You groggily opened your eyes before as your alarm went off. You had a moment of happiness about this trip but it quickly faded as you remembered the events of yesterday.
You shoved a pillow in your face a let out an exhasperated scream and then began you get ready. It was a hour long bus ride to the airport and then a 2 hour flight.
Aizawa agreed with principle Nezu that you guys all needed a break so you were staying in the most relaxing place you could go.
The gardens.
Just thinking about all of the wildlife and beautiful flowers made your heart fly. How the warm crisp sun would capture your skin, while the chill November breeze would softly flutter over.
You smiled content with your thoughts and grabbed your suitcase to head out the door. You had to bring a nice dress and a pair of wedges becasue there was a VERY fancy resturaunt there that you guys would be going to.
With you, you also had a few shirts, shorts, underwear/ socks (duh), and converse. Needless to say, you packed lightly. You got dressed and ready to go and headed to the school to meet the bus.
When you arrived, Mina greeted you with a blast of energy. "(Y/n)!!! You're here!" She said tugging you toward your other friends.
"Of course! I wouldn't miss this trip for anything." You smiled as your eyes scanned over your friends...and Bakugou. He stared at you until you scowled back at him making him walk away.
But not before noticing his attire. He had on a black tank top with sweatpants to match. He had an orange jacket tied around his waist and sunglasses on his forehead.
"You look great (Y/n)!" Denki cheered as Kirishima nodded in agreement. "Oh. Thank you!" You said brushing off their compliment.
"Look it's the bus!!!!!!!" Momo hollered loud enough for everyone to hear. All of your heads looked right to see the bus coming down the street. Mina gripped your hand and bounced up and down.
"I'm so excited!!!!"
Once the bus came to a stop, Aizawa stepped out. "Goodmorning students, a few things before we go on this trip. As you go in, you will take your plane tickets. I don't care if you don't like your seat, you all get along so deal with it. The flight leaves at 11 and right now it is 7 o'clock. We will be at the airport and through security by 8:30. After then and ONLY then may you wander off to go get breakfast. Understood?"
"Yes sir!" Everyone shouted in unison. You grabbed your bag that you had set on the ground as the class started hearding into the bus. As you firmed a line you heard a grunt from behind you and knew who it was.
He is going to end up next to me on the plane. Isn't he?!?
You thought to yourself as Aizawa handed you your ticket. You went amd took a seat on the bus and once you got situated you looked up to see Bakugou leaning against the seat.
You know when your parents used to say: 'if you keep making that face, your face will be stuck like that'? You were pretty sure that is what happened to Bakugou. He constantly scowled so it was his natural resting expression.
"Can I sit here?" He asked you calmly. You looked him up and down and moved over and leaned against the window. You didn't say anything, but you gave him a place to sit.
He returned your silence with a breif 'thanks' before ploping himself down. The whole ride you both were silent and those who weren't asleep were listening to music on their phones. It seemed everyone was too tired to be energized right now.
"AH!" The bus driver yelled in a panic as he slammed on his brakes. Someone flew through a red light and caused everyone in the bus to fly forward. You would have been tossed over your seat but a pair of arms kept you in place.
Your eyes were squeezed shut as everyone screamed in a moment of panic. Once you opened them you saw chaos. Peoples bags had opened and launched everywhere, luckily no one was hurt.
You noticed the tight grip around your waist and turned to look. The tip of your nose rubbed against Bakugou's as he held you, not wanting to let you go. Somehow he had braced himself, so if anything happened you wouldn't get hurt.
A light blush coated his cheeks as your breath grazed over his lips. "Thank you." You said quickly before wiggling out of his grasp. He huffed and looked away as the feeling of your soft skin still lingered on his hands.
Once you arrived at the airport and got through security, you decided to go to Einstine Bros with your friends and get a bagle. You sat and ate with them as you waited for the flight until eventually it was 30 minutes till boarding.
Before you left, you decided to grab some snacks but you had to take a buddy and Aizawa paired you with Bakugou. You groaned and spun around knowing Bakugou was behind you anyway.
You both walked in silence through the crowded airport until you eventually came to a snack shop. You looked at the array of snacks as a cute little song played over the speakers.
Bakugou watched you through a small crowd as you hummed to yourself and picked the snacks you wanted. He smiled to himself and let out a breathy chuckle as you began mumbling the words to yourself.
You felt an emmense stare on your figure and looked only to make eye contact with Bakugou. He was smiling to himself and you flushed and looked away. You shook it off and looked around for your last snack and saw them at the very top of the row.
