It was the day of homecoming and Nomi and I were in my room getting ready. I was surprised about how good we looked because we started looking for dresses so late and we truly bodied the dresses we had on and we were somewhat matching.
"We look good girl" Nomi squealed
"Hell yeah" I said as we both looked in my wall mirror

We were all supposed to meet at my nigga apartment but we was running late. Typical girl shit
"We on the way" I said answering Roddy's call before he could even say anything to me.
"Hurry up damn" he said
"What did I just tell you" I said
"What the fuck did I just tell you. I don't know who you talking to" he bucked
"Obviously you the person I'm on the phone with" I mumbled
"You stay saying slick shit speak with yo chest" he said and I just hung up the phone cause he was aggravating me.
"Stop calling me" I said picking up the phone and hung up again not giving him a chance to speak and I put my phone on do not disturb cause I knew he was gonna call again.
"Yo you so aggravating" Nomi said laughing
"Nah he aggravating" I said getting out the car and made my way through his unlocked door.
"What it do babyyyy" I said sitting on his lap laughing
"Get off me man" he said tryna get me off so I straddled his lap and he got up.
"What's yo problem nigga simmer down" I said getting off him cause I was falling
"You my problem jit"
"How? What did I do?" I said and he just ignored me and walked out the door. We all hopped in the car and I decided to hop in the backseat with Nomi since he was mad. Once we got there we found a table and sat down. Nomi and Chris went to go dance and now it was just me and him. I looked over his way and he looked mad like he ain't want to be here.
"Roddyyy" I said grabbing his hand and he snatched it away
"Oh word? Cool" I said getting up and made my way to the dance floor cause he was not finna ruin my night.
Once I found Nomi and Chris swag surfin came on and everybody started to get lit as more people started to come towards the dance floor.
Once the song was done I looked back towards Roddy and he was talking to some female and as I made my way towards them he smirked.
"Hey" I said to the girl as I sat on his lap.
"Hey" she said dryly
"My bad did I interrupt something" I said looking between them
"No actually I was just about to leave" the girl said walking away
"Get off me Dee" he said once it was just us
"No" I told him
"Get off me man"
"What is wrong with you? You're really hurting my feelings" I told him truthfully
"I don't give a fuck about your feelings right now Dee I don't feel like talking" he said and I got up and walked outside cause I felt the urge to cry. I wasn't a crier like I don't even remember the last time I cried.
"You good?" Some boy said walking up to me and I cracked a fake smile before nodding my head yes
"Why you outside the party inside babygirl" he said and I just shrugged
"Yo I don't know what got you feeling down but you too pretty to be all sad and shit this is homecoming don't let something small ruin the rest of your night" he said and I felt tears fall from eyes
"You're right and thank you" I said wiping them away
"Please excuse for being a hot mess" I laughed and he laughed too
"You're good baby girl and you're so welcome" he smiled
"Good yeah I'ma go to the bathroom and fix myself up" I said walking inside
"Yeah alright I'ma see you in there baby girl " he yelled
"Who the fuck was that?" Roddy said out of nowhere scaring me
"What you jumping for? You must be doing shit you not supposed to be doing" he said and I just sighed
"Ohh so now you wanna talk" I said
"Answer my question"
"He's nobody I don't even know his name"
"So what y'all was talking about?"
"The fact that I need to not let you ruin my night"
"The fact that you talking to other niggas about our shit is so crazy to me. You know I could of embarrassed yo ass in front of that bitch that was talking to me but I didn't cause I don't like people in our business but shit do you" he said about to walk away but I grabbed him.
"Why are you so mad for? I didn't do anything and he was just trying to make me feel better" I told him.
"You shouldn't depend on another nigga to make you feel better and I saw what the fuck was going on you don't think I saw y'all flirting and laughing and shit. You don't think I heard him call you baby girl?" He said.
"It's not what you think"
"Yeah your right. I was far off when I thought that you was for me. I'm done with you" he said walking away and I couldn't hold back the tears that escaped my eyes.
I made my way towards the bathroom and fixed myself in the mirror and debated on whether or not I'd take an Uber home or stay and not let him ruin my night but I just couldn't be fake happy right now so I ordered my Uber and left.
Once I got home I placed my phone on the charger and listened to music as I showered for a good 20 mins just thinking and crying. When I came out I put on my night gown and turned my phone completely off and I cried myself to sleep.

