Peter stopped in front of us, looking us up and down. "And where we you two?" he asked walking backwards slowly. "No one has seen either of you two the entire day. You skipped classes?"
Laughing Remus sat down at the table. "I wanted to cheer Stars up, so I forced her to ditch classes, with me" he put his bag down, next to me as I sat down.
"By ditching?" Sirius asked chuckling. He sat down across us, looking at my smile.
"How are you Lucy?" he asked awkwardly. Peter sat down next to him, looking at me for an answer.
"I'm good" I smiled. I lied. I knew I wasn't good. I still hurt, badly. Remus just helped me forget everything.
"Lucy?" someone asked behind me.
The two boys in front of us looked up, sighing. Remus and I turned around at the same time, looking at James Potter. Immediately Remus stood up, standing in front of me.
"Not now Prongs" he said, glaring at James.
"It's okay Moony" I lightly touched his arm. He turned around, moving out the way. I stood up, facing James.
"What do you want James?" I asked crossing my arms.
"Look, I know I fucked up. I want to apologize. I'm really, really sorry" he looked down at me, eyes full of regret. I could see he was sorry, he regretted what he had done. But I knew I could never unhear or undo the situation.
He slowly put his hand on my cheek, stroking it lightly.
"You did, and you lost me" I sighed, looking up at him. I managed to keep my tears back, by taking deep breaths.
"No, please" he mumbled, his face turning sadder and sadder.
"You fucked up James, and you can't undo that" my words hurt me, but I had to get them out. "I'm sorry James" I looked up at his teary eyes. "I don't know what went over you, and I also don't want to know. But I'll never be able to forget about whatever you and Lily did. I'm sorry"
A few tears escaped his eyes. "Lucy" he sniffled. "Please don't do this"
"I am doing this James" I said, slowly taking his hand off of my cheek.
"No"
"I'm sorry, but I can't date you any longer" I took a deep breath.
"Stars?" Remus touched my arm lightly.
I looked up at Remus, giving a small fake smile. "I'm ganna go" I whispered softly.
"Lucy, p-please" James looked down at my heart broken eyes. "You can't do this to me" his lips started crumbling, taking deep breaths.
"She just did" Remus glared, pulling me away. He pulled me out of the Hall, leaving James standing there, alone.
Tears started falling over my cheeks, dripping on my clothes. I fell against a wall outside the Great Hall, curling up into a ball, bursting into tears. Remus sat down next to me, holding me tightly.
"I know, I know" he said comforting me. His arms wrapped around me, keeping me warm. "It's okay Stars. It's okay"
