Harry;

"Harold, where are you going, boy?" My dad chuckled behind me as I struggled to find the keys to my truck in the massive piles of clothes around my bedroom.

I was practically shaking, rattling bones and wide, freaked eyes. I'm supposed to be feeling like the biggest threat to the guys in this generation, considering the girl I'm taking out tonight. But, that was just it. She was so beautiful and everyone knew it, which made me more nervous.

"I have to find my truck keys, dad. Or I'll die," I breathed to him, finally sighing in frustration and tossing a shirt to the floor in annoyance. I ran a hand through my hair.

"Maybe if you cleaned around here, you'd probably find them..." he muttered lowly. "What's the rush for?"

My head turned and I grabbed a hold of his shoulders, staring into his eyes with mine widened. I inhaled. "I'm taking out the prettiest girl I've ever seen in my life. The most beautiful laugh and voice, and more personality than a good portion of this town."

He eyed me, slowly processing my words. His lips pressed into a firm line and he hummed. "Ah...it's that type of occasion...-- I can just let you borrow the nicest car in the garage."

My lips parted, no doubt shock appearing on my face. I began to furrow my eyebrows. "...the...the classic Mustang?"

I watched as he reached into his back pocket, bringing out the keys with a jingle. My eyes directly watched the hanging keys in front of my face, utter excitement filling me and the grin on my lips. I let go of his shoulders and reached for them, but he swiftly moved them away behind him.

He narrowed his eyes at me. "One scratch or a stain in my custom seats, I will suspend your allowance and give away Bubbler to that little girl down the road -- understood?"

I nodded my head. "I promise. Nothing bad will happen to this car under my watch."

"Your attention will most likely be on other things, boy. I'm not stupid. This is a warning," he repeated lowly.

"Yeah, yeah," I waved it off carelessly, grinning madly when he dropped the keys into my hands. "I love you so much. You're the best!" I exclaimed, running past him and out into the hallway. From my bedroom, he sighed and smiled with a shake of his head.

Downstairs, little Max, my little brother of six years, sat with Bubbler -- our newest cat. Bubbler was a small, grey Maine Coon kitten with blue eyes I happened to find alone in our field with Max a couple of weeks ago. Ever since, Max has not left it alone and the cat neither minds nor seems to react. He named the cat, too -- Bubbler because his eyes remind him of bubbles.

Max spotted me as I rushed to the front door. With Bubbler in his arms, he sprinted towards me, blocking the front door. He leaned against it, big green eyes staring up at me as I made an abrupt stop.

"Harry, you said you'd take me to the soccer game in the city with Louis and Niall," Max reminded me softly, pouting lips and furrowed eyebrows.

I sighed impatiently. I promised him, and Niall, Louis and I were working for the tickets. "Max, buddy, I am going to take you soon. Don't worry," I tried with a side smile, ruffling his messy hair.  "Now, I really gotta go."

He moved away from the door, and I immediately pulled it open. Jogging down the front steps, I heard Max shout behind me, "Bye!"

"Bye, Max!" I shouted back, not bothering to turn around.

"And Bubbler says bye, too!"

Alexis;

My light denim shorts were folded at the ends, grey blouse tucked into the high waist ends. I smiled at my mirror. My hazel eyes crowned by my eyelashes lightly coated in mascara. Lips a soft, low pink. I grabbed my belt and made sure to tightened it at just the right amount.

With an intake of breath, I straightened and out and shook my shoulders. A nervous smile slipped onto my face. It's not as if I've never been on a date. I was a wreck my first date ever, and oddly enough I'm much more nervous for this one.

"Movies with Harry? That's tonight?" Nonna asked behind me as I stood by the window, awaiting for his arrival.

I nodded my head, turning around to face her. "Yeah. I'm so nervous."

"Why? It's just a date. Be yourself," she began to advise, placing her hands on my shoulders and giving me a light shake. "- and say no to drugs, sex, and alcohol."

My eyes narrowed. "Nonna, I am not brainless."

