Nico's POV
I sighed and followed her to the mall. We found a shop that sells gowns and tuxes which is owned by a twenty-two year old Venus kid, and her husband who is a son of Mercury.
"Nico, I want you to be the one to choose Reyna's gown. And while you're at it go get you and Ken a couple of tuxedos."
I went to a corner where there were a bunch of purple gowns and dresses. I mean come on, purple for Reyna, very Roman-ly. I looked through the gowns and I was nervous, I didn't know anything about fashion especially gowns. I looked at every single one, until one caught my eyes. It was a purple gown,the same shade as her preator robes, it had silver cloth on the part of her chest, it had only one strap which was on the left shoulder and no strap on the right. I suddenly imagined Reyna in it, smiling and I smiled myself.
"Hey Nico, you got that for Reyna?" Silvia's voice brought me back to reality.
"Oh, I'm not sure. I don't know anything about fashion and stuff." I admitted.
"Let me see." Silvia took the gown and examined it then she smiled. "Nico, it's beautiful. Let's get this for Reyna."
I nodded and saw some blue gowns and dresses and another one caught my eye.
"Hey Silvia, you mentioned that I could suggest any gown for you, right?"
"Yes."
I showed her a simple black and blue (It's WHITE AND GOLD) dress with long sleeves and stopped right below her knees. She gasped and looked at me.
"You don't like it? It's just a suggestion you can choose another one." I started panicking.
"Oh my gods Nico, it's beautiful. I love it, you didn't tell me you're good at choosing gowns and dresses." She teased me. "It's just my size! What a coincidence."
"Okay, now let's get a couple of tuxes."
We moved to another corner where there was a sign that said, Men. I looked through some and found a simple and ordinary tux that was black and had a purple tie. Silvia and I looked for Ken's size and got two of the best looking ones. We had to choose over one which was completely black, like mine or one that had black pants and coat and the rest was silvery grey/gray. (whatever or however you want to spell it.) We chose the second one and went to the cashier.
"You're on a quest and we know it'll eventually get ruined because of monsters, you get it for free." The child of Venus said, turns out her name is Stacy.
We thanked Stacy and walked down the mall then an Iris message appeared.
"Hey Silvia! Nico!" Yzabella said. "I need to make this fast since you're in public. Silvia's got visitors and Reyna and I have agreed to wear rubber shoes instead of sandals." Got that?"
"Roger, who are my visitors?" Silvia asked.
"They wouldn't tell but Reyna seems to know them." She shrugged.
"Alright, we're going back there." I swept my hand through the Iris message and we hurried to an arts and crafts store, grabbed a few masks and got out of the mall. We headed back to the hotel and made it to the girl's room with Silvia's visitors. 'No not them.' I pleaded. 'What do they want?'
Ken's POV
"Thalia!" Silvia smiled.
"Could anyone please tell me who in the Hades are they?" I was impatient. They've been here hours ago and they wouldn't introduce themselves.
"Don't be rude Ken. They're the hunters." Silvia hissed, so now it's my fault? I don't know why in Hades' underpants they're here, but I have an idea why they are- to recruit more hunters.
"So now it's my fault that I'm getting impatient and that I just snapped at the hunters?!" I was getting aggressive.
"Ken, shut up and get your temper down." Silvia said calmly but she gave me a daughter of Hades death glare.
"Fine." I grumbled and crashed on the couch.
"So Silvia, have you made up your mind?" Thalia asked her.
"Wait what?! What's going on here?" Nico asked as if he was fearing the answer.
"Nico, they invited me to join the hunt." Silvia explained quietly.
Nico's eyes widened and looked at the ground fists clenched.
"Nico, I'm sorry but it's what I want." Silvia said her eyes closed. "Thalia, yes, I've made up my mind."
"What is your decision?" Thalia gently asked.
"I'm sorry, but I decline your offer." She confidently replied. "I hope you don't get mad."
Silvia turned down her offer? It was like yesterday she would talk about Greek mythology and saying 'When I get the chance, I'll be a hunter.'
"It's alright I understand." Thalia said.
"Are you sure Silvia?" Another hunter stepped infront of everyone.
"Maricris?!" Yzabella, Silvia and I shouted.
"Yes, it's me." She smiled.
"Cris, I'm sure about this. I'm sorry but I don't want to be a hunter." Silvia grinned.
"A year has passed and she still calls me Cris." Maricris sighed. "How about you Yz?"
"Why does everyone call me Yz?! Oh and, nah, I'm good with being a camper."
"Okay, well we'd better be going." Thalia started to turn.
"Oh wait! Take this." Reyna gave her a backpack. "In it are lots of quivers and arrows. The Apollo cabin and Hephaestus or Vulcan cabin wanted you to have them and gave them to me in case I ran into you guys."
"Thank you, well goodbye." And the hunters left.
I turned and saw a very shocked looking Nico.
"Hey man, you okay?" I waved my hand in front of his face.
"Did she just-"
"Yes Nico, I just did now close your mouth and let's have dinner I'm hungry." Silvia pinched his cheek.
"Come on, I'm hungry too. How about McDonald's?" Nico suggested.
"To an Italian McDonald's we go." Silvia got Reyna and Yzabella and we headed straight to McDonald's.