You stood on your tiptoes and reached but to no avail. "Need some help?" You heard Bakugou's voice ring in your ears. You said nothing as he reached from behind you and grabbed the snacks with ease.
"Here shorty." He teased handing them to you. You made no eye contact as you slowly took them from his hand, fingers slightly brushing against eachother in the process. "Thank you." You said before walking to the check out.
"That will be 18 bucks" The cashier typed in the total and made eye contact with you as you shuffled through your bag. As you pulled out a 20, another arm reached from behind you with a handfull of cash.
"That should cover it. Keep the change."
You saw Bakugou take the bag of food and carry it for you, only stopping when he noticed you weren't with him. He looked back at you with his signature scowel back on his face, but something was different...it didn't hold the anger it used to.
"You coming or what shorty?"
You wanted to reply, but your anger towards him was still there. You nodded and walked past him. He huffed and followed you back to the section where you guys began boarding early.
Sure enough, Bakugou was in the seat RIGHT NEXT to yours. You boarded the plane as Bakugou followed behind you and occassionally bumped into you.
"These damn impantient assholes..." He muttered holding onto a seat so he didn't get knocked over.
Once you finally arrived to your seats, you sat by the window as Bakugou shoved his bag into the overhead compartment. You had never been this close to him for a long period of time. It sucked that you were mad at him right now.
Everyone finally got sat down and the flight attendants began to describe the emergency procedures. You didn't really listen as you had heard this time and time again and knew what to do.
You instead, looked out of the window at the airport that seemed to be moving. You figured that plane had started it's pattern to the runway so you could take off.
You grabbed your phone and headphones and began to listen to music as the plane got into position. You felt the deep rumble of the seats as the engines prepared for take off.
You leaned more to look out the window as the plane began to speed up going faster and faster until you felt the lightweight feeling in your stomach of being weightless.
You watched as your city got smaller and smaller. Your eyes fluttered shut and gradually drifted to sleep after about an hour and a half.
Bakugou watched as your head fell to place on his shoulder. He took his jacket off from around his waist and folded it carefully as to not wake you. He then lightly lifted up your head and placed the jacket on his shoulder and rested your head on top of it.
You moved slightly causing him to freeze and watch you intensely. Smiling in your sleep, you wrapped your arm around Bakugou's unknowingly and fell silent and still once again.
He blushed and placed his hand lightly on your thigh and traced soft cirlces upon your skin. He gave a quick soft glance toward your sleeping figure before quickly returning to his everyday expression.
"Do you want my advice now or later?" Bakugiu looked to the side and noticed Aizawa was sitting across the row from him. "What?" He asked making sure his voice was quieter than usual, causing it to be much deeper.
"You will end up coming to me later, do you want my advice now while everyone else is asleep?"
Bakugou took a moment and looked back at you gripping onto his arm and returned his gaze to Aizawa before accepting.
"(Y/n) cares about people more so than herself. It is important to prove to her that you can still be yourself, but just be nicer to others. The last thing she wants to do is change you, she just wants you to understand that putting people down hurts them."
"What if I don't deserve her?"
"Ka-chan.." A small voice interrupted the conversation as a freckled face peaked over the back of the seats to look at the blonde.
"(Y-Y/n) really likes you Ka-chan. She cares about you alot....but knows that she can't date someone who hasn't....uhh.um.." He froze again on those two words, so the teacher spoke once again.
"Grow up."
Bakugou didn't know what to do. How was he supposed to find a balance between who he has always been and who he should be to be a better person.
"I know it's confusing. You don't have to stop cursing or yelling...aka being yourself. But just try to insult others less. Or just apologize if you do." Aizawa added. "Prove to her that you are someone she should spend the rest of her life with...if that's what you want."
"Rest of my life?" He glanced back at you again. You were slightly drooling on his jacket but he didn't care, the light snore that resouned from your chest made his heart flutter. God he hated it.
You absolutely enamored him and he didn't know why. From the moment he met you he knew he liked you, but he never wanted to admit it. You were his weakness, and he was scared.
What if he was too harsh? What if the villians found out and tried to hurt you to get to him. He had already been kidnapped once....what if they took you instead?
"There is a reason that most hero's don't have loved ones Bakugou. But she knows the risks and she will protect you with her all, just as you will do for her." The raven-haired male closed his eyes and crossed his arms leaning back in his chair.
He decided, in that moment, that he would prove to you he could be better. That while he was scared of losing you, he was willing to protect you with his life. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with you-
"Bakugou?"
Your voice snapped him out his deep trance. Your tired eyes met his as you noticed the position you were in. Your arms encaged his as his hand rested on your thigh.