"Honey, what's that?" She poked my shirt, and I looked down, and just as I did, she brought her finger up and lifted my chin, eventually making me look stupid. I rolled my eyes with a playful pout as she laughed. "Definitely the most intellectual gal I know."

There was a knock on the door, and my eyes widened. I inhaled shakily and looked to my Nonna, and she rolled her eyes and waved her hand in the direction of the door as to urge me to get it. I swallowed down the nerves, although they were definitely still present.

I quickly jogged to the door and stood before it, straightening myself out one more time before grasping the doorknob. I pulled the front door to reveal the gorgeous guy with deathly handsome looks and sweet manners. Dream guy, noted.

"Hey, beautiful," he greeted with a faint smirk, pale green eyes trailing down my figure briefly afterwards.

"Hi," I smiled.

Behind me, Nonna poked her head to glance at us. "Hello, Harry, right?"

"Nonna," I whispered, trying to gesture her to go away. Don't get me wrong, she has the right to meet him, but I know her and all she wants to do is tease us. Me in particular.

Regardless, she ignored me. "It is a pleasure to see you again. I'm Susanna, little Alexis's grandma here."

Harry smiled. "It's nice to properly meet you."

"Manners...hmm. I like you -- anyways, I want her back before midnight. I'll come hunt you down if she's not," she warned him and I sighed.

I shook my head, placing my hands gently on her cheeks. "No you won't." I said softly, "Because you'll be sleeping and not drinking and resting because you need it." Before she could protest, I placed a big, sloppy kiss on her forehead and fled for the porch where Harry stood quietly.

Grabbing his hand, I pulled him down our steps quickly as Nonna shouted, "Hey, hey, no --"

"I love you!" I interrupted her.

She groaned and shut the door. I dropped Harry's hand, and he led me towards the passenger side of the car. I gazed upon it and gushed, "Whoa, this is such a nice car. My dad had one of these."

"Yeah, this one belongs to my dad. He let me borrow it for the night," he explained to me briefly, a cheeky grin on his face when he opened the door for me. I glanced at him with a smile and gladly got inside. I buckled in, watching as he made it to the driver's seat.

He straightened out before starting the car. "So you said your dad had one of these cars?"

"Yeah. He used to collect classic cars. He stopped for some reason," I shrugged, glancing around the car that smelled like lemon tea. The smell was calming for some reason.

The radio was turned up, and a familiar song blared through. I went to speak, but so did Harry. "I love this band," we both said. Our eyes locked briefly, a laugh leaving both of our mouths.

"No Doubt? Really?" Harry asked with fascination almost.

I nodded. "And the Sex Pistols, the Eagles. Jethro Tull?" I ended with a question.

"Who doesn't know Tull's best single. Aqualung."

With a grin, I teasingly sang, "Feeling like a dead duck."

He laughed and murmured back the lyrics, dazed smirk on his lips. "Spitting out pieces of his broken luck..."

"Oh, Aqualung," I finished for him, leaning back into my seat, having forgotten about the knots in my stomach and the nervous hands clasped on my lap.

Harry then said, "I'm surprised you haven't asked me what movie we're watching."

"Do you want me to?" I giggled.

"Yes."

"What movie are we watching?"

He hummed, shaking his head. "It's a surprise."

My lips parted, a scoff next. "I was cheated."

"By curiosity, not me," he defended himself with a chuckle. "And did I mention you look perfect?"

I felt some heat rise to rest against my cheeks as I couldn't help but smile. "Thank you."

I saw him smile, dimpled and all. "I love that." He said.

"Love what?" I questioned.

"I compliment you, and you get all shy. It's just...really cute."

We arrived at our date location a few minutes later. I was surprised to see the arrangement of various cars parked in a large field, and even more noticeable screen at the very front of the assembled cars. I smiled upon watching the intros of the movie we'll be watching on the very large screen while Harry found a parking lot.

I watched him carefully. His defined jawline, perfectly shaped lips, and long, thick eyelashes. His nose fit his features so well, and I found myself really fascinated with his side profile. Or the big hands wrapped around the steering wheel. The pale green eyes searching for a spot. And he was taking me out.

