I. Love. Him. So. Much. My dumbass wrote this in a day pretty much because I was so excited to write for him again.

"I BROUGHT DONUTS AND TAKOYAKI!" You cheered, kicking open the door to your training institute. Fatgum gave you a large smile and patted his belly. "(Y/n) you didn't have too!" He chuckled as you sat the food down.

"Psh, it's no problem. Plus, I'm assuming you both haven't eaten?" You said opening the box of donuts and taking one for yourself.

"Glazed?" You softly asked Tamaki who was sitting in silence beside you. He gave you a small nod as you grabbed his donut, putting it on his plate along with some takoyaki. "Here." You put it in front of him and gave him a napkin as he quietly ate, listening to you and Fatgum chatter on about how productively you would be using the day, thoughts roaming his mind all the while.

You didn't KNOW today was going to be okay. How could you even begin to plan the day with the fact that you didn't know what would happen?

"Tamaki?" Fatgum questioned, snapping his fingers. The shy boy looked away in shame. "S-sorry I wasn't listening..." You rubbed his back and swallowed the last bite of your donut. "Hey, it's okay! You didn't miss anything."

He shuddered at the touch of your hand, not because he hated it, but because it was relaxing...almost too relaxing. Whenever he was around you it felt like that. You weren't in the Big Three, but you were definitely strong and he admired you for that.

"So Tamaki and I are taking the south side of downtown today?" His ears perked up as his back straightened noticing you had pulled your hand away as it now rested on your hip.

"Mhm, is that okay with you Tamaki?" Fatgum questioned.

"There might be villians..."

"Tamaki, we will have each other!" You gave him a reassuring smile as he stood up and shook his head, walking to throw his trash away. "We could still die."

"We could always die! If we spend out live's worrying about that we won't be able to do anything. Tamaki, I trust you with my life!" You held a determined stare on the boy before he leaned against a wall and his face went dark.

"Too much pressure..." he mumbled.

You sighed, face falling with it. "I'll uhm...I'll just take the south side by myself."

"(Y/n) wai-" before Fatgum could protest, you slammed the door shut, leaving the two boys in silence. Tamaki turned his head to look at where you had just been, and then looking at Fatgum who stood up and threw the trash away.

"That was a compliment my boy." Fatgum directed to Tamaki who began to turn around. "She trusts you with her life. Not a lot of people do that these days."

Sighing Tamaki swallowed. "Where are her rounds?" He asked watching as Fatgum nonchalantly pointed to an area on the large map. "Thats where she would start."

"Thanks..." Tamaki said, throwing on his hood and heading out the door.

He walked along the still dark streets, considering it was 5:45am and the sun didn't begin to rise for another fifteen minutes. It was quiet as he walked, listening for any unusual sounds while also looking for you.

Tamaki's thoughts slowly drifted to his crippling anxiety and bottled up depression. The constant state of sadness and fear he felt was undoubtedly horrendous, it crushed him every day, no matter where he went.

Many labelled him as just 'shy' making it even harder for him to find people that he felt genuinely cared. Everything sounded fake, forced almost, as if no one was paying attention and were just hearing...not listening.

He walked for another 10 solid minutes until he heard faint shuffling behind him. "Tamaki? Didn't expect to see you out here so soon." He turned at the sound of your voice, a small smile coating your lips. "I figured you would have joined Fatgum..." You said stepping closer to him.

"I-I'm sorry-" you put a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, don't worry about it. I should have thought about how much what I said would weigh on you." His eyes softened as he let out a small whimper.

His gaze landed on your face. Your familiar face that, alongside Mirio's, had been there for eternity. He had met you in 3rd grade, but you always cheered him on and would always know just what to say, even if you didn't say anything.

"Do you wanna go watch the sunrise?" You asked, hand falling from his shoulder, noticing his lingering stare. He sucked in a breath and nodded, earning a gentle laugh out of you. "Come on, let's go."

He followed you through part of downtown, onto the top of a building, and by the ledge, taking a seat next to you as the sun began to rise. "So, this may be a bad time to bring this up, but are you ready to meet class 1-A tomorrow?"

Tamaki froze in place, shivers racking his body as he stared at the ground below. You frowned and placed a hand on his, noticing his face flush a crimson red. "Listen, I know that Mirio is going to be there, but if there is anything I could do to help then just let me know."

