"Why in the hell would someone want to steal your kid?" Kirstie asked in a pissed tone.
"They apparently think we don't deserve her."
"Why wouldn't you deserve your kid? You're great parents!"
"They don't even know us. Scott says he thinks it's because we're two guys. He seemed to be getting that vibe."
"That's ridiculous. I hate this."
"Me too Kirst. I just want my kid back. I don't care what this guy thinks."

"️Scotty. What're we gonna do?" Scott and I were laying in bed that night.
"I'm not sure. Go to the police tomorrow. Give him this guy's phone number and hope they can track him down."
"You think they'll find him?"
"I think so. Well, I hope anyway."
"Me too. I'm so worried Scotty."
"Don't worry honey. Come here." He held his arms out and I scooted towards him, wrapped my arms around his waist and nuzzled my head into his neck, "I love you Mitchy." He kissed my head and scooted down further into the covers.
"I love you too Scotty."
"Everything will be okay. We'll get our daughter back with the help of police and it'll be okay." I pulled back a little and gave him a kiss before cuddling into his warmth again.
