Zero, a black teen, wakes up with no memory of who or where he is. Understanding that this place he has woken up in is similar to an RPG game, he tries his best to maneuver through the world as a new Adventurer. When he learns that there is a person who steals from the weak and causes an imbalance between the rich and the poor that leaves the poor with very few options, he decides to do something about it. Will Zero succeed or fail? And will he regain his memory or will the life he forgot always be forgotten?

Book 1 in a series! Despite what Emrys has been told, her Kingdom Abneer was not the only one to survive, King Reyes is not the only monarch, and monsters are real. Previously a soldier for the King, now betrothed to his son, Prince Roan, Emrys Ortega is starting to feel the burden of the title she never wanted. After repeatedly sneaking out of the palace leads to a sinister threat from the King, Emrys begins to worry for her family's safety. So when she learns that one of her kingdom's soldiers has been kidnapped by the Queen of another Kingdom, Valoria, she sees this as her opportunity to redeem herself in the King's eyes and protect her family. The only problem is that she had no idea the Kingdom of Valoria even existed. In fact, the Kingdom is unlike her own. It's filled with the same monsters from the stories she had been told-monsters of the night. In order to rescue the soldier, Emrys must team up with the notorious monster, the Shadow Knight, and his team of mercenaries. Through their missions and encounters with the monsters, Emrys not only learns the true extent of the lies she had been fed, but that the King has something planned, far bigger than she ever imagined, and finally realizes that her true enemies may not be the monsters after all. Yet again Darkness is hungry for a war to end it all, but Light will always have troops at the ready. One girl. One kingdom. Eleven friends. Four Elements. No biggie. * I'm Melody, hybrid freak, nice to meet you, strange muggle who I know nothing about. I used to be like you, cluelessly ignorant and uninvolved with the outside world. You know, they have a big, yellow ball of gas in the sky. Weird. Anyway my life became something out of a bad Si-Fi movie, and no, Nicolas Cage isn't in it (sadly). There are two forces in the world, Light and Darkness, and when you side with Light, Darkness gets a stick up its ass and wants you to suffer. My friends and I, we roll with Light, you must know where that leads.... I have a kingdom to learn, powers to master, loud friends to keep in line, a boy that I'm messed up over, and above it all, Darkness to show whose boss. Not as easy as you might think, but this is MY story, and I know how it ends. Being a loyal follower of Light shows me the beauty in life and the devastation it can cause. Don't get me wrong, I love Light, but Darkness makes it hard to stay and fight. * Melody is weird. She's childish. She's awkward. And she's got boy issues she needs to work out. Mel will face evil like no other, but can she do it? Will the scales of Light and Darkness finally be tipped? How can one girl make a difference? This is Melody, a corky teenager, and she wants you to read her story. Like now. Enjoy! Highest rank- #69 in Fantasy (Still cant believe it!!)

Poverty, homelessness, child labor, low paying jobs, lack of education, these elements were the first things you realized when you were born into this world. A world where the lowest of the low won't have any chance in life due to their status, a status that they can not get out of. For you, you came to terms of the kind of environment you live in, but you're aware that the people around you have dream of having a better life. You always hear you're neighbors talk about how they deserve better meals, better income, better jobs, better crops and better housing. They want they're lives to prosper. To flourish into something they could never imagine. You couldn't help but agree to they're wishes and demands, but stuff like that takes time, and you're aware that you have no power or agency to reach those heights. So, you stay low, eyes glued on your books, work at your father restaurants as well as your mother school. You are just everybody else in this village, just a person that just needs to get through life. However, what if one day, the tables have turn and you had no choice but to live a completely different life? A life full of despair, agony, heart ache, bloodshed, and even death? On the other hand, a life full of new bounds, hope, heroism and prosperity. Will you survive this difficult life that you didn't choose or end up dying before you can even start?