He could feel his heart thud in his ears as he glanced at you from the corners of his eyes. "Could you be there to just...uhm...help?" You grinned ear to ear, happy that he just asked you to help without feeling bad or remorseful. "Of course! Anything for you Tama."

"The sun..." Tamaki said watching the golden orb rise from the skyline. You turned your head, noticing as the sky began to grow pink and orange, a beautiful mix of colors that could take anyone's breath away. "Time for you to eat it." You joked nudging his shoulder as you stood up, him following suit.

He let out a slight chuckle, only for the empty feeling to return inside him again as he sat beside you. "Tamaki...if you don't want to talk about it, I completely understand but...are you okay?"

Your voice was soft as it rang in his ears. Many people in his life had asked him the same question and he always had the same reply.

A nod.

But for some reason, he couldn't do it. He was frozen, staring straight ahead as his shaky breaths were all that could be heard. He felt dizzy, he didn't know what to do. He wanted to cry and wail while at the same time he wanted to give you a reassuring smile.

His head pounded, mind becoming blurry as thousands of voices rang in his ears, until he felt your touch. You wrapped your arms around him and held him close to you.

"You don't need to say anything Tamaki. It's okay."

His breath hiccuped in his throat as he pulled you into him, hiding his face in your neck while you stood there in silence, a soft breeze whipping around as the sun's glow became more apparent. "I don't need to know why or how. I just want you to feel safe, comfortable...happy."

You stroked his back gently in a repetitive pattern as his indigo hair brushed against your cheek. "Y-...I-I..."
His lanky fingers gripped onto your outfit, as he tried to tell you something with all his might, but his apprehension reeled his words back down his throat.

"Tamaki, after school tomorrow, can I take you out somewhere?" You pulled back from him and watched as his ears twitched and face turned pink. "Wha-I...I'm confused...why would you w-want to go with me...anywhere?" You raised your eyebrows and removed his hood, raising his protective eyewear in the process.

"Because, I want to spend time with you outside of school and work...since Fatgum has us scheduled on a break tomorrow, I figured we could do something fun!" He nervously looked at the ground and nibbled on his lower lip.

"I would-uhm...like that." He allowed himself to admit, making a part of himself become proud of his own small action. "Yay! I'm happy you wanna go! What are some things you are interested in?"

You bounced pulling out your phone, ready to take notes. "Oh...I-I don't really know." You squinted your eyes at him. "Do you not know or do you feel too embarrassed to say it? Tama you could tell me you liked to ride unicorns for a living and I wouldn't care. I just want to know what YOU like."

He stood in thought for a moment.

What did he like?

He liked the sunset, the way it signified the end of the day and a beginning of something new, all the while its gorgeous colors spread across the sky for everyone to see. He liked the rivers, how the glistening water would calmly flow consistently no matter what chaos the day had brought.

He loved the trees, the birds, nature. How it all coexisted together in a sometimes brutal harmony, but stayed balanced and serene.

Serene. Beautiful. You.

He looked down at you. You were typing away ideas on your phone as you gave him a moment to think. He studied you, much like he had before, memorizing every detail of your face, the way you had a small smile tugging at the corner of your lips as you planned tomorrow's events.

You were someone who cared. Someone who listened, a person who wanted to be around him, even if he was different. Your eyes lifted to meet his, breath halting in his lungs.

Tamaki didn't look away, he kept staring. He couldn't believe what his heart was telling him, he liked you. For years he thought it was some cruel mind game, that he was becoming attached because he felt as if you were the only thing there...but you weren't.

Mirio. Nejire. Fatgum. His friends and family.

His feelings weren't a lie. They weren't a cover up for what he was lacking, they were a sign for what he had.

"I like nature!" He squeaked out rather loudly making your eyes widen in surprise. "Nature? Like boat rides and zoo's?" "Y-yeah..." His timid demeanor returned as he watched you take notes. "Oooh! The zoo just got a remodel! We could go tomorrow!"

The corners of his lips curved upward in the slightest bit, giving you the only conformation you needed. You put away your phone, looking to your side. "Shoot. We probably actually need to start our jobs now." You said stretching your back before walking back up to him and pulling the glasses back on and the hood over his head.

"There. All suited up! Now, let's go kick some butt!" You put out your fits for a fistbump which he carefully returned. "BAM!" You yelled making an explosion. "....boom." Tamaki whispered, allowing a giggle to escape you.