Next morning
"Dee wake up" I heard as I slowly opened my eyes and saw Nomi shaking me.
"Whaaat" I whined
"It's one o'clock what are you still doing in bed? I called you and you wasn't answering so I called Roddy and he told me that y'all broke up. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you girl" she said and her saying that just made me cry because it was confirmation that it really did happen.
"Aww Dee don't cry. Get up and get dressed we gonna have a girls day" she said
"Noooo I don't feel like it"
"I wasn't asking you I was telling you" she said pulling on my arm making me sit up. She then got up and went in my closet and threw me some clothes
"Get up and wear it" she said and I got up to get dressed
"Happy dang" I said once I was done getting ready
"Yess my bitch fine as wine" she said as she started to record me and I cracked a fake smile. Once we was in the car there was some music that lowly played in the back ground and I was just in my head about the whole situation.
"Can you believe that he said that he was far off when he thought I was for him. Like is that nigga stupid he was my first kiss the first boy to ever see me naked. He was literally my first everything and I literally sucked this man dick which is something I said I'll never do cause I thought it was gross. He brought me out my comfort zone and all our memories we have together are filled with first times" I vented
"Damn when he mad he be saying some hurtful shit. But no forreal I feel like he really like maybe even love you shit I don't know cause the way he is towards you is so different. You know Roddy antisocial as fuck so he don't really do too much but when it come to you his vibe and energy is so different like y'all became friends so quick and when he said you was his girl at the mall I was hella shocked cause Roddy don't do that relationship shit. I feel like you got to give him some space tho and let him come to you cause he's gonna come eventually y'all vibe way too great for y'all to just call it quits over some petty shit. What happened anyways?" She said.
"Man I don't know he was mad before we even got to the stupid dance I don't know why maybe it's because I kept on hanging up on him or if he was just mad cause something else happened but I tried dancing with him and he ain't want to so I came to y'all and danced and then I went towards him cause I seen him talking to some broad. I tried to get him to talk but he ain't want to and was just shutting me out so I went outside to cool off I was about to call an Uber to take me home but this guy came to talk to me and he was calling me baby girl and stuff and Roddy overheard and thought I was flirting with him when I wasn't. He was just telling me not be mad and to not let the situation with Roddy ruin my night" I explained
"You gotta look at it from his perspective Dee. He called you "babygirl" you should have shut that shit down as soon as those words came out his mouth. Should've told him not to call you that cause he was obviously tryna spit game" she said
"But that's not how I saw it" I told her
"Well nine times out of ten that's how he saw it" she said and she parked the car and I noticed that she was in front of Roddy's apartment.
"Girl why are we here" I said smacking my teeth
"So you can get your mans back"
"I'm not going in" I told her crossing my arms against my chest
"Come on Dee" she said pulling my arm
"Nooo leave your keys so I can play my music" I said and she smacked her teeth
"Alright hold up" she said going towards the apartment and I played needed me by Rihanna. A few moments later I saw Roddy come out and he was making his way towards the car so I paused the song. He knocked on the window and I rolled it down and he just put his arm in and hit the unlock button and opened the door. I was waiting for him to speak and he didn't so there was just an awkward moment of silence before he finally spoke.
"Shorty" he said and I placed my hands over my face as I began to cry. I was so frustrated because he was really playing with my emotions and he was making me a simp.
"Stop crying" he said removing my hands and he picked me up and sat down on the seat making me straddle him
"I-I can't" I said as I rested my head on the crook of my neck as I continued to sobb. I really could not control my tears.
"Sorry" he said rubbing my back
"I didn't mean shit I said last night I was just aggravated and mad and instead of handling that shit I put it on you and was tryna make you mad too and I took it way too far" he said rubbing my back and it took me a few moments before I was able to suck it all up.
"You forgive me" he said as I pulled my head up and started rubbing my eyes
"You forgive me" he repeated pulling my hands away from my face and I just nodded my head yes
"Gimmie a kiss" he said before kissing me and he slipped his tongue into my mouth and we made out for a good minute.
"Come on lets go inside so I can make it up to you" he said as he carried me all the way into the apartment
"Yo can y'all get out real quick come back later" he said kicking Nomi and Chris out his apartment. Once they were gone he wasted no time in showing how sorry he really was.
