantic. But, I don't know Chaeyoung plan after this.

"Mina, are you okay if we go walk around Vevey town? Actually I plan to take a boat tour. But, unfortunately we ran out of time. I'm sorry. We can go walk from Lake Promenade to Vevey town. If you don't wants, we can drive or do another activity." Chaeyoung face seem worried.

I smile to him. "I would love to. Let's go. I can wait to enjoy the view." I said and grab his arm.

Chaeyoung seem shocked I grab his arm, but manage to smile showing his dimple. My next action, again make him and myself shocked. I poke his dimple.

"Hmm. Sorry. I can't stand looking at your dimples. I really want to poke your dimple. Sorry." I said look down and pout.

He just chuckle. "Then, I give you the honour to touch it whenever you want." He said and showing his dimple.

We just smile to each other and walk. There is a long walk I have done. But its a beautiful. So, I'm not regret. There is a long, flower-bordered lake promenade which links neighbouring to Vevey town. As we walk, I feel tired. Chaeyoung always asking if I'm okay or not. He also offer to carry me. Its really sweet of him. I reject and I just take his hand and hold it. Our hand perfectly like its make for each other. He look at our hand and raised his eyebrow.

"Just hold my hand. I'm afraid I might fall because of the tiredness." I said and roll my eyes.

"Are you okay? I can carry you at the back if you're tired. Its just another 5 minute walk." He worried.

"No, just hold my hand." I smiling and drag him to continue our walk.

He keep look at our hand and smile. I wonder want he's thinking. I just walk and tighter the hand hold. He also tighter the hold. Whenever he doing that, I feel safe. I just smile. It is indeed a romantic walk I dream of.
