After school I watched some tv did my homework and just scrolled through Instagram. Melissa just changed her bio to "taken by the best ever!!!" Ughh. I checked to see if miles has changed it but it still remains the same.
I thought about miles for about an hour while I just laid on my bed. I imagined cute scenarios where we would snuggle and hug and just breathe the same air. It made me happy to think that if I couldn't do it, at least I can imagine it. It's as close as I'll get.
I hear my phone ring interrupting my daydream with imaginary Miles. I don't want to pick it up but I look at the collar id. As I hoped it would be, it's Miles. Instantly I press the green button
"How's my favorite little cannoli doing?" I hear him say
Cannoli? He's so weird.
"Bored out of my mind actually my big cheesecake" I reply
Really Naomi? Cheesecake? That's the best you can't think of? That sounded a lot more awkward than I thought it would.
"Cheesecake?" He says in between laughs "I don't even like cheesecake"
"Yea that was weird" I say
"Well anyways I was wondering if u wanted to go with me to the premier for pacific rim? On Thursday" He asks
Miles has been fantasizing about seeing this move forever. He taught me all about it before the trailer was even released.
"I would love going with you Miles Alexander Teller but theirs one problem." I say jokingly
"U wanna see me naked first" he says
"Not exactly" I say while laughing
"Miles, you kind of have a girlfriend and you kind of need to spend time with her also"
"I know but she's gonna be bored out of her mind! She told me she only likes movies with George Clooney in them." Miles says
"Ok I'll go but u need to spend time with Melissa also" I tell him
"Alright I will" he answers.
"Well I have to take a shower now so I'll see you tomorrow" I say
"Okay..." He said like a sad little kid
"Bye cheesecake" I say
"Bye beautiful" he answers
He has called me that ever since 8th grade. I smile at the complement that I should be used to by now, but it never fails to make me happy.
