The pastel blue sky was dotted with fluffy white cotton balls. My eyes wandered down the familiar street in front of my apartment. A couple of kids were playing downstairs, both around my age, one bounced his football and the other chatted away. I sat back down on my soft bed and resumed staring at the blank wall.
Nothing to do, nothing to do. I'm so bored, nothing to do.
My hand pulled the top drawer and grabbed a notebook decorated with light blue glitter paper. Just a week ago, I had made my new diary due to me finishing my old one. I had nothing better to do anyway. All my friends are either moving to a new place or having fun at different locations for summer. I feel sad because I can't play with any of them and I know no one else in my neighborhood. I jotted down a few ideas for activities I could do this summer if I was bored, placing it inside the cover once finished, looking forward to the day when summer would end.
