I was in lawns working on my laptop when mom called me . I rushed inside the house to see what happened to Anat suddenly . As I stepped in to leaving room , I saw all guests surrounding Anat. She was laying unconscious on the floor. Mom and Maasi were trying there best to get her back to consiousness but she still dint make a move.

I rushed towards her and I could feel the whole crowd looking at me .
I lifted her head in my hand as I said " Anat wake up " .

My heart felt heavy as if a huge rock had been placed on it. I felt numb along with Anat. I felt uncounsious with full consiousness.

I lifted her in bridal style and took her to our room . Mom told me that she sent Yasir to bring a doctor home for Anat's check up . I laid Anat on bed and took a seat beside her . I was still thinking what is happened to her ,when I noticed some aunties entering our room with mom and Maasi.

"Don't worry Ayadh May be Anat is pregnant , so she might have fainted " one of the aunties said making the blood in me boil to the temperature of 100 degree Celsius. First of all I don't even know who the hell is this aunty on that she is talking rubbish . There is no way in which Anat could be pregnant.

"Aunty ,Anat is not pregnant " I said as humbly as possible. Although I was burning with anger ,anxiety and fear.

" Ayadh beta , your married for more than 3 months . I am sure Anat is pregnant. It's a girlish thing you won't understand " she said raising my anger to extents and I was about to blast her with my words but mom stopped me as she told me to splash some water on Anat's face to bring her back to conscious and after I sprinkled almost half the glass of water on her face she finally started to gain her conscious. She slowly opened her eyes and as soon as she opened her eyes , she hugged me as she said " don't leave me alone Ayadh, I am scared , please don't go away from me " she was completely unaware about our surroundings. She had no idea that we were surrounded by irritating aunties. So I hugged her back and caressed her back although I sensed many glares from aunties around me .

" I am here Anat dont worry . I'll never leave you alone " I said as I moved back from her and she was shocked to find mom ,Maasi and aunties in our room .

" Ayadh, Anat got back her conscious. I am sure she 'll tell you by herself that she is pregnant, isn't it Anat? " aunty asked making me go insane on her. I was already stressed as my wife is not well and this aunty over here is irritating me and her more .

" Aunty I am telling you for the last time Anat is not pregnant and I am sure that by Grace of Allah I can take care of my wife really well. So you all can go to your respective homes as Anat needs some time alone to take rest " I said as politely I could and they all looked at me offended but I swear this aunties are more than shameless cause they are still standing here . I opened the door and gestured them to move out as I had no other option.

"Ayadh , you shouldn't have behaved so rudely to them " mom said as soon as they left .

" Mom I tried being as polite as I could be but they are so shameless . When I told them once that Anat is not pregnant . Why on the earth are they not ready to drop that topic" I said irritated.

" But Ayadh how can you be so sure that Anat is not pregnant? " mom asked .

Ya Allah!!! Now even mom needs explanation. How am I supposed to tell her that she can't get pregnant cause we never had such close relationship with each other .

" Mom. I am her husband and I just know it and mom you tell me . What should I do when someone talks rubbish to my wife that to when she is not well and needs rest? I really cant spare the person who will make my Anat depressed " I said and mom gave me a sheepish smile and I knew what I had done to receive that. Anat was silently looking at us while her eyes were still filled with tears

"Bhaiya doctor is here" Yasmeen said as she came in with a lady doctor.

" Ayadh there is no need for check up" Anat said .

" Wifey , I am not asking doctor to do your pregnancy check up. Its a mere casual check up " I said to her with a wink and she looked down with a smile .

"When did you have food last time ?" The doctor asked to Anat

" May be at 8 o clock in the morning " Anat said after thinking for a while and I stared at her after her reply and it was as if she understood the reason of my stare as she added " I have a habit of staying empty stomach for a long time but I never faint " Anat said to doctor but while looking at me .

" It's not just because of starving. It's May be because you took a lot of stress over some thing" doctor said and tear stream started to flow from Anat's eyes .

" I guess you should share your problem with your husband don't keep it to yourself and take this medicines for 3 days on time after having food " doctor said to Anat and I shared a look with mom as doctor said it . What was the stress which Anat was hiding ? Could it be about Haya or Imran but that chapter was closed . Isn't it ? .

The doctor left the room with Yasmeen and mom immediately took a seat beside Anat.

" Anat ,what is the matter habibti ? Aren't you happy here ? Did you have a fight with Ayadh ? Or did I hurt you in any way ? Or did somebody else said something to you ?" Mom went on listing things but Anat stopped her as she said .

" Mom please calm down. Nothing happened as your thinking. It's just that I had breakfast early and I skipped my lunch and I had a little work stress and that's all" .

" but when I asked you . You told me your done with your lunch" mom said to Anat.

" Mom if I would tell you I dint have lunch , you wouldn't leave me till I finish my lunch but I had lots of work to complete before guests come so I lied " Anat replied feeling bad.

" Anat, this is so bad dear . How can you do that ? Look what you have done to yourself . You have no idea how badly I was worried for you . I never knew that my daughter knew to lie " mom said angrily to Anat.

" I am sorry mom, I'll never do it again . I promise " Anat said making the cutest face ever .

" Ok in that case I forgive you and this shouldn't be repeated again " mom said in a serious tone .

" I love you mom " Anat said as she hugged mom.

" and Ayadh your supposed to take care of my daughter now . I'll send food for her make sure she eats everything I send " mom said and left us alone .

I latched the door and say beside Anat. I knew she was stressed on something and it was surely not because of weakness .

" I have to tell you something Ayadh " she said hurriedly before I could tell anything.
