For however mentally unstable one can be, we all have feelings, including... the Joker. Started as a psychiatrist, now the Joker's accomplice. Was it the Joker who manipulated Harley or was it someone from her troubled past that had manipulated her into falling for Mr J? I don't own any of the characters or the names of places in this book. Chances are you've all heard the story by now. Thomas, Martha, and Bruce Wayne go into an alley after spending time in the theater. Bruce is the only one to come out alive and grows up to become Batman. Maybe you're even aware of one of the other scenarios. Bruce is the only one that dies, Thomas kills the shooter, Martha loses her mind out of grief for her son, and in the end Martha becomes The Joker after losing her mind in grief and Thomas becomes Batman. This isn't either of those stories. Aka my AU where Martha Wayne becomes Gotham's Bat. I'm throwing in a bunch of my headcanons and smashing together bits of canon from all over, because honestly DC doesn't give us as much with her as they've given us for Thomas.

After the events on Arkham Island. Lilith vowed for revenge on the Batman for what had happened to Jonathan Crane. Creating her own Fear Toxin, she fills in Scarecrow's place in her search for the missing Master of Fear. Thanks to Hugo Strange she is soon brought into the dangerous prison facility, Arkham City, where all inmates from both Arkham and Blackgate run free outside of Gotham.
