Johnny sat across the way as he watched Jungwoo practice, the other male danced sensationally. He was so attached to the action at hand, he didn't even notice his lover across the way having loving eyes on him.
"Ya Johnny stop staring," jokingly states Yuta sitting down next to him for a break.
Johnny smirks ever so slightly at the condesending comment of the other, "like you haven't been staring at Xiaojun during practice, I've seen the looks." His eyes never once leaving Jungwoo.
"No," Yuta blushes profoundly and immediantly denying it in many whines.
Its something about his and Yuta's relationship he is proud of.
"What are you doing Johnny," comments Jungwoo in his naturally sarcastic tone.
Johnny had not been paying attention to know his lover is now croutching down right next to him, with his arm on his shoulder as he shows his puppy-like smile. Johnny finally looking up at the other as he is sitting down.
"When did you get here," he asks softly passing over his water bottle to the other.
"Just now," Jungwoo responds after taking a long sip.
Johnny stared at the other admiringly with love in his eyes. Sometimes he questions how he ended up with the other. Sometimes, it is still a mystery, especially when him and Lucas were so close in that time. But at that time there was nothing that he could do. So he sat by and he watched the two interact. And it made him notice things about the other that he might not have before. Like how shy he could get at times, and at times how doyed his eyes could look. It only made him more jealous the more he watched the other interact with Lucas
And during boss era he watched the two grow more confident in themselves. He felt proud but the same time it made him sad to see the other get closer to someone else that was not him. He tried time and time again to get closer to the other but nothing to advil during this time. Was it because Jungwoo was so new in the industry? Or was he just not interested in the other even in a friendship type of way? At this time he did not want to think of any of that.
So more and more time past after boss and during this time was when Jungwoo was announced as a member of 127. At the same time Johnny was ecstatic he also felt sad for Lucas as the two were now going to be separated. Is he selfish I think that way?
Definitely possibly.
And it first started during Regular area when he could finally meet Jungwoo, he was beyond shy at that time and almost cried every time Johnny talk to him. It led more times than not of Johnny comforter and the other but you never heard Johnny complaining. He felt sad that he was not bonding with the other the way he wanted.And it wasn't long after Boss where Jungwoo had taken a short break from the group. Johnny isn't even sure of the exact time it happened because it felt like it happened so fast. He felt like all that time he took to get close to the other was a waste now, who knew when Jungwoo was even going to return even if he was going to. Was it all because of the separation of him and Lucas? Johnny tried doing everything he could think of to help the others anxiety but everything only seemed to be more of a waste. So the only question was is now what?
Well after some time Jungwoo decided to return the group. And Johnny couldn't have been anymore happier. But now Jungwoo was even more of a flirt than he was before, and he flirted with every member. He now became the professional flirt-master. One of the fruitiest ones and Johnny was not sure how to treat this any longer. Jungwoo still responding to his flirtations but Johnny was not sure anymore if the other even had feelings for him so what is he supposed to do now?
Only one answer
Stop.
And that is what he did for months, he wants to believe the lack of flirting with the other Jungwoo only continue to flirt with the others and continuously. If Johnny was a thinking man he would think that Jungwoo was trying to get back at him not possible Right? What was even the chances of Jungwoo being gay anyway.
Johnny saw his best friend came next to him.
"What," Johnny responded utterly confused.
"I just don't think you notice, whether you're too stupid or you're just blinded" answered Jaehyun shaking his head at the other.
"I genuinely don't understand what you were talking about right now" Johnny responded.
Right now Johnny saw in his dorm room on his bed writing some lyrics for the new upcoming song. And Jaehyun sat across from him, still close enough.
"Jungwoo likes you idiot and you better do something about it before he is willing to move on from you," warns Jaehyun deadpanning.
"What are you talking about?" Johnny responded with a ting in his heart.
"All of this time Jungwoo has liked you and he's even trying to show you and yet you have not done a single thing about it," grumbles Jaehyun at his blinded friend.
"I thought he liked Lucas or wasn't even gay," Johnny defending himself.
"Yeah please don't tell me your brain could be that stupid to think that," Scoffs Jaehyun.
Johnny looked over at the other offended, he could not believe what the other had just uttered in front of him. His brain at least needed a couple minutes to fully respond to what had just been said.
"So what am I supposed to do with this information?" Johnny now asks confused.
"Well idiot, I know you've liked him for a while. You're a little too obvious but do something about it," Jaehyun responded with that knowing look in his eyes. "Trust me you don't want me saying," chuckling at the end
Johnny remembers what happened the last time Jaehyun had done something to try and help someone else out, let's just say Mark and Donghyuck still laugh about that day.
"Yeah yeah," Johnny responded "now leave my room."
And like a pest Jaehyun left without another word.But Johnny knew for sure he was going to need a moment to think this over.
And so Johnny let a week pass by you tried to observe the other but to him nothing seemed obvious like Jaehyun had tried to state. And of course he watched Jaehyun from a distance the other with that still telling face. It told him he didn't have long to think this over.Johnny sat in the dance practice room with everybody, they were currently practicing for their newest upcoming album. And Johnny sat at a break station across from the way from Jungwoo where he sat with Mark and laughed and even cuddled with the other. Johnny wondered why Donghyuck let that happen. Next to him is Taeyong, there with knowing eyes watching everyone in the room like the leader he is.