"Come on Tama. Let's go!"

Tamaki watched you from behind as he followed you closely. This time, through his anxiety, depression, and fear, there was a piercing light of happiness.

You.

And no matter what, he REFUSED to let that slip away.

"(Y/n)! You are joining us as we go to class I-A?" Mirio cheered, noticing you were also pulled out of class. "Yeah! Tamaki asked me to help him out so here I am!" You walked closely to Tamaki, rubbing your shoulder against his arm attempting to calm the nervous boy down.

"We are almost there, are you ready!?" Mirio practically shoved his friend into you in excitement, making Tamaki frantically apologize. Mirio raised a brow as he watched Tamaki calm his nerves as he made light conversation with you.

Mirio immediately caught on and smirked, shaking his head playfully and stopping at the door. "Deep breaths and everything will be alright!" He commented toward the other two, turning and opening the door.

Tamaki grabbed your hand, almost cutting off the circulation as he squeezed it tightly. You walked into the classroom, standing off to the side as much as you could while he relentlessly held your hand.

As Mirio spoke, the admiration on the kids faces was apparent, looking up to the pretty much pro heros. "....and this is Tamaki Amajiki!" Mirio cheered, causing Tamaki to freeze in place. He turned around and slammed his head against the wall, refusing to move.

Your arm was twisted around him as he still held onto you. "Tama, can we switch hands?" He quickly let go of your other hand and grabbed onto the more convenient one. "No matter how hard I try and see them as potatoes...it only works for their heads, I can still see their bodies."

The students watched as you rubbed his back, Neijire taking over and showering the students in questions. "It's okay Tama. You're not shaking, that's already an improvement!" You whispered, moving yourself underneath him and distracting him from the stares that covered his back.

"I have everything planned out for today after school okay? It's going to be fun!" He gave you a weak smile and loosened his grip on your hand, running his thumb across the smooth skin. You heart fluttered as he looked into your eyes, resting his forehead on yours.

"WHO WANTS TO FIGHT ME!"

You both turned your heads instantaneously as the blond male challenged the whole class to fight him. Tamaki intertwined his fingers with yours slowly, hoping to All Might that you wouldn't pull away...and you didn't.

"They don't know what they are getting themselves into." You said watching the class begin to stand and head out. Tamaki sighed, standing up straight and rubbing his eyes with the heel of his free hand. "He has perfected his quirk. They don't know what they are doing."

You tugged him a bit as he walked alongside you, still holding your hand as you both made light conversation. "So...uhm, what do you have planned for today?" You sent him a sweet smile, "You'll see. I promise you will love it!"

To be completely honest, you were a nervous wreck. You didn't want to overwhelm him or make him feel like you hadn't been paying attention for years on end, because you HAD.

Once you arrived at the gym building, you and Tamaki stood off to the side and watched as Mirio began to work his magic (Tamaki planted his face on the wall again because he couldn't bear to watch). You smirked as you watched the students become more and more confused as time passed, occasionally shielding your eyes from Mirio as he became a bit...exposed.

"Is it over?" Tamaki mumbled peeking at you from the corner of his eye. "Almost, he just has to take out the close range kids and then he's done." Tamaki whined, screwing his eyes shut once again, feeling your arms wrap around him.

"Hey, are you excited?" He lifted his head off the wall, taking his hands out of his pockets and holding you to him. "Yeah...it's been a while since it was just y-you and I." His fingers played with your hair as you stood there, relaxing in his arms and closing your eyes. "Mhmm." Humming in content, Tamaki's heart quickened its pace once he rested his head on your shoulder.

"(Y/n)...on the rooftop yesterday when you said you wanted me to feel happy...I-I already feel happy when-when I am with you."

Now it was your turn to freeze. You sucked in a breath and clutched him to you, he heaved a sigh of relief, glad to have finally finished his thought from yesterday.

"You make me happy too Tamaki. A lot." You smiled into his chest with a light laugh, his heart swelling a thousand times its size, feeling as if it would explode at any moment.

"Love birds! you ready to go back to class?" The small hairs on the back of Tamaki's neck stood up as his friend's voice boomed through the gym, all eyes falling on both of you while you held each other. Tamaki sunk to the ground, cradling his knees in his arms as he rocked back and forth muttering words to himself.

