Sara's pov
I woke up with my alarm ringing continuously..I have a long day ahead..not 'I' its 'we'..yes kartik and I have so many interviews lined up today as the promotions are on full swing of LOVE AAJ KAL..The movie which is everything for us..
Today we have Rajeev masand,Faridoon sir and Rudrani's interviews to cover..
We know this is going to be tough..everyone is so interested to get some news about mine and kartik's relationship status..so that they can be the news breakers..
We need time..we will take it slowly..all I can do is keep mum or close my eyes..but everytime I can't dodge the questions coming my way..I am gud at keeping secrets but my hero can't do the same..If I give nod he will shout it to the very next moment about our thing..keeping this in mind I called Ayesha my manager to know what all are charted for the day.
After running an hour in treadmill..I was all fresh from in and out..after my daily routine..I was all ready to go to the sets..I called kartik on my way to the set..if he ready then we can go together..and sir took my phone in the second ring..
Kartik: hello madam..where are you, you didn't reply to my message..what happened
Sara: hello sir..sorry I didn't check my message yaar..didn't get time to check..I will check the message later..now tell me..are you ready we can go to the shooting location together..I will pick you on the way..
Kartik : give me 5 min I am all ready..I will come down.
You just wait near the gate..
Sara : ok..( and I cut the call,clearly knowing that he will not be ready in 5 min..so I thought to go up to his home and bring him with me..if I am there..I will keep him on his toes..so we wont be late for interviews)
I went up to his flat..ma opened the door welcomed me inside with big smile and a warm hug..
Mala maa: beta..how are you?? Kartik didn't say that u are coming home..
Sara: I didn't tell him that I am coming here maa..he told me that he will be ready in 5 min.
And I dnt believe his punctuality..so came up to take him with me..
Mala maa: all the best ..he is in his room..me and papa are going to mandir..take care..
( I hugged her and bid bye to papa as well.
After that I went to my hero's room..the door was locked but he was not in the bed, so I came to the conclusion that he is taking bath..instead of calling him and informing that I am here..I thought to wait outside..suddenly I had the urge to go up to his wardrobe and select his clothes for today..priyanka his stylist kept 3 options ready for the day..and I tuk the one which coordinated my dress..white black nd yellow here and there some neon..and a blue denims..I was so engrossed in selecting his outfit I didn't knew that kartik is out from his shower..I realized only when he hugged me from behind)
Kartik: wow..what should I say..u surprised me by giving a hush hush visit or I surprised you by hugging you like this??
Sara: I m not surprised Mr..no other man in the world has the audacity to come and hug me like this..and I came here coz I know you..your 5 min is equal normal 30 min for any other person..so go get ready fast we have a long day ahead..
Kartik: ok.madam,as you say..your wish my command..This feels so right princess..you being in my arms..wearing what you have chose for me..I get a wifey wifey feeling coming from you..
( all I could do was blushing after I heard wifey from his mouth..but I covered it with my nok jhoke comments)
Sara: it's not the time to romance mr..get ready and we will leave to the location..maa packed your breakfast..so you can have on the way..
Kartik: ji hukum..
Sara: kartik..you know na..today rajeev sir..faridoon sir and rudrani will try there max to make their interviews exclusive and breaking..but we have to act all cool and answer..
Kartik: I know dear..but sometimes I fail miserably when the topic is about your place in my life..how would I love to say it to the world that you are mine ....and only mine.
(After all the romantic talks we left for the interviews..Mala maa made some thepla for kartik's breakfast..I am on diet but kartik made me eat one bite from his hand..I cudnt help but imagine how lucky I am to have him in my life..we always have our cute nok jhoks..but every other things will fade from the love we have for each other..
Finally we reached the studio..we went to our respective trailers to get the final touch up done..now we are sitting opposite rajeev sir..He says he is a late bloomer cause he didn't knew about the ship name SARTIK which our well wishers gave us.
Sara: we are very lucky for the love we get from them..even before seeing us on screen or even before a picture of us together,these people are rooting for us.the only thing we have in mind is that we can't disappoint them.
Kartik: I agree to what sara said..we are thankful to them.
Rajeev: The movie got a 50-50 reaction from the audience..some trolled some liked ..what's ur take on this?
Sara : I was so worried but he was all confident and asked me not to worry thinking about a small shot..I take all the criticism at the right dose..will improve keeping that in mind..
Kartik: I don't know everyone said that about that particular scene..if you watch the full movie you will come to know that the scene will fall into right places
Rajeev : so many rumours are there..sara and kartik seeing each other, then they had a breakup. Now kartik is dating ananya..will it affect the relationship btw sara and ananya..so how did u take this musical chair rumours ?
Kartik : sir, I didn't put up this chair..its just out there..I have never spoken about my personal life..I also read this..other than that I don't know anything about this..now going ahead when I do dostana 2..if I go out with a guy for coffee people will say that something is there btw us..
Sara: rumours are part and parcel of this industry..people who are not even watching movie is also interested in knowing who is dating who..we are here to act ..tats our job, ultimately our work and movie should speak..other than that all rumours and gossips are fine.
Rajeev : the airplane video you had put on insta made everyone fall in love with you
Kartik: so did I
Sara: what
Kartik: so did I
Sara: no tell them what you told me really..
Kartik: mic
( finally the interview with rajeev masand was done..I was little tensed after this interview..he throws some words at u ruthlessly..I looked at kartik and he knew what is going on my mind, he just hugged me..I laid my head on his chest..unspoken words did speak a lot..I was all ok till the time we reached for rudrani's interview)
Rudrani: finally the most talked couple in the country is here..we have sartik with us ..
Kartik we have spoken so much about you in all his interviews..
Sara: you have ( I acted all surprised)
Rudrani: yes on all your interviews we spoken about kartik as well..
Now let's just talk about the wrap up post you have put up on Instagram. Let me read out some lines..these lines have an undertone of romance
Sara: there was an undertone of romance in everything that we were doing.
( I knew rudrani will come up with all these posts ..but I never knew that I would have to justify what I have written..what do they think that by roasting us we will declare our relationship status..no celebrity will disclose their relationship status unless they are atleast 50% sure about their future plans..rudrani even didn't spare kartik from this..she asked him about my bday post..he was so in mood that day he posted the pic..he can't hide his feelings like that..he did what he felt was right..he is not someone who will shy away from speaking their relationship status..I am very new to this industry..I have lot more to learn and prove..after that wen I think that I can take the big plunge, then I will tell the world that he is mine..eventhough kartik is ready to make our relationship public..but he respects my decision..and I think he want to disclose this more because of his link up rumours with his co actors.
Interviews are done and we have to launch meherma today..we are on the way..event traffic is taking a toll on us..we are stuck in traffic..but everything has a positive side too..we get to spend some alone time with each other..without even driver..we watched meherma on phone..I am watching it with the clips for the first time..
We reached the college very late..but the crowd was so welcoming..after we finished the song launch kartik took me to his flat which he bought ,were he used to stay as PG..this is our new hide out spot..we both planned the interior.. it feels like this is our small paradise..little things we have selected ourselves are kept..a small 2 bhk home..but very calm and beautiful.. we have kept some extra cloths here,whenever we needed to change or some unexpected things come up..kartik asked me to change and fresh up..he went to the other room to freshen up..after a quick hot shower..I am all relaxed..and I can see kartik already in the living area on his recliner sofa with a coffee mug..and my coffee is waiting for me..I went there and took the coffee from the center table only to find him catching my wrist indicating to sit on his lap..all we wanted to be is be in each other's arms..with no words.. no noise..only our heartbeat matching the other..
