It was the start of Wayv, Sicheng and Ten were working on their Rainbow project and it had been a while since the two males had a moment to themselves.
“So, what are you thinking?” Asks Ten trying to remain as calm as possible.
“I was thinking something like this,” Sicheng shows the phone with his current favorite song.
“Ok,” Ten beams his gorgeous smile.
“I’ve missed you,” Ten adds, “its been a long while since I’ve been able to see you and I really miss you.”
Sicheng’s heart beats a little faster in his chest as the thought of the other’s words. The two haven’t been together long, long enough for Ten to go off and do the song “Baby Don’t Stop” with Taeyong. But not long enough to be back far enough in their relationship, friendship however yes.
“I have to,” Sicheng’s voice cracks.
Its not a lie, during promotions for Empathy was the worse for the couple.They were so busy and didn’t have a moment to have together. And it didn’t just damage them mentally, it also damaged their relationship together.

“So, what is everyone thinking!?” Excitedly asks Lee-SooMan.
The boys were all just told about Empathy, the 2018 release for NCT all together. And everyone was excited. Except for poor Dong Sicheng, who just got together with his boyfriend not even a month before the big news.
“The only problem is Taeyong and Ten will be gone for some time performing the song representing U,” he adds, Sicheng’s heart falling a little at the news.
Everyone nods as they start to leave the room, Ten catching his way to up his boyfriend. Sadness overtakes Sicheng. Him and Ten just finally got together and now they had to be split up.
“Are you ok Sichengie?” Ten asks carefully.
“No, I’m not,” Sicheng snaps, “so what? You knew about this?! And you didn’t have plans on telling me,” yells a frustrated Sicheng.
“I only knew about this since last week, what even is your problem? Aren’t you happy for me,” Ten snaps back slightly taken aback by his boyfriend’s rage.
“My problem is you and Taeyong! You don’t think I new something was going on between you two!” Sicheng yells, tears threatening to find their way.
“There never once was a thing between me and Taeyong what,” laughs Ten, “you have known since the beginning, my heart was set on YOU.”
However, in the heat of the moment, Sicheng didn’t want to listen to anything going on. And he walked away. Walked away from the one person he loves more than anything else in the world.
When Sicheng gets to the dorms, he locks the door to his shared room, letting the tears fall from the fight. Him and Ten haven’t fought like that, not even in their trainee days. So this was something new, he wasn’t necessarily ready for.
A small knock finds its way to his door, however he doesn’t have it in him to get up and unlock the door.
“Sichengie? I’m sorry ok… I understand how you feel about me and Taeyong working together and I should’ve just told you when I found out. So I’m sorry, you know where my room is when you are ready to talk,” the soft voice of Ten’s fills Sicheng’s ears. And then, he leaves, soft footsteps leaving the locked door.
Sicheng can’t help but feel sad, he understands that maybe everything he did wasn’t right. However, to him in the moment it did. And he didn’t want to lose the best person he has ever known because of something silly like this.

It was the start of promotions for NCT Yearbook 2018, and SIcheng and Ten had barely talked since the fight. And by now, all the members knew about the fight. An awkward void filled the room when the two were even in a radius of each other.
“Come on you two,” whines Jisung.
“Can’t you just talk this out for Chesos stake, you love each other,” he shakes Ten’s arm with an adorable fout.
However, it did spark something in Ten and he walked right up to Sicheng whom was taking to Yuta.
“Sicheng,” Ten stop some distance away, “can we talk?”
Sicheng’s heart beats a little faster at the voice. He walks toward the other hesitantly while everyone else around them watched the scene in front of them unfold.
“Yes?” Sicheng says in a very small voice.
“Can we talk in the hall alone,” Ten says in an almost annoyed tone.
“Yeah,” Sicheng almost non existent says.
The walk to the hall was short, and still daunting to the males. Sicheng’s heart racing faster and faster as a moment of silence passed between the couple.
“Again I’m so sorry Sichengie, I should’ve told you instead of keeping it from you, and I promise to never keep something like that from you again. Please, I need my Sichengie back,” Ten looks softly at the other.
A small smile finds its way to Sicheng’s face as he goes into Ten’s open arms. Wrapping around his body, the two stand still for a moment, no words being said. But then again, it isn’t like words needed to be said anyway. It was almost like the two could feel everything that needed to be said anyway.
“I forgive you,” Sicheng utters out quietly.

And more time went by for the couple, aka Ten and Taeyong were busy with promotions. And it didn’t hurt Sicheng anymore. He watched the vlogs the two did together and as well as the stages and smiled happily at his boyfriend dancing on stage again. And the cute “Taeten” moments didn’t upset Sicheng anyway, he had the same thing happen with “Yuwin” and chose getting jealous was very hypocritical on his part.
“You did good babe,” Sicheng smiles on the video call that evening.
“Aww Sichengie is watching my stages,” jokingly coos Ten.
“Whatever,” a smile finding its way to Sicheng’s face.
“But, seriously though, you did amazing. I’m so proud of you Tennie.”
“Thank you, it means so much more hearing it from you,” Ten giggles.
“Anyway, I’m going to sleep I’ll talk to you tomorrow Sichengie I love you,” Ten giggles.
“Yeah yeah, I love you too,” blushes Sicheng hanging up the call.
A sigh finds its way through Sicheng’s lips, he still misses his boyfriend however seeing him happy on stage performing made everything better. At least, he felt like. Going to sleep that night wasn’t easy, nor was it difficult, he just couldn’t wait to see his boyfriend next to him so soon.

