I am aware that it is canon that Steve Rogers knows Italian and Russian but for the sake of this chapter he only knows English
Bucky woke up in a fairly bad mood this morning. Sam and Steve were sparring and when they were walking past his room to go to the kitchen they talked way to loud, especially for his super-hearing ass.
So when he walked into the kitchen looking pissed off and tired, Steve and Sam gave him a wave and whispered good morning.
Bucky ignored them and started making himself coffee when Natasha strolled in.
She also ignored the two men who said hello to her, sitting on the island in the kitchen, smiling at Bucky.
"Утро Джеймс" (Morning James). Natasha spoke.
"Утро, Наташа, хочешь что-нибудь?" (Morning Natasha, want anything?) Bucky asks politely. Natasha glances at the two men who were looking at them and glared at them before speaking.
"Немного чая пожалуйста." (Some tea please.) Natasha says looking back at a neutral faced Bucky who was a bit confused.
"Хорошо, почему, где ты смотришь на Стива и Сэма?" (Alright, why were you glaring at Steve and Sam?) Bucky asks while making her tea and handing it to her. He glares at the two a bit before taking a sip of his coffee.
"Ну, они были очень противны этим утром и разбудили меня, и я могу сказать, что Сэм случилось с тобой, так что давайте представим, что мы говорим дерьмо."
(Well they were very obnoxious this morning and woke me up and I can tell same happened to you, so let's pretend we're talking shit.)
Natasha states with a glare directed at the two. They started sweating, confused, and scared of what they did.
"Вот почему ты мой любимый, Старк второй, но не говори ему, что я это сказал." (This is why you are my favorite, Stark is second but don't tell him I said that.)
Bucky says with venom dripping from his tone, glancing at the two who looked ready to shit themselves.
The two Russians continued like this for quite a while. When Clint walked in and saw the two assassins speaking Russian very quickly and angrily while glaring at Steve and Sam, he turned right around and went back to bed.
Eventually, the two left, but not without giving the two one final glare.
When they left Steve and Sam took a breath of relief.
"I have to ask Stark what they said," Steve stated, his head leaning on the table as he contemplated his life choices.
Sam shook his head.
"What if they find out! They'll kill us and our bodies will never be found." Sam exclaims.
Tony watched the whole thing happen and had FRIDAY translate it to him. He walked into the room nonchalantly desperately trying to not laugh and made himself some coffee.
The two exchanged looks before Sam sighed and spoke up.
"Hey Stark, I got a favor to ask you," Sam says in a nervous tone. Tony raises a brow.
"Uh- Bucky and Natasha were just in here speaking Russian and looking at us like they wanted to murder us and we were wondering if you could translate it?" Sam asked with a shy smile.
"So cosa hanno detto, ma ti farò soffrire gli idioti perché sei molto fastidioso. La prossima volta non svegliare tutti parlando così sciocchi idioti." (I know what they said but I'll let you idiots suffer because you're very annoying. Next time don't wake everyone by talking so loudly morons.)
Tony says with an annoyed tone, before turning around and leaving with his coffee. Steve and Sam shared terrified looks.
"We're so screwed."
Tony found Natasha and Bucky who were still talking in Russian. They were laughing with each other.
"You know I love it when you two do things to scare those two idiots," Tony says with a smile. They look at him and chuckle.
"You had FRIDAY translate?" Natasha asks with a smirk. Tony nods.
"When they asked me to translate I simply talked Italian to them, the looks on their faces were priceless," Tony says pulling up the feud and showing it to them. Bucky started laughing hysterically.
"That's what they get for waking us up so early," Bucky says once he calms down a bit.
"So I'm your second favorite?" Tony says with a smile. Bucky lightly smacks his arm.
"Shut up, you're bearable." Tony chuckles before an idea pops up into his head.
"Think we can get everyone who knows another language that they don't in on this to piss them off?" Tony asks with an evil smirk. A similar smirk spreads onto Bucky's and Natasha's faces.
"Let's do it."
~Time skip~
"Hey, Peter I was wondering if you can make some adjustments on my suit?" Sam asks Peter who was hanging from the ceiling while doing homework.
"Hai ferito il signor Stark durante lo scontro in Germania, quindi non mi piaci molto." (You hurt Mr. Stark during the fight in Germany, so I don't like you very much.) Peter ends with a glare.
Sam quickly walks off wondering what he did to piss off the cinnamon roll.
"Got that FRIDAY?" Peter asks while chuckling.
"That I did sir."
~Another time~
"Hey, Clint wanna spar?" Sam asks.
"Also do you know why everyone's speaking another language recently?" Steve asks.
"No, perché è divertente vederti soffrire e vendicarsi per averci svegliato così presto." (No, because it's funny to see you guys suffer, and revenge for waking us all up so early.) Clint says, before hissing at the two of them. They very quickly walk out of the room and go and train alone.
~With Steve and Sam~
"Why does everybody hate us right now?" Sam asks while sulking.
"And speaking another language, I don't get it." Steve whines.
"Because you're very annoying and you guys woke us up early with your obnoxious talking," Tony says walking into the room with the others.
"Wait that's why you guys were mad at them? I was mad at them for Germany." Peter says in shock. His doe eyes shined innocence but hatred towards the two.
Everyone but Sam and Steve laughed at that. Tony ruffled his curly hair.
"Nah kid, we're over that," Tony says with a smile. Peter pouts and crosses his arms.
"Non sono e ancora non mi piacciono. Soprattutto Steve, lo odio davvero." (I'm not and I still don't like them. Mostly Steve, I really hate him.)
Everyone burst out laughing as Sam and Steve look around confused.
"What did he say that's so funny?" Steve asks.
Tony shakes his head as he chuckles.
"Don't- don't worry about it."
Steve and Sam whined, finally giving up as everyone around them laughed.