You watched as the boy melted out of your arms onto the floor and turned your head to Mirio, giving him a look making him rub the back of his neck nervously and shooing the children into a group to explain his quirk.

You crouched down and ran your fingers through Tamaki's hair (which was really soft and smelt like vanilla) as he slowly came out of his ball. "Hey buddy. The kids are with Mirio, do you wanna head to lunch since it starts soon?"

"Y-yeah...I'm hungry." His stomach growled making you giggle. "I heard." You helped him up and took his hand in yours, heading to the cafeteria and being the first in line.

"Ladies first..." He said quietly. You gave him a thankful smile and ordered your food grabbing your tray, waiting for Tamaki who gave small smiles to the lunch people as they put his food on his plate.

"It's so quiet in here with no one else." You commented walking with him as you saw Mirio approaching down the hall with Neijre. "You both got a head start on lunch!" He laughed, shooting you both a smile. "We will meet you outside so we can eat!"

The bell rang, Tamaki shooting him a quick nod before speeding up his pace as he headed outside, as to not be trampled by other students. You took a seat beside him at the round table while the cool breeze flapped your hair around.

"Pleh!-" You said swatting it out of your face with an odd expression from eating your own hair. "What is that?" Tamaki asked, pointing to one of the items on your plate while you sat down next to him. "The watermelon?" Your confused face said it all.

Has he never had watermelon!?!

He nodded his head. Immediatley grabbing a piece, you handed it to him. He took a bite, your hand dove under his chin with a napkin to save his white shirt from the red drip stains. His eyes lit up as he chewed, a smile crossing his lips. "I like this."

You laughed wiping off some of the juice that rolled down his chin and handing him another napkin. "I'm glad you like it! Just use a napkin next time." He flushed after you let out a small chuckle with your words.

"(Y/N)!" Mirio yelled to you as students began to come out of the building and take their seats. "I couldn't figure out what I wanted to eat so I grabbed a little of everything!"

You eyed his plate that was pretty much a mountain. He wasn't kidding at all. "T-that's a lot." Tamaki flinched as his friends' tray clashed against the table with a 'bang'. "I'll eat it all, don't worry!" He patted his stomach as he took a seat next to Tamaki, starting light conversation.

"(Y/n)! Let me show you this video!" Nejire leaned over to you holding her phone and lending you an earbud as you watched. Tamaki took note of the smile that rose on your lips as you began to laugh. You looked absolutely stunning, even just sitting there. Mirio elbowed his friend and leaned into his ear, "You two look good together."

With a pat on the back, Tamaki turned once again to look at you. Your face was stuffed with food as you practically scarfed it down, looking up at him you covered your mouth, "Hm?" You hummed on question. He gave you a soft smile. "N-nothing."

______________________

Tamaki Stood outside your dorm nervously, fiddling with the neck of his sweater as he waited for you. His ears twitched as he heard your door close, his eyes trailing up and seeing your signature, but beautiful smile. "Tama, you look great." You gestured to his grey turtleneck and light jeans.

"You look really pretty!" He spurted out, slapping his hand over his mouth and looking to the floor.

Stupid! Stupid! She is going to think that is weird and now you just ruined everything!

You blushed, grabbing his free hand and giving it a light squeeze, "Thank you, it means a lot."

"Oh...of course." Clearly taken aback by your response, you changed the topic. "Shall we?" You asked with a smirk.

You had the whole rest of the day planned out, but first stop? The zoo. You were quite nervous that he wouldn't like it as you stood on the railway, fearing that he would hate it but he wouldn't tell you. However once I saw the gates your fears dissipated, for his eyes went wide and his hand latched onto yours. "Do you like it?" He nodded biting his lip. "Oh thank the lord..." You muttered with an exhale.

"So, what do you wanna do first?"

"Can we feed the giraffes?" His excitement was apparent as he tried his best not to tug you along as you handed the lady your tickets. "Yup! To the giraffes!" You walked hand-in-hand with Tamaki through the zoo, stopping and looking at all the cute animals and (of course) feeding the giraffes. You went to the petting zoo watching as Tamaki fed some deer while he sat next to you, smiling once he caught you looking at him.

"I saved the best for last." You smiled, leading him to a large building that was blocked in by double doors. "Cover your eyes." You grabbed his free hand as he sealed his eyes shut, listening as the squeaking doors opened and closed.

