My eyes shot open from the darkness, I scanned the room I was in, the walls looked like they were made of flesh, and they were pulsing like they were alive. "Where the hell am I?" I wondered. "Thank god your back to normal." I heard Homura's voice. "Homura? Where the hell are we?" I questioned. "Inside of Orochi, Dogen, the headmaster of Hebijo, sacrificed all of us to create it. You were being mind controlled, just like Hikage and Mirai, I was able to free you though, and it certainly wasn't easy." She explained. "That bastard, we need to get out of here and stop him and Orochi." I told her. She shook her head, "I already killed Dogen, and as far as Orochi goes, Asuka and Izuku are outside fighting him, I can feel it, what we need to is find and free Yomi and Haruka, they're still here somewhere." She explained. "Alright, lets hurry then, I don't think Deku and that girl alone can hold this thing off for very long, not unless some miracle happens."
We ran through the insides of the beast fighting off the disturbing monsters that were living inside of it. These things, why do they remind me of that monster Deku and I encountered back in middle school? I wondered as we suddenly came to a big grassy field with a single tree in the center, and standing under it was Yomi, who was wearing a pure white dress that stopped at her thighs. "Yomi!" I called out to her and ran. "Katsuki, Homura, what are you doing here?" She asked with a scared expression. "We're inside some giant monster, we need to get out of here." I told her. "Katsuki be careful, she might be normal now, but Orochi still has a grip on her, he can make her snap at any moment." "It will," Yomi assured, "Both of you, when that happens, I don't care what you have to do, please stop me, don't let me end up hurting you guys, I wouldn't be able to live with myself, after everything we've been through."
As she finished her words, she suddenly transformed into her Shinobi outfit, but all of her body and clothes had turned a bright scarlet. "Get ready Katsuki!" Homura yelled as Yomi charged at us. She swung her broadsword at me, but I managed to just barely dodge it. I went to summon my gauntlets but, I can't use them she's not doing this of her own free will. I thought and dodged whatever attacks she let off. Homura swooped in and clashed her swords against her. "Katsuki now!" She ordered and I weaved my way around her and struck Yomi in the stomach with my palm. She got sent flying by got back up and charged at us again. "Homura, how did you beat the others?" I asked. "After I dealt enough damage they snapped out of it, a hard enough hit from you though should be enough." She answered me. I cracked my knuckles, "Alright, sorry about this Yomi." I apologized before closing in and striking her stomach yet again, the scarlet remained, and she had an evil grin on her face. "You bastard!" I screamed at the sight. "LET GO OF MY FRIEND!" I demanded and let off a kick that hit Yomi in the bottom of the jaw.
She was sent flying away and stopped moving as the scarlet faded away and seemed to slither down a hall. "Yomi!" We both called out to her. We both dropped to our knees to check on her. Thankfully, she was alive, and didn't seem too hurt. "Did you win?" She asked us. I smiled, "Of course we did, not like I'll ever let us lose in a two on one." I gloated trying to make her smile. It worked, I didn't need her to be worrying right now, especially when we still have to find Haruka. "Whatever Katsuki." Homura chuckled. "Yomi will you be okay on your own, we still need to find Haruka?" She asked. Yomi gave a nod, "I can manage, you two do what you need to do." She answered. We gave her nods and began to run off, "Katsuki!" She called to me. "Yeah?" "I just want to say, I'm glad you consider me your friend now." She thanked me. It was only then that I realized what I said. I laughed, "What do you mean now?" I questioned her before admitting, "You guys were always my friends, guess it took all of this for me to realize that." She and Homura smiled. "Don't tell me you're going soft on us." Homura teased. "As if Crab Claws!" I told her. The two of them just laughed as we finally continued through the hall to find Haruka.
When we found her, the area was similar to the one we found Yomi in, but there was no exit other than the one we came through. "Makes sense she would be in the deepest part of this thing, it must have been using Haruka as a medium to control the others." Homura stated.
"Right you are." Haruka spoke, but we could tell it wasn't really her, even before she turned scarlet, Orochi was already in control of her. "I'm surprised you were able to beat all of them, and you even had enough strength to run alongside this one, not surprised though, you are the favorite." She explained. "I don't know what you mean by that, but you better let her go right now!" I demanded summoning my gauntlets, If Yomi can take a kick to the chin, Haruka can handle a few explosions. I thought as she turned full scarlet. "Let's see if you were even worthy of that power!" Pieces of Hebijo castle came in from the fleshy walls and formed massive arms on Haruka. Without hesitation she began to swing them around to attack us. My explosions were able to temporarily shatter them, but her Puppeteer ninjutsu was used to piece them back together instantly.
