Summary:
Both Peter and Wade are going against each other in student government for the top position. Problem is, both are in a relationship.

"Whatcha doing babe?" Wade asked
"Running through everything necessary to become the leader in student government." Peter said
"Gross. School things." Wade said, collapsing on the bed next to Peter, both shared an apartment in Queens.
"Come on Wade, just because it isn't important to you, doesn't mean it isn't important." Peter said
"Do you think your going to win?" Wade said
"Not sure but the competition stakes aren't high so I'm counting on it." Peter said
"I bet if I joined I could show you a challenge." Wade said
"Yeah, sure Wade." Peter laughed
"What? You don't think I can do this school shit?" Wade said
"I just think it isn't up for you." Peter shrugged "You have a lot of talents in athletics but this is academic."
"I might just go now just to win!" Wade said, sitting up
"Sure. I'd like a challenge." Peter said, thinking Wade was joking.
"You just watch Peter Parker. You'll never know what hit you." Wade smirked and walked out of the room

"Please welcome to the stage, Peter Parker!" The principle said as cheers rose from the students in the audience
Peter walked onto stage, prepared to give his speech on how he can change the school and community for the better.
He looked at Ned and MJ who gave him reassuring looks as he spoke through the microphone.
"I Peter Parker, want to make this school a better place—." He said at first
He went down on his speech, passion and fire in his voice as he spoke about the things he would do to help the school and the students. A lot of people clapped, even some of the kids who didn't want to come to the event. Wade stood backstage, getting a little bit competitive, thinking that Peter would probably mop the floor with him because he was a clearly better candidate.
"—and I promise I will try my absolute best to fulfill all of these options I have stated so far." Peter finished and everyone started clapping loudly and cheering, Ned and MJ giving him proud looks.
Peter looked to the side to see Wade smiling at him and clapping, mouthing the words 'you're going down.' humorously.
Peter rolled his eyes playfully and walked off the stage.
"That was Peter Parker everyone! Next up we have an unlikely candidate, Wade Wilson!" The principle said as wade walked up on the stage and grabbed the mic.
"I know what you all are thinking, Wade Wilson? That football guy? How could he be a student government leader? I know I am not a great student or nearly as passionate as my boyfriend who just came up. I promise I can make this school way better. We have all these things for academics but yet nothing for athletics! I'll change that and make sure everyone has a fair chance." Wade said
A few people looked around and then suddenly a couple boys cheered from the football team.
"And not only the football team! Soccer and even swimming too!" Wade said
Teams started cheering loudly and clapping. Many people were in relationships (Platonic and romantically) with them so they started cheering too to support them.
"Also for you book people out there! We know your nerds but that's okay, it means your smart. I'll make the library have way more books and space!" Wade said and a lot of people started cheering the clapping
"That'll be all." Wade gave a smirk to everyone before walking off the stage
"Uh, that was Wade Wilson everyone!" The principle said in the background as Wade walked up to Peter
"Looks like someone has a little competition now." Wade remarked with a smirk
"Your right. It'll be more interesting when I win." Peter said, he had always been competitive but never showed it because he couldn't play sports or else he'd accidentally break a lot of things
"Oh honey, you'll be in high status too in this school. You'll be the student governments leader. Well, the leaders boyfriend." Wade smirked
"Pretty sure that'll be your title." Peter said
Wade wrapped his arms around Peter and got really close to his face, making Peter blush heavily.
"Babe, I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve. It'll be fun to confuse you and eventually win." Wade said and kissed Peter
"Y-you can't d..do that! That's manipulative to your competition!" Peter said
"So be it." Wade winked "let's go and have political se-"
"Wade! It's the middle of school." Peter exclaimed
"Who said it had to be at home?" Wade smirked
Peter stared at him and shook his head.

"Here are our final two candidates!" The principle called out "Wade Wilson and Peter Parker! They will be up shortly."
Peter and Wade were both brought backstage and getting prepared to have a debate.
Peter sitting in front of his table with a mirror and was going through his cards when he felt familiar hands wrap around his waist.
"Wade. Not the time." Peter said firmly
"It is the time." Wade whispered in Peters ear
"Whatever you are trying to pull, won't work." Peter said, looking in the mirror in front of him to see Wade staring seductively at him
"Shh...I just want to be with you love." Wade said and his lips ghosted Peters neck, nearly touching but not quite,
Peter shivered and shook his head.
"Go get ready." Peter said
"Not after I have you." Wade said, and started gently kissing Peters neck and massaging his back.
Peter wanted so bad to lean into the warm touch of his boyfriend but he had to stay strong.
Peter got up and faced Wade.
"Listen, we cant do thi-" Peter said before he was cut off by Wade kissing him
They kissed for a few seconds, Wades arms were around Peter, holding him close. Peter melted and his mind got foggy,
Wade was about to make another move when Peter shook his head, breaking the kiss. His face flushed.
"No. No. I know what your trying to do! You can't manipulate your competition!" Peter said, trying to get out of Wade's arms
"Oh come on. I just wanted to spend some time with you." Wade smirked, kissing the tip of Peters nose.
"Nope. NOPE!" Peter said and slipped out of Wade's arms
"Come onnn babe." Wade said "We have time for one roun-"
"Quit it Wade!" Peter said
"And I would like to bring to the stage, Peter Parker and Wade Wilson!" The principle suddenly said outside
"Shit." Peter said and quickly fixed his disheveled appearance
Wade smiled at Peter before walking off onto the stage. Peter huffing and following close behind.
They both took a stand and answered controversial topics. They agreed on most of them and debated on some of them. What was the most interesting was that Peter was stuttering a lot due to the events prior and his face was red, a lot of people could tell what happened because Wade was never effected by showing too much PDA throughout their relationship.
The night went on and they finished their last topic, everyone started casting votes.
Peter and Wade both stood on the stage patiently.
"I love you." Wade said to Peter, Peter was about to answer when Wade picked up the mic
"I already know who's going to win. Peter Parker because I'm dropping out." Wade said and the school gasped way too dramatically
"Dramatic. Well, I only came to this competition because my boyfriend challenged me. But I'll still keep my promises because I know Peter will hold them up for me. He's told me before he was also passionate about what I said, so I have no doubt he can do both." Wade said
"You are officially dropping out Wade?" The Principle said "Peter did win, but it was such a close call, we wanted you to be the co-leader."
"Really?" Wade questioned
"If Peter will have you." The principle said
Wade turned and looked at Peter who was smiling.
"Of course." Peter said
Wade smiled and leaned in to kiss Peter as the crowed cheered.
"I like this side of you. I should compete with you more often." Wade said once they broke the kiss
"Maybe. But I'd win." Peter said
"We'll see about that next time." Wade winked
