Pandeia, the daughter of Selene and Zeus, lived happily in her mothers realm. She was loved by all, even Ares, who didn't like anyone at all.
She was kind as she was fierce and had knowledge beyond her years, but no one could ever tell her about the place that interested her the most; the underworld.

So when Persephone and Hades's wedding was announced, she was excited to finally visit the underworld.
Little did she know what the events would lead to.

Hades, the gloomy god of the underworld who seeked no wife, was finally forced into a marriage he didn't want nor needed.
Little did he know how much this wedding would change his whole life and the underworld.

"I've told you, Hades, I can not become your mistress." she sadly told him. She had always lived in her mother's shadow, and if she followed Hades, she would once again be living in another's shadow. Even though she loved him, she did not think she could stomach it. "I do not want you to be my mistress, Persephone, I want you to be my queen," he confessed to her. She snapped her head up to meet his eyes, searching for any sign he wanted to take his words back, but there was no remorse. And just like that, she fell ever so slightly more in love with him. "Your queen?" she asked, she had to be sure. Strangely the word had slid off her tongue gracefully as if it had belonged there. "Yes, become my queen," he told her once again, taking back the step she had taken. "Rule besides me as the goddess of spring and the Underworld." The words don't seem to make sense in her mind. --- Further description in the book --- #1 - MYTH RETELLING (as of October 1st, 2021) #1 - GODDESS OF SPRING (as of Nov 23rd, 2021) #1 - HADES TOWN (as of Jan 13th, 2022) #1 - HADES AND PERSEPHONE (as of Feb 9th, 2022) #1 - GREEK MYTHOLOGY (as of March 29th, 2022) #1 - QUEEN OF THE UNDERWORLD (as of April 4th, 2022) #1 - PERSEPHONE AND HADES (as of April 20th, 2022) #1 - GOD OF THE UNDERWORLD (as of April 20th, 2022) #1 - KING OF THE UNDERWORLD (as of Dec 22, 2022) #2 - HECATE (as of Nov 4th, 2021) #2 - DEMETER (as of Jan 29th, 2022) #2 - KING AND QUEEN (as of Feb 21st, 2022) #2 - PERSEPHONE (as of Sep 20th, 2023) #3 - GREEK MYTH (as of May 6th, 2022) #4 - MYTH (as of April 21th, 2022) #4 - RETELLING (as of May 10th, 2022) #4 - UNDERWORLD (as of 26th, 2023) #6 - HADES (as of April 8th, 2022) #6 - DIVINE (as of May 6th, 2022) #41 - OLYMPIANS (as of Feb 9th, 2021) #55 - GREEK (as of May 8th, 2022) #61 - OLYMPUS (as of May 8th, 2022)

But after centuries pass with no Summoner, the dead remain buried. With the death of his daughter, Lord Eldridge begins the search for the Summoner, and miraculously succeeds. In exchange for her freedom, she agrees to help bring his daughter back to life. Unfortunately, her cruel father and King of the Underworld has different plans. Stuck between the living and dead, the Summoner must embark on a journey to defy her father, keep her freedom, and who better to help her than her newfound soulmate? ------------------ "Naughty, with your new husband just outside the door," he said. Eirene nodded, and smiled at him, looking over his shoulder at the weapons rack several feet away. The guard leaned in to kiss her, and she let him. He immediately began to lick the seam of her lips, and peppering kisses around her lips. She could admit he knew what he was doing, but bile rose in her throat and she longed to push him away. Instead she pulled him closer, and wrapped a leg around his waist. He groaned and lifted her up, carrying her further away from his escape and weapons. She pushed away from him and smirked. She backed up further and pulled a knife off of the wall. It's silver blade imprinted with the royal crest. She approached him and dragged the point of the knife over his jaw and down his neck. His breath hitched and his heart hammered. [COMPLETED - ONLY MINORLY EDITED] ******************************************************** Greek myths - true or false? They should be false, and to 16-year-old Sophie Claire, it's never crossed her mind that they aren't. Until one day in History class when her teacher spends a day on Greek mythology and something strange starts happening - her friends and classmates begin to tell myths about certain Greek deities with frightening precision. And for some reason, she's began to feel a certain affinity for Persephone, the Greek maiden who was kidnapped by Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, and forced into a marriage with him. This isn't some coincidence or freak dream, she later finds out from a host of strange individuals who claim they're from Olympus, the grandoise home of the gods themselves. She is actually a modern reincarnation of the goddess Persephone, and she's not the only one. A few of her classmates also happen to represent the gods and goddesses from popular Greek myths, and the fact that all of them are present means that something monumental is about to happen. Something like being the girl to change Persephone's future, to break the cycle of kidnapper and victim - all by passing a trial. It won't be simple, she knows, and she's not quite that eager to take it up, but from the moment she found out that she was Persephone, there was no way to back out. She should've known, however, that dealing with all powerful, immortal deities wasn't going to be easy. They've got a few secrets and personality flaws up their sleeves, and they could be deadly. More than deadly - murderous.