He finally stopped and parked the car, sighing and looking up at me. "You want some snacks? I can get them real quick by the stand over there."

"Uh, sure. Popcorn?"

"Yeah," he smiled, "I'll go right now. The movie's starting in a few minutes."

Harry did as he said and jogged over to buy the popcorn. I sighed and let out a girlish squeal to myself now that I was alone. He was so sweet, handsome, and...heavenly. I didn't know whether to start crying or feel blessed for this luck.

He stood outside with the popcorn a few minutes later, movie just rolling in the beginning credits. "Would you rather watch it on the roof of the car?"

"That's a good idea," I commented, getting out of the car. He put down the sealed back of popcorn for a brief second, asking me if I needed help. I tried to be careful on the car, feeling his hands grasp my hips and help me on the final steps so I wouldn't fall. I blushed as I sat down.

Harry passed me the popcorn before climbing on the top himself. He took his seat next to me, sitting with his arms behind him for support. As he lent back, he took a breath and looked over to me. I felt his heated gaze as I peered up at the screen, seeing the title "Jumanji". I giggled to myself.

My giggling stopped when I felt a pair of lips on my cheek in a kiss. His warm breath fanned against my skin as he whispered, "You're so beautiful."

I turned to look at him, inevitably at a close distance to his face. My eyes averted down, away from his overwhelming ones. "You say that a lot," I whispered softly.

"Because it's true. I'm surprised you weren't whisked away by some other guy before I even got the chance to ask you first," he confessed, my pulse nearly stopping with the sincerity of his tone.

The movie began and we were silent for the most part of it unless we were laughing or sharing popcorn. At one point, he opened his mouth and beckoned me to feed it to him. I reached into the bag and placed one into his mouth, but he bit my finger teasingly before I could pull it away. I would giggle and scoff, nevertheless enjoying the time we were spending together.

He gestured that he would feed me this time. I opened my mouth and he leaned forward, popcorn ready to go until he placed a kiss on my nose and threw it into his mouth instead. My lips parted in a playful gasp, eyes narrowing at him. He chuckled at my reaction.

Another moment passed before I felt his arm wrap around my waist, pulling my body closer to his side. I nearly melted when he gently caressed the tips of his fingers against the my thigh, the gesture both achingly soothing and alarming to my heart.

"I've seen the movie hundreds of times since it came out last year, with my little brother Max," Harry informed me as we walked around the field like many people were doing. The movie had been over now and I still had maybe half an hour to spare before Nonna could "hunt him down".

I walked beside him, still holding the popcorn bag that was now nearly empty. "Little brother? How old?"

"His full name is Maximilian Styles, but we call him Max because we just got really lazy. He's six. He's going into the first grade after summer."

"Aw, is he a cutie?" I asked him teasingly.

"Well he looks a bit like me, so yeah. He is," he cockily remarked. "Are you done with the popcorn?" He questioned, and I nodded. He grabbed it from me and tossed it into a trash bin we were walking by. "So...how about you? Any siblings?"

She nodded. "I have an older sister, Rebecca. She's into all that political stuff," I told him. "She rarely comes to visit. We call her on her birthday and we never succeed in convincing her to visit."

"Yeah, I know the feel. Mine's like that, too. Gemma." He sighed. "For now, it's just me and my dad and Max. Plus our kitten Bubbler."

I frowned lightly. "Where's your mom?"

He shrugged. "In California? She always had this wild dream to be an actress, and here she felt so deprived of her ambitions. My dad thought the only way to make her happy is to send her there -- the golden coast. He saved up the money and there she is now. She calls every now and then," he explained. "Yours?"

"Uh...rarely see mine. They're always traveling the world for charities. I didn't feel like it this year for some reason, and I came here with my Nonna. Just because I haven't seen her in such a long time, and I missed being insulted by her," I said with a smile.

Harry chuckled. "You really love your grandmother. I can tell. Just by the way you care for her."

"She's the best." I laughed.