"You know Johnny even I can see eventually," comments Taeyong.
"You too Taeyong", Johnny comments in an over exaggerated way
Taeyong rolled his eyes at the the way the other reacted so much, "can see it you have a real problem?" Asks Taeyong
"So what am I supposed to do with all this I spent all of this time thinking he wasn't into me, or he wasn't gay, or he was into Lucas, so now what am I supposed to sit here and do with all of this information?" Frustrated Johnny comments
Maybe after some time everything have been getting to Johnny and all the time he spent trying to flirt with the other and feeling like he got to know what veil it finally sparked something at him to be ready to be done with the other.
"Well considering you have been chasing after him for almost four years I hope you would not give up now," scoffs Taeyong.
Johnny sighs,"I know Taeyong; you're right."
But he still needs time to truly sit down and think about this.
"Well," Taeyong responds, " you can only wait for so long before even Jungwoo will be ready to give up so don't waste too much time okay?" questions Taeyong generally concern for the two. His leader moment really shining through
Johnny smiles at the caring of the other he hugs the other slightly looking over across the way at Jungwoo; does he see some jealousy from the other he isn't sure now if his eyes are just deceiving him or if that is truly what he sees. It's not like yes time anyway to figure out because it's time to now get up and go back to dance practice.
Two months had passed now Johnny didn't mean for so much time to continue to go on but he really wasn't sure where to take all of this. Any normal person would be considerably happy that their crush had like them specially after they had spent so much time chasing after the other and flirting with the other, but watching the other pine after Lucas for almost a year was enough to devastate him. But no one besides him needs to know that except for him and Jungwoo.
"Seriously?" Mark sits in the practice room with Johnny, they were currently recording their audio for the new album. He is sitting across from the other on one of the comfy couches or what they at least want to call comfy.
Johnny sighs he already knows where this conversation is going to, "yes," he eventually responds
"Well it's just it's been two months since you told me about what was going on with you and Jungwoo and the fact that you've still not done anything seriously idiot what are you waiting for," laughs Mark.
Of course even Johnny knows that Mark is in no position to laugh at him especially after it took him six years to confess to Donghyuck.
Johnny sighs once again," listen I know you confessed to Donghyuck and you think you're that you're the hot potato and can give advice but I promise you; that you still cannot I remember how you spent six years pinning after him," he gives the other knowing eyes.
Mark test the other with the same eyes back, "well at least even though it took me six years I still did it at this rate, your rate, is going to be never," crossing his arms in an annoying way that signified he had won the battle
Johnny tests with the same eyes knowing that he is not wrong he eventually sits back and crosses his arms in a position like he is ready to finally listen to the other
"Just do it just confess it doesn't have to be anything extravagant just do it" Mark's advice.
Johnny nibbles on his lip, like if he wants to tell the other, "listen Mark, I do want to, but I don't know, it's just I watched him pine after Lucas for a year devastated when they were finally split apart and lost a lot of contact how am I supposed to come back from that?"
Mark shows the other sympathy eyes finally someone had finally gotten the answer out of him of why he was truly waiting all of this time, "listen Johnny I understand what you're saying I truly do, I watched Donghyuck pine after others for so long, especially Taeil. I thought I never had a chance but I finally confessed and little did I know all this time he had eyes for me and not the others I only hope you can really depend on hope Johnny.
"And what if you're wrong?" Johnny answers hunched back defeated.
Mark with his small smirk, "I don't think I am."
So Johnny gave it one more night and the next morning he was destined to confess his feelings to Jungwoo no matter how it changed anything. Call him daring at this point.
He waited until everyone went out to lunch like they had planned he grabbed Jungwoo by the arm, "yes Johnny?" Jungwoo utterly confused answers
"I was hoping I could talk to you for a moment," Johnny chews on his lip.
Jungwoo shows that precious smile of his, "of course!"
Going into the one of the back rooms Johnny shuts the door behind them. His heart racing at millions of miles per hour.
Wasn't there something you wanted to tell me," Jungwoo answers looking over at the other in the dim lighting of the room
"It's just," Johnny answers chewing on his lip, "I like you and I have for a while, but I didn't know how to say it, and everyone kept telling me to do it, but haven't gotten the chance to do it until now , so here I am standing in front of you saying that I like you, and I have for a very long time but I didn't know what to do until just now I or something."
Jungwoo takes a second utilize his brain before he lets out a small smile, "Ah Johnny you silly pabo, I never had a thing for Lucas back then, it's been you."
It takes a second for the Information to get to his head for a moment, he just heard Jungwoo likes him too.
"So what do you think?" Johnny lets the confidence rollover, Jungwoo rolls his eyes at the other.
"Well idiot will you be my boyfriend?" Jungwoo blushes slightly at the other.
That's where Johnny giggles leaning over at the other in a quick surprise hug. A small kiss on his forehead. "Promise to stay with me for a while?" He looks at the other with eyes full of love
"Of course!" Jungwoo lets the love sink into his eyes, bringing the other back for a small kiss on his nose.
