chapter 10 : believer/non-believer

Prophet (S.A.W) said " The best muslim among you is one who has good manners and who behaves well with his wife .

"Anat!!!!!" Ayadh screamed my name .

"I am coming "I replied and rushed downstairs . It's a week since me and Ayadh are married and Alhamdulillah ,everything is going great by Grace of Allah .

Today me and Ayadh are going on gaudh Bharayi (a function held before delivery of a pregnant women, it can be kept anytime after 7 months) of Sehrish bhabhi ,its her 8th month and I can't believe that I'll be seeing my niece or nephew anytime soon. Insha Allah.

"Why did you take so much time to get ready?" Ayadh asked.

"I was ready Ayadh but I wasn't able to find my new pair of sandals and that made me late " I replied making a puppy face to which he just smiled .

In a week, I realised that Ayadh is very pantual ,he likes to do everything on time .

He calls himself non believer but I felt he is lying to himself cause the reality is, he is a complete believer.

Even a believer would surely Miss some supplications or prayers but Ayadh he recites all prayers ,he supplicates before eating ,drinking etc.

He follows everything yet he calls himself a non-believer of Islam. I know he does it for a reason ,which I am unaware of but I'll not try to find it out until he tells it to me on in his own.

"Anat ,I got this gift for bhaiya and bhabhi ,just check if they 'll like it " Ayadh told and I nodded, while I started to see what he had brought.

It was a basket which had a top and pant which would suit both (baby girl/baby boy) . It had some toys which are usually attached to cradle of babies . I pressed the button which switches it on and I was shocked at what I heard .

Usually these toys have loud music and rhymes but the toys Ayadh bought had Hamd(praise of Allah) and Nath (praise of prophet) .

"Ayadh, how come these toys don't have music ?" I asked him.

"They actually had music but the shopkeeper is my friend, so I asked him if he could change it into Hamd and Nath instead of music " Ayadh said and paused .

"He told that he can but he needs a chip with Hamds and nath's as he dint have one , so I gave him my chip and he inserted it into The toy" Ayadh explained and I was admiring his every word like a fool .

"Anat ?" He called .

"Yes ?"

"Where are you lost wifey?" He asked with smirk.

"No where Mr.husband " I replied.

The whole function went great . Bhabhi looked soo pretty . She is gained some pounds and that is making her look more beautiful .

"Anat why dint Ayesha come ? " my mom asked referring to ayadh's mom.

"Ammi actually hajira maasi isn't well so she had to go there . She said to apologise to you from her side " I replied.

"It's ok dear, I can understand. By the way ,you and Ayadh come and have dinner it's already late"mom said left.

I went upstairs to search for Ayadh .

"Searching for me wifey ?" Ayadh asked from behind.

"You scared me " I said with a huff.. to which he chuckled .

"Let's go have dinner " I said and we walked towards dinning room as we entered we saw Bhai and bhabhi .

" Sehrish one last bite " Bhai told bhabhi while taking a morsel near her mouth.

"Arsalaan I m full , I can't eat even a bite more " bhabhi said.

"Your full but my baby isn't full yet ,so have this last bite . It's for my baby " Bhai said while placing his one hand on bhabhi 's baby bump .

"How mean Arsalaan " bhabhi said acting angry .

"Aww.... my wife is jaleous of my baby?" Bhai asked while kissing bhabhi's forehead and Bhabhi hit bhai's arm for his gesture.

" aren't they too cute " Ayadh asked me .

"Indeed they are . Sometimes I don't understand how two souls can love each other so much " I said.

"I know right? Bhabhi is very lucky to have Arsalaan Bhai in her life " Ayadh said .

"Bhai is also not less lucky . My bhabhi is also the best and Bhai got her after having a lot of patience " I said.

"Patience ? For what & Why? " Ayadh asked.

" Cause Bhai was bhabhi's secret admirer and he always loved her and bhabhi had no idea about that ,but finally destiny made them each other's "

"Woooow , I never knew this " Ayadh said.

"Anat ,Ayadh what are you people doing there? come let's have dinner " Bhai called us and we went to have dinner.

Every morning this thing troubles me . Of course that thing is nothing but my alarm and here it is ringing again.

I was about to off it ,when it stopped ringing, that never happened before .I mean how can it stop ringing before I off it ? . Anyway I have to offer tahjud . I thought and woke up with a yawn but when I found a pair of brown eyes looking at me . I quickly Sat up .

"Ayadh!!! How come your awake at this time? " I asked him.

" assalamualaikum wifey . I........ I thought that we ......... we could offer tahjud together " he said stammering a little and he left me in shock . Wasn't he the one ,who told me he offers salah's cause they are compulsory to offer? Then why is he offering tahjud which is an optional Salah? .

"You really wanna offer? " I asked .

"Yes , I want to " he said and smiled at him .

"Ok , I'll just make abluation and come then we 'll offer it " I said .

When I came out, I saw Ayadh that had already placed prayer mats for both of us .

He stood in front and I stood behind him .

Anat wasn't it your dream? To offer tahjud with your hubby ?

Shut up Anat what are you thinking.

That Anat who had this dreams died long back .

"Anat !! Are you done with prayers ? " Ayadh asked.

" Yes I m done "

"Then can you recite Quran? " he asked and I gave him a questioning look .

"I..... I mean I heard you reciting Quran yesterday and ..... and I really like the way you recite it so I thought , I could hear it again today " Ayadh said with a little stammer.

"Ok Mr.husband as you say " I said with a smile and he sat beside me .
