For as long as I can remember, I was alone. But unlike most lonely people, I never desired friends, and I never understood why. Not that it bothered me. At school, everyone were friends with each other, and they paid so much attention to each other that they wouldn't even notice the loners. I was one of those loners... or should I say, the only one. When I was young, my parents abandoned me and gave me to my older cousin, who usually didn't give a crap about me whatsoever. We never gave each other much attention, so eventually, I learned how to fend for myself. I never knew the reasons why my life was like this. Also, My Brain says to mention that it's a detective novel, a love story, and a dark comedy all at once. Oh, and that it has lesbians, which My Brain finds particularly exciting.