"Damnit!" I yelled in frustration. "Katsuki don't lose it here, you need to focus if we're going to stop her." She told me. "I know damnit, but those arms just keeps coming back!" I yelled. We continued to fight to no avail until Homura got an idea, "Katsuki, remember that power you used at the beach when we got into that fight, try to pull on just a little bit of it now, and make me an opening, then I'll close in with Engetsuka and finish it." She informed me. "The seventh sword, are you sure you can draw that thing?" I questioned her. She gave a nod, "Yes." She replied with full seriousness. "Alright buy me some time." I requested and she got right in front of me defending me from any and all attacks.
Deep in my mind, I found him, "Interesting for you to come here of your own free will Katsuki." He spoke. "Shut the hell up, I'm just here for the power that belongs to me bastard, and I'm gonna take it whether you like it or not!" I told him off and reached my arm up to draw a small amount of power from him. "This will do." I spoke. "Will it now?" He chuckled.
Homura was still fighting for her life when I came back. I focused the little bit I grabbed into my arms and watched as the black streaks wrapped around them. "Get ready Homura!" I warned her and she jumped up in the air. The arms swung back trying to clap down on me, "Take this!" I yelled and caught the arms before twisting my entire body and ripping them off of Haruka. Her body was to stunned to move but the scarlet remained. "Homura!" I yelled to her. She leaped from the ceiling of the area and with a deep breath she finally unsheathed her Seventh blade. Her hair turned a flaming crimson and she swung her blade, slashing the scarlet from Haruka's body and freeing her.
Homura caught her before she hit the ground. My body felt drained from using my power, even for just a few seconds. "Is she okay?" I asked. Homura gave a nod, "Just a few scratches on her, but she'll live." "It'll take more than that to kill me you two." Haruka spoke with a strained voice. Homura and I smiled at her, "Glad to see you're awake." I told her. Before she could say another word, the whole place started to rumble. "Orochi must be coming undone since we freed everyone it absorbed." Homura spoke. The three of us grabbed onto each other as the monster vanished from around us and we fell to the ground. Thankfully, the others made it out, and we spotted Deku and that girl wrapped up together passed out.
"At least he's alive." I spoke to myself. "Is everyone okay?" I asked them. They all gave nods to confirm it. I was relieved, however that relief lasted all of five seconds as a deep, menacing laugh rang out. "You really thought that was the end?" "No!" Homura yelled. It was Dogen, he was still alive. "Don't feel too bad Homura, what you killed was merely a shadow clone, a simple trick." He explained. "Are you a clone too?" I asked him. "I'm afraid so, my real body is here though, and this clone won't last for long." The ground and the air began to rumble as bloodlust filled the area. "Katsuki, Homura, Yomi, Hikage, Mirai, Haruka, behold," He yelled as the clone dispersed and a new threat appeared.
"BEHOLD THE TRUE MIGHT OF OROCHI!"
"What the hell is that thing?" Mirai questioned staring at the monster. "That must be Orochi's true form." Haruka answered, unsure herself. Dogen's head was sticking out from its chest. "IT'S TIME FOR YOU ALL TO DIE!" Dogen yelled. We all looked back and forth from each other, and we all had the same thought. "You really think that thing can kill us?" I questioned him. "You already tried to kill us once and failed." Homura reminded him. "No matter what you try, your efforts will always be futile." Yomi assured him. "We were chosen as the strongest in Hebijo for a reason." Hikage stated. "We won't go die just because you want us too!" Mirai told him. "No matter how big of a monster you throw at us." Haruka spoke. We all stood side by side, transforming and pulling out our weapons ready to face him.
Homura yelled out, "Prepare to face the might of the Crimson Squad!" With our new banner called out by Homura we charged forward just as the monster did. In an instant I grabbed Hikage and used an explosion to catapult her at Orochi. She landed on one of its arms and slashed away at it from there. "Mirai fire at it!" Yomi yelled to her as the two of them shot countless rounds at it while Homura, Haruka, and I kept going. "Step on my shoulders!" I told them and once they were on I blasted all three of us off at it. "DIE!" Dogen yelled as Orochi swung at us. Homura was quick at slashed up its fingers. Using the flying digits, we charged up its arm heading for Dogen.
"If we can kill him, it should bring Orochi down!" Haruka spoke. We both gave nods and continued our charge. It let out a roar and two black beams shot out from beside it destroying the ground. "Keep going!" Homura yelled as we just barely dodged the attacks. From its skin bubble out skulls swathed in fire. Without hesitation Haruka jumped in front and used her puppets chainsaws to destroy them. She reached for my hand and slung me right at Dogen. "Finish him!" She yelled. I let off my explosions to fly at him faster. From the monsters skin multiple serpents flew out. I used my explosions to soar around and dodge them as best I could. "I'm not gonna lose a fight in the air, bastard!" I taunted them as I found an opening and flew straight at Dogen. "DIE!" I yelled at him. Before I could make contact, several snakes popped out from around him and grabbed me biting and digging into my skin.
