Of course, Jungkook was lying.
He was catching feelings for that artsy hipster boy and his soft boxy smiles and vibrant blue hair. He was just one of a kind, a unique puzzle piece Jungkook liked to imagine matched perfectly with him. Although the fear of being wrong was still there somewhere in his broken heart, the fear of being delusional and too infatuated to objectively analyze the situation he involved himself in.
Was he in for a one-time thing? Hopefully not. Hopefully, it was gonna last, hopefully, Taehyung was gonna be someone special in his life, a fixed point, a comfort. Breaking the guy's heart or using him was definitely not in his plans, cause the last thing he wanted was for him to go through the same sh*t he went through because of Yoongi.
Oh, about that: as much as he hated to admit it, it had been incredibly easy for him to forget about his ex cause let's face it... their relationship had ended waay before they made the break up official and waay before Yoongi had the nerve to cheat on him (maybe it wasn't even the first time the guy did it with somebody else.. his hookup with Jimin was just the tip of the iceberg).
So long story short, he wanted to try. Try and see if his interest towards Taehyung went beyond just his looks; but even though he told himself he was gonna go slow, he couldn't help but want him. So bad so that he was gonna do whatever it took to make him want him too.
