Third Persons POV
The next day, everyone was getting ready for the masquerade ball tonight. "We're going to have the best time." Phinks smiles in the mirror, as he tries on his suit. "You're starting to sound like a girl who's excited to go on a date." Shalnark chuckles and points out.
"Girly, girl." Feitan cooed in his face. "What was that, you bastards?" Phinks gets angry and starts chasing the two laughing boys, around the building. "Come on guys, behave." Nobunaga ties his hair up in a fancy bun.
"Who are you talking to? You're mostly making all the messes." Franklin says, as he puts on his coat. "Are you sure I'm the only one?" Nobunaga innocently plays out. Franklin went in for a punch, but Nobunaga blocks it.
"Watch your mouth. Or things like this will happen, Nobunaga." Franklin glares down at him. "You were doing the same thing as me, Franklin." They both get mad at each other and start to have a riot. "Does this happen often?" (Y/N) gestures to the boys.
"They're always like this, don't worry." Machi waves it off and fixes the dress, Pakunoda bought for her.
"How do I look, (Y/N)-chan~♡" Hisoka comes walking in, with a black suit. He had none of that ridiculous, clown makeup on. And his hair was down.
"You actually look really decent. You should wear your hair like that more often." (Y/N) was helping Shizuku do her hair. "You think so~?" Hisoka blushed, but kept his weird personality. "Yeah.. You look better this way."
(Y/N) admires that Hisoka looks less of a pedo. "Really~?" He holds her by the chin. "Yeah, I'm glad you don't have to embarrass yourself any longer, by walking around with that clown mess you call an outfit." She smiles and goes back to doing Shizuku's hair.
Hisoka pouts, as Machi smirks and the rest laugh at (Y/N)'s comment. "Be nice, (Y/N)." Chrollo chuckles, as he comes walking in, with his usual disguise. "I'm just being honest, Chrollo." (Y/N) innocently smiles.
"And that's not how you tie a bow." (Y/N) rushes over and fixes Chrollo's bow tie. "Why aren't you in your gown?" Chrollo looks down to see that (Y/N) is still wearing her hunting gear. "I would change, when Hisoka stops following me around." (Y/N) glares at him.
Hisoka smiles and acts like he didn't do anything. Machi sighs and shakes her head. "Like a mutt tailing a woman." Hisoka ignores her and keeps bothering (Y/N). "She loves it when I follow her around. Don't you (Y/N)-chan~" Hisoka combs his hair with his fingers.
(Y/N) gets mad and uppercuts him. "I think you need to learn some manners!" (Y/N) grunts and goes to get changed while she still has the chance. Hisoka gets up from the crater in the floor and dusts off his suit.
He bends over, making his back pop. "Always playing hard to get~♡" Hisoka smiles, but sits back down to heal his back. "Hisoka." Chrollo walks over to him. "Stop fooling around. And make sure to take this mission seriously."
Hisoka smirks and looks up at him. "Of course I will~☆" Chrollo crouches down and puts a finger to Hisoka's forehead. "And stop with the act. (Y/N) is mine." He whispers and pushes him back into the crater.
Chrollo gets up and walks away, as if he didn't say anything. 'Great. As if Illumi wasn't enough to deal with. Now I have Chrollo chasing after her as well.' Hisoka sighs and gets back up from the hole.
(just so you know, this is still a Hisoka x Reader x Illumi story. But Chrollo loves (Y/N) differently.. He cares for her, and wont let any harm come her way. That's why he's jealous of Hisoka.)
~le time skip by: Chrollo's stolen copy of the death note~
"Alright. Is everyone ready to go?" Chrollo stands in front of the door. "We're still waiting on Pakunoda and (Y/N)." Shalnark points down the hallway. "Sorry we kept you all waiting." Pakunoda comes out with her dress on.
"You need help, (Y/N)?" Pakunoda gives (Y/N) her hand. "Yes, thank you." (Y/N) comes walking out of the hall's doorway, with her dress on.
Hisoka was about to say something, but Chrollo beats him to it. "You look beautiful, (Y/N)." He takes her hand and guides her to the front door. "Alright everyone, our job is to steal the blood ring from the guy in the photo."
Chrollo takes out the picture and shows them again. "And Make sure to blend in well. And (Y/N), make sure to stay away from him." Chrollo smiles and the troupe sets off to the city.
~le time skip~
Everyone puts their masks on and walks inside. Chrollo spots the target and signals everyone to blend in and wait for his signal. "Want to dance?" Chrollo smiles at (Y/N). She smiles and takes his hand, as they walk to the dance floor. Hisoka was about to step in but spots...
Illumi's POV
My target is some guy with an eye patch. When I got to the party, I put my mask on and waited for the right moment. But I felt too many familiar auras in the building. I look around and I spot my little brother, with his friend.
I scoff and look around some more. There at the entrance, I spot Hisoka. I walk towards him. "What are you doing here?" I ask. He looks at me and smirks. "I'm just here for the party, what else?"
I growl, then point to where I spotted Killua and Gon. He looks that way and furrows his eyebrows. "What are they doing here?" He asks, I just shrug my shoulders and continued a conversation.
Killua's POV
I felt somebody staring at me and I look to see that my brother and Hisoka are here. "What's wrong, Killua?" Gon asks, I point to where Illumi and Hisoka are. "People in masks.?" I smack my hand against my face.
Hisoka's POV
I ask Illumi what he's doing here. "I'm here to assassinate that man over there." He points to the man, who is also our target. "Funny coincidence, the Phantom Troupe is here to retrieve a valuable possession from him as well." I chuckle at him.
He puts a finger up to his chin. "That's strange, I can feel someone else's aura. But I can't seem to remember who." Illumi looks around at all the guests, till he spots Chrollo and (Y/N). "She's here too?"
He growls, seeing that (Y/N) is dancing with Chrollo. 'Too many familiar faces.. This could be an issue..'