"Get out of my sight you failure." Dogen spoke before another snake appeared and bit my throat. "KATSUKI!" They all yelled concerned for me. The snakes let go and I started to fall, my vision was getting blurry, I could barely breathe. Not like this.
"Do you need my help again?" All for one spoke. I could hear him clear as day. "I don't mind giving you some of my power again, but how long will it be before you realize how weak you truly are, you hold yourself back Katsuki, why not let it run wild?" He questioned. I could see him now, "Just take my hand, and all that power can be yours." I didn't say a word and walked my way towards him. "There you go, finally listening are we?" I reached out my hand to him, but I had no intention of grabbing his hand. I reached further and gripped his wrist. "I'm nothing like you, I've seen the things you've done whenever I borrowed power from you. You've killed thousands, and ruined so many lives, I can understand why your brother hated you. I don't know what you are or why I have this connection to you but know this, I am nothing like you, this power is mine to use how ever I see fit, and there ain't a damn thing you can do about it!"
All my wounds healed, and I could feel my power surging up again, but I wasn't about to go mindless, I know just what I can do, I know just how I'm gonna kill that bastard. I hit the ground and jumped back up to him. "Homura give me your swords, Yomi your blade!" They threw them to me and I used the black waves to positions the swords where I needed them to be and with both hands I held Yomi's broadsword. I approached him and the snakes appeared again. I was ready this time and grabbed one to swing around to one of the swords rebounding off of it and slashing at Orochi before repeating it slashing away over and over chopping off more and more of the monster. "You damn brat!" Dogen yelled as another one of those beams shot at me. I blocked it with Yomi's sword but the force pushed me away and disarmed me as I started to fall again. "Crap!" I yelled trying to reposition myself. The blast damaged my gauntlets, I couldn't fly right now. I felt someone grab my hand, it was Haruka, "Finish this already Katsuki." She told me and threw me back up, where I was met by Mirai, "Show him who's stronger!" She said letting me use her umbrella as a step where I was then met by Hikage. "Let him taste defeat." She ordered me and launched me to Yomi, "Show us that power you always have before." She wanted and launched me at Homura, "Let that bastard know that he messed with the wrong squad!" She commanded before twisting her body to throw me way up past him.
"Use this to finish it!" She yelled, unsheathing her seventh sword and throwing it to me. I grabbed hold of it and readied my strike right above Orochi and Dogen. "From this moment on, I'm not gonna let the past hold me down, I'm gonna run straight ahead with my friends no matter what," The power of the sword made my own hair light aflame as my power mixed with the crimson flames and they turned blood red. "I'll take down whatever comes my way with every ounce of strength I have, because," I charged at him and swung the blade down cutting through him and Orochi, "That's the future I want!" I finished as the two let out screams and they turned into crimson lights before dispersing and dying. My strength faded from me as I fell from the sky.
"I got you!" Yomi yelled, catching me just in time. "Are you okay?" She asked. I looked up at her as the red night sky turned black and gave her a nod, "Yeah, just a bit winded." She smiled, seemingly relieved, the others joined around us. "That was one hell of a graduation party, don't you think?" Haruka asked. "I guess so," Homura answered, "Now that Dogen's been killed, twice over, Katsuki and I won't be able to live normal lives, we'll be on the run from what remains of Hebijo constantly." She told us. "I think you mean all of us will be." Mirai told her. "She's right, we're all part of the same team, we stick together no matter what." Yomi assured her. "I guess that's fine if you guys are okay with it."
Day was beginning to break, "We better get moving then, don't need anyone to find us now." Hikage suggested and we all agreed with her starting to walk away from the scene. Just then we all heard a couple of familiar voices. "Homura!" "Kacchan!" It was Asuka and Deku. Asuka yelled to Homura, "I'm gonna get stronger so we can have a proper battle next time so, be ready!" Homura didn't say anything and simply held up her fist. Then Deku yelled, "I'm still your friend Kacchan, I will see you again, and when I do, let's hang out just like old times, okay?" I couldn't help but smile at his words, I wanted to say something back but, it was probably best if I didn't, so I turned to him and gave him a thumbs up, and I could tell he knew what I meant by it. 'Sure thing!'
We turned back and continued walking off, not knowing exactly where we were gonna go, but we made our base in a cave we found. By the time we finished night had fallen and the moon was shining bright in the sky. I was think about everything that had happened and what laid ahead, all I knew was one thing. "Katsuki." Yomi called out. "Those fish Hikage caught are almost ready, you better come eat." I nodded, "I'm coming." These five, Homura, Yomi, Hikage, Mirai, and Haruka.
I'll protect them no matter what.
Izuku and Katsuki will meet again at the Shinovi Versus Tournament.
