I've got a distant mind but in this deranged world I am completely in line
Extravagantly normal
So I understand in yours if I'm not a perfect girl
My fears are my confidant
This is what I depend my life on
I am only able to bring " me " to your table nothing more, nothing less
So if you are working for mentally the best I shouldn't possibly be a choice
If I may voice the rest is and may be a better resource to your finding
You hear my past
And you bring pity through my door
Every pain that I've ever felt has left an open sore
Every slash to my skin that I've gotten forced me to find my true roar
So ask me nothing when you see me
Cause nothing's changed if that's what you're searching for
And it's such a shame cause I have only myself to blame
And I will forever stay away
Cause I'm still and forever constantly in the same place
You beg for an answer of my mental state
And I'll say " aint nothing's changed "
You look at me and think I'm away
And I'll simply say, that you are damn right
Cause within it all I've been able to manage
There's a range and I fall inbetween but leaning more to the side
It's strange how I'm damaged but my mind is mine
So many girls have lost their mind
To think for themselves
So many people have lost their spine
But I'll give you advice

No one should be able to change it
See straight through yourself and make sure you're alright
Change is defined as becoming different
Whereas growth is the process of developing physically, mentally and importantly spiritually
Bloom and flourish into your true self
Not into the shell of someone else