"Mine is up there somewhere. Hopefully in Heaven," he looked up, and I did, too.

I felt an ache for him. It was dull and unpleasantly hallow. "I'm sorry."

"No, don't be. It's okay. I've come to terms that she'll never come back. And honestly, she's much safer up there than anywhere down here. I like to think she's happy," he told me quietly.

I tried to smile. "I think that, too."

We started driving back to my house. I was so happy and energetic from being on this date, I forgot that time seems to move faster when you're having fun. Harry parked in front of my house, and of course, opened the door for me.

Standing on the porch, I turned to look up at him. I found that he was already looking at me. "This was such a great night," I told him quietly. "Thank you."

He faintly smiled, pale green eyes still watching me so closely. I inhaled deeply when he stepped closer. He slowly placed his hands on my waist and I blushed like lava. When he leaned in, foreheads touching, he whispered, "I really want to kiss you."

My arms were limp by my sides. I looked down at his lips, the bottom one stuck between his teeth in want. The image was so alluring, I nervously gazed back into his eyes.

"If you allow me, I will," he sincerely stated. I was nearly closing my eyes. They fluttered as I nodded, and I felt him inhale before leaning in. Closing the gap between our lips, his soft ones touched against my own. The taste of a fruity soda that we last had was on his lips, mine similar.

It was so soft, and sweet. He didn't force it, which I both adored and admired. The gentle kiss was over after a few seconds, before he kissed me once more, and I had to remind myself how to function my body muscles properly.

A faint smile was plastered on his lips as a hand came up to stroke his thumb across my cheek. I opened my eyes and blushed once again, irritatingly. I couldn't help but smile, unable to contain it. My toes curled in excitement and he chuckled when I was practically beaming at him.

"I really did enjoy tonight," I admitted softly.

The hand still on my waist moved to my lower back, the other lowering from my face to clasp with the first. He nudged his nose with mine, murmuring, "I did, too. And I really want to take you out again. And again...and again."

I briefly laughed. "I would really want that, too."

"Really?" He asked huskily.

"Yes. One hundred percent." I confessed.

He suddenly groaned. "Please, no math. It hurts my brain. Numbers, ah shit," he playfully grabbed his head with his hands, and I nearly pouted because they left me. Not until he got me to laugh was when he placed them back where they were.

"I feel the same way about mathematics. It's a mystery."

Harry nodded. "Please, I can't even multiply fractions," he joked. "Long division? We have calculators."

"I love how that's all fourth grade math. Whoa, maybe I should tutor you," I played along.

He bit down onto his lip, moving closer than before, a hum leaving the back of his throat as he rasped, "Maybe you should." He didn't hesitate to place another kiss on my lips, this one prolonged and deeper than the last. We pulled away with that soft click, lips brushing against one another even then.

I was still beet red from before, and it worsened now when I opened my eyes. He grinned. "I guess I should be going now. I have to get up early and help my dad out. But, I'll come by tomorrow if you want."

"Yes," I said almost too quickly, and he noticed but only smiled. "Whenever works," I shyly added.

"Alright, cool. I'll see you tomorrow, then."

"Tomorrow." I nodded.

"Tomorrow." He replied, not before he pecked my lips and with that, he was jogging off to his car. I turned around and hurried to inside. Shutting the door behind me, I glanced into the window to see him driving off.

With a large sigh, I looked around the house that was in complete silence, and then I squealed into my hands. For minutes I stood there, being the huge girl I am, and I squealed and jumped, hopped, and what not. I was so excited for this summer.

I went upstairs after releasing my inner psycho, and went to check up on Nonna. She was, thankfully, cuddled up in her sheets and pillows. She looked peaceful, chest rising and falling steadily as she snored lightly.

Then, I returned to my bedroom. Where I changed into my night gown and lied on my back on the bed. I stared up at the ceiling for the rest of the night until maybe 2AM or so. I just couldn't stop the thoughts of tonight or the sensation of his lips. We kissed, twice. And as stupid it was to get excited for such thing, I have never really felt, throughout my teen years, this true feeling of juvenility.
