Nightmare - the Guardian of Negativity - is known for being calm, collected and an all about respectable figure. He rarely falters when making a decision, never sugarcoats the facts of the situation and he most definitely doesn't let his emotions take control of him. Given those facts, there must be a logical reason as to why he's avoiding anything to do with Error, right? Sure, Error isn't the nicest to be around, but Nightmare of all people has never shown any hint of dislike towards him; if anything, it's the opposite. Ink wasn't one to be held up by emotions, despite what others think. He didn't have a soul, he went through his daily life with his vials. Until he met Error, at first when they fought Ink just wanted to get rid of this nuisance, but Error made Ink feel something. Something real, not authentic. So he wants Error, there is no substitute for how Error makes him feel. Although someone in the dark might also have their eyes on Error, the god of Negativity.