“Sichengie,” a voice yells through the dorm.
Sicheng sighs waking up and sitting up from his slumber, a groan finding its way. He just wants to go back to sleep, however whoever that voice is had different thoughts.
“This better be a good reason I’m being woken up,” Sicheng yells back, stepping his warm feet on the cold of the bare wood ground.
Making his way to the door and opening it, he sees Ten standing in the middle of the front room. Smile bright on his face and black hair styled perfectly to a ‘T’.
“Sichengie,” Ten yells running to his lover.
Sicheng finds himself in a tight hug before his mind is too cognitive. A smile finding its way to his face as he wraps his arms tightly around the other. A smile finding its way to his face, and a soft delicate kiss being placed on his cheek.
“I’ve missed you,” Ten mumbles in the hug.
“I’ve missed you too,” Sicheng mumbles back hugging the other tightly back as well.

It was time later, Sicheng and Ten laying around in the dorm watching movies together having their own little date. And the two couldn’t of been more happier, arms wrapped around each other warmly. When of course, Lee-SooMan finds his way walking into the dorm.
“Yes sir,” both stand up creating some distance between the two.
“Hello boys,” he says walking up and softly patting their heads.
“I have some amazing news for you two. I am making a new Chinese group, and it's called Wayv. And guess who’s in it? You two,” he smiles as he watches the boys’ reactions.
“Its such an honor sir,” they both bow, causing a smile on the males face.
“I’m glad you both like my idea,” he again pats their heads, “now you two are free to go back to your movies,” he says walking out of the room.
“We are now in a group together babe,” Sicheng smiles excitedly.
“We are,” Ten smiles petting the others cheek.
It led the males to this moment, being side by side as they planned out a project they are doing together. Smiles on their faces, it never felt so spectacular to be in this moment, together.
“I still can’t believe we are in this together,” smiles Sicheng softly.
“However, babe I have bad news,” Ten looks down sheepishly at the other. When he hears a hum in reply he knows he’s good to just say it.
“Lee-SooMan wants me and Taeyong in this super group together, something called Superm I think. And I just wanted to tell you,” Ten watches the others face trying to read any emotion from the other.
“I understand Tennie, thank you for telling me this time,” Sicheng smiles a breathtaking smile to the other.
Engulfing each other into a hug, the moment felt real and raw together. Sure, it was going to hurt being far apart from each other. However now, they trust the love they share to last them a lot longer than some stupid ‘Super Group.’

“Hey babe,” Sicheng says through the phone.
“How’s Wayv going?” Ten asks with a smile, shifting the angle of his phone.
“Boring really, Kun’s Kun and Lucas is Lucas,” laughs Sicheng at the dumb memories Lucas and Yangyang have done.
“I miss you, I really can’t wait to see you soon,” Ten sadly smiles into the camera. The smile leaving Sicheng’s face at his boyfriend’s words.
“I miss you as well Tennie, however have fun with Taeminnie, Lucas, Taeyongie, Kai, and Mark. I’m here and I’ll always be right here,” Sicheng giggles at the cheesiness of his words.
“I’ll try for you Sichengie as long as you promise you are right here,” Ten softly smiles at the cleanliness of his words.
“I promise I’m right here Tennie, I’m not going anywhere,” Sicheng sends a genuine smile back to the male.
“I’ll talk to you soon Sichengie,” Ten smiles softly.
“I’ll talk to you soon too Tennie Bear,” Sicheng smiles being the one to press the ‘end’ button on the call.
However, he doesn’t feel sad being without his boyfriend, nor does he feel jealous. The couple has been through so much in the short span of the year they have been together, from Sicheng getting jealous and almost breaking them up during ‘Baby Don’t Stop’ promotions. To the long and tiredly hours for ‘Black on Black’ where the couple literally got to see each other however not got to spend even a second together with how busy the promotions were.
It was hectic.
Just for them to luckily put together in Wayv, a group where they get to be together and share a close bond with some other awesome people. In which, Sicheng promised to not get jealous of, and it was hard to not be jealous. But Sicheng got passed that, to now Ten being in Superm. They may be far apart from each other physically because of it, however Sicheng always knows they are close in heart. Because their rollercoaster of everything is almost over, the storm is now just drops of rain in the darkened sky. It looks like it could rain heavier again, however it won’t. Nothing can defeat the way they feel about each other. Because they won’t let each other go.
“Just always stay with me,” Sicheng smiles at the blackened screen of his phone.
