America, 2085 The United States has fractured into several warring factions, each with its own vision of how society should be rebuilt after a catastrophic collapse. The old world-one of political corruption, environmental decay, and economic inequality-has crumbled, leaving behind a harsh new reality where survival is no longer about simple resources but about power, control, and the will to endure. The "Mindforge Trials" are a brutal, government-sanctioned competition where the strongest minds and bodies are pitted against each other. It's a spectacle-broadcast across the remains of the country, drawing in masses of viewers who place bets and cheer for the participants. The Trials are held in massive, secretive arenas known as "Forge grounds," hidden deep within the wastelands of old America. The trials are a mix of physical combat, psychological challenges, and strategic puzzles designed to break down the participants. Winners are promised power, wealth, and influence, while losers are discarded, their minds and bodies shattered.

Andrew has always lived in a town inhabited solely by male scientists and has been experiencing strange happenings with him and his surroundings. As he begins to unravel the mysteries of the town, he is thrown into a series of twists and turns that he must navigate to survive.

On March 21, 2031 nuclear war broke out across the world. Russia, China, North Korea, Japan and India formed an alliance. Europe and the United States worked together. Iran and Isreal combined forces. And World War III tore apart the world. Following the war, all but South America, Australia, Africa and the North and South Poles have radiation problems. But, even countries who remained nuetral suffered from death as well. Those who survived the attacks traveled by boat to every uneffected area, where war continued to break out and over population continued to reduce the amount of resources actually needed. Native's to their regions suffered at the hands of those responsible for the war, and they suffered more than anyone. Due to the greediness of the new comers and the abbhorence of the native's, World War IV 'The Purge' suceeded in reducing the population by 50%. Post WWIV, only .5% of the population still lived, roughly 375,000,000 people roamed Earth, the approximate population of the United States in 2030. Today, 300 years later, human's roam every continent once again, although all the attacked countries face major problems with mutated animals and an unknown wilderness. No alliances exist and every country fiends for themselves. How did North America accomplish this? The Hive.

At the apex of everything that is, each universe is governed by beings of sinless incorruptibility called Ki's, who ultimately determines the malevolency or benevolency of the universe in which it resides.
