"What?" I asked annoyingly.
"I don't like him" He said.
Is he being serious right now? For one second we were laughing and joking and now he suddenly decided not to like someone? Not to mention that the someone is an amazingly good looking guy.
"What the hell?! You can't just meet someone and decided that you don't like them and act like a jerk around them." I partly shouted as a sudden heat of anger rush through me.
I looked back to Clayton who felt silent. Guilt filled his eyes as he stared down at his knotted hands.
"Look, I didn't meant to act like a jerk. What is the problem to you anyway?"
I looked back at the road. "Yeah, suuree."I said sarcasticly.
The rest of the drive was silent. An uncomfortable silence that was accompanied by an agony tension between us.
When we arrived back to the hotel, we directly went back to our rooms, not saying anything. I'm still so pissed at Clayton right now.
Ashley and I felt silent in the room. She was looking at her clothes and playing her phone, like she was texting someone. While I was just lying on my bed. Josh just popped out of my head.
What is he doing?
Is he with another girl?
Do he miss me?
Why didn't text or call me again?
All those questions swirled around my head as I stared at the white ceiling.
I missed him. I know I was yelling at him when he called but I still loved him. He was the first real relationship I've ever had.
"You know you shouldn't be mad at him." Ashley said breaking the silence and snapping me put of my thoughts.
"Huh?" I replied.
"Don't you see?"
"See what?" I asked.
"He likes you"
My eyes widden. "No way, he just broke up, he can't just be a jerk anytime he wants"
"I know, but you should probably apologize"
"Oh now it's my fault?" I snapped.
"I'm not saying tha-"
"Drop it, Ashley" I said. I was heating up talking about Clayton.
She sighed and said, "I'm gonna take a shower"
I nodded and turned on the TV trying to get the Clayton thing out of my mind.
I was in the middle of watching Master Chef, and my phone buzzed. A text.
I thought it was my mom but when i checked, it was an unknown number.
"Hey" it said.
"Who is this?" I texted back.
Not long after that, my phone buzzed again signing that there was a new text. I checked it and i froze.
My eyes widden.
My jaw dropped.