"Open."

He uncovered his eyes to reveal thousands upon thousands of butterflies. "Wow..." Tamaki said breathlessly before turning to the sound of your laugh. There was a butterfly on your shoulder, "I think he likes me. I'll name him Steven."

You carefully watched where you stepped as you explored the giant area. You both sat on a bench, Steven still on your shoulder while Tamaki put his hand on your knee. "This is amaz-Oh..." A large white butterfly landed on his hand making you grin. He lifted it from your knee examining it closely as a few more butterflies landed on you both.

He chuckled, "They tickle." His voice was soft as he looked toward you, noticing you were looking up at the golden sun peeking through the glass roof watching the flurry of colors float around effortlessly. The green trees towered above you both as you sat there, the crisp air from the ventilation coming through clearly. Tamaki sucked in a breath, looking around for a moment before focusing back towards you.

"I-I like you (Y/n)."

You turn toward him startled. You couldn't believe what you were hearing. Did he just admit that to you out loud? "(Y-Y/n)? I-I'm sorry...I shouldn't have-"

You placed a quick kiss on his cheek. "I like you too...if it wasn't obvious." You playfully rolled your eyes with a giggle.

"We are pretty much on a date right now but...if you would like to make it official, we can." His indigo eyes glistened in the rays of sun as your words graced his ears. For once, he quickly processed, fearing that if he didn't say it fast enough you would regret what you had said.

"Yes! I-I mean, if you want to..." Your hand went up to his face, feeling his skin burn on contact. "I wouldn't ask if I didn't want to Tama." A butterfly landed on his nose causing you to snort. "Awww, that looks adorable."

"I'm going cross-eyed." He commented as his vision wavered in and out of focus. You pulled out your phone and took a picture, your face dropping when you saw the time. "CRAP! WE GOTTA GO!" You stood up, taking Steven (reluctantly) off your shoulder and setting him on a leaf.

Tamaki followed suit, shooing butterflies gently off him with a small apology as he followed you to your next location.

"A boat ride?" He asked as you both got your tickets checked. You smiled excitedly. "Not just any boat ride, it is around the city and we are eating dinner too!"

Tamaki coughed violently. How much did she pay for this!?!

"Come on Tama, lets get seats by the window!" You pulled him behind you as you walked through the boat that resembled a mini yacht. "Uhm, how did you afford this?" He asked worried that you spent WAYYYY to much on him.

"Oh, family knows some people." You shrugged. "Here!" You pointed to a quaint little table with two seats right by the window, the sun slowly lowering as more and more passengers boarded.

"The water looks stunning." Tamaki looked out the window and to the water that the boat rested on, feeling it start to gently move as the boat ride began. A gentle breeze slipped through the open doors, as waiters and waitresses began to walk around.

"Your menus." The staff member said, handing you both the folding menus before leaving you to decide. "Mmm, it all looks good." You read each and every option, noticing Tamaki was doing the same in silence. "So Mr. Man, what looks good to you?"

His eyes batted up to you and back down to the menu. "The Salmon sounds really good....but it is expensive."

"Don't worry about it, the meal comes with the ride, so it is already taken care of. Pretend the prices aren't there." You closed your menu, deciding on your order, watching as Tamaki gently placed it down as soon as the waiter approached you.

After taking your orders and reappearing minutes later with them in tow, you both ate in a comfortable silence, Tamaki's eyes looking up to meet yours every once and awhile.

Once you were finished you wiped your mouth and looked up at him as the waiter took your plates. "Hey, come with me." You stood up, Tamaki following behind quickly as you led him out onto the deck of the ship.

The sun was like honey as the sky was turning orange, the sun slowly melting into the horizon as the sounds of the river beneath you filled your senses.

"I hope you enjoyed today...I know it is simple, but I really like you and I wanted to do something to make you realize how good life is."

You held his hand, his face turning toward yours gently and looking at you to seemingly see if you were still real.

"This-this is real right? You. Me. Us?..." His voice cracked. You close your eyes with a smile, bringing your lips to his. His hands shook as they found your hips, holding you to him as he deepened the kiss.

You pulled away and ran a hand through his hair. "There is no way this is fake Tamaki. I am right here."

He rested his head on your shoulder, feeling the chill breeze fluff his hair gently.

"Thank you (Y/n). You are my true happiness."
