Jungkook climbs into the passenger seat as Taehyung offers him a sad smile, noticing the dried tears that stain his rosy cheeks and the shakiness in his hands. As he seats himself and closes the door, shielding himself from the outside world, Taehyung's hand gently touches his thigh, tracing small lines in the soft skin.
It doesn't feel the safe, though.
Jungkook doesn't feel that familiar warmth that spreads through his stomach whenever Taehyung strokes his thigh. He feels empty, broken, hurt, emotionless, filled with nothing but an empty pit of despair.
