Growing Up Rainbow

On Home, a retro-futuristic planet inhabited primarily by women, daughters grow-up and form into rainbows. A rainbow is 6 girls each named after one of the colors, and all sharing a vocation.

This story follows six girls as they navigate the cultural divide between those on Home who follow the rainbows, and the Wild Woman who reject it.

Young tech genius Tomoe of the Wild becomes the first to attend Rainbow School, where she meets and connects with the other girls of Capricorn. The cultural conflict between the Wild and the Rainbows comes to a head and the girls are caught in the middle. Their penchant to break things in order to fix them, puts Home on the edge of civil war, and their love for each other saves it.

This is the origin story of Space Girl Rainbow Capricorn, and prequel to the novel The Adventures of Space Girl Red. It is told as episodes that are often short stories about each member of the Rainbow as a child, starting with their births. It is also a milieu story allowing you to explore the planet and culture of Home. An episode will consist of 1-3 parts and be released on Saturday and Wednesday every week. A complete first draft of the story has been written and is being edited, with the first months worth already loaded in for publishing, so don't be afraid to give it a follow.