GODDAMIT!
You internally screamed as you unhooked your arms from his and pretended to look out the window. Bakugou was about to say something when the seatbelt lights dinged on and the captian began to speak.
"Attention all passengers, we will be landing the plane shortly. There will be some turbulance as we desend so please keep your seatbelts on and put all trays up. We hope you have enjoyed the flight."
Once the plance landed and you were starting to feel like Bakugou had gotten better, his tounge slipped and he told someone to...ahem: "Hurry the fuck up or else I will personally throw you out of this plane."
Needless to say, you were not happy. Neither was Bakugou.
He was pissed at himself because now you flat out ignored him...again. You all took a bus to the hotel at the gardens and you decided to sit with Mina. Bakugou sat next to Kirishima as his bro attempted to comfort him.
It was around 4 when you got to the hotel for the gardens. Your dinner reservation was set for 6 so you immediatley went to your shared room with Mina, Ochaco and Momo to get ready.
Momo did your hair as Ochaco gave you some light makeup. Mina was sat playing with her hair the Momo had done for her.
Momo had straightened her hair and was wearing a long red dress. Beside her, you could see Ochaco's prettly pulled up bun and her sparkly short pink dress. Mina, however, had tight curls bouncing on her head. Her white dress was poofy and suited her style to a T.
"Done!" Momo said letting you see your hair in all its glory. She had lightly curled it and styled it so it framed your face neatly. "You look so pretty (Y/n)!" Ochaco squealed and clasped her hands together.
"Thanks guys. I'm bad at this stuff so I appriciate the help."
"No problem! Now go put on your dress!!!" Mina shouted shoving the black bag in your direction. You sighed walking into the bathroom and slipping on the dress.
The (f/c) dress fit you perfectly. It was a soft fabric that went down to your ankles and flowed whenever you moved. The top had a sloping v-neck that stopped just above your midrift showing just enough but not too much. Two small spaghetti straps lined your shoulders as the light dress adorned your figure.
You stepped out of the bathroom to grab you wedges and were instantly met with a gasp and cheer from your roomates.
"You look amazing!!" The brunette said huging you tightly. "Bakugou won't be able to resist you (Y/n)." Mina winked making you flush.
Oh shit. He is going to see me in this!!!
"What if he asks to accompany you? Will you say yes?" Momo asked slipping on her shoes. You plopped on the bed and began to do the same as you pondered your response.
"Should I give him a chance?"
"He was so frusterated with himself on the bus earlier. I understand and agree woth your point of view and the fact that he needs to grow up, but it seems he is more distracted trying to make things right by your first." Ochaco added helping Mina with her heel.
"I'll think about it." Was all you said.
"Who the fuck are we waiting on? I'm fucking starving!" Bakugou grumbled shoving his hands in his pant pockets. "We are just waiting on Momo, Mina, Ochaco, and-"
"(Y/N)!" Jiro shouted interrupting Kirishima mid sentance. All eyes turned and fell upon you and your friends. But a certian pair was locked on you the whole time.
Bakugou watched as you greeted everyone with a radiant smile and gave hugs to a few of the boys. Before he knew it you were standing face to face with him. Your height was almost equal due to the wedges and you could feel his gaze buring into your own.
Momo thankfully took noticed and began to usher everyone away. "Let's go wait inside for our table. See you guys in there!" She said as the class rushed to get away from you both.
Neither of you moved as you just looked at eacher nervously, a blush rising to each of your faces.
"So do you want to-"
Both of you said simultaneously causing a small laugh out of your throat. He smirked and then asked you to continue. "Would you like to go on a quick walk?" You said nervously playing with your dress.
"Yeah. I'd like that."
You let out a breath you didn't know you were holding in relief. You both began to stroll through the gardens to your right. It was definitely beautiful at night.
"You know...everyone says that these flowers are beautiful during the sunrise and sunset....but I think they are gorgeous now."
Bakugou looked at you with a raised brow letting you contine.
"It is so dark out, but the moon illuminates them so they have so much color. The yellows and pinks blend together and create art on the trees. They just seem to make everything brighter."
"So the flowers are you?" Bakugou commented. You looked toward him and gave him a curious stare. "I mean. You brighten up everyone's shitty ass days. So you are alot like the flowers....exept you are way fucking prettier." He rubbed the back of his neck and looked away.
Your eyes widened as you took a step toward him. "You think I'm pretty?" You asked tilting your head.
"Tch. No shit! You have the most gorgeous damn smile and the most radiant fucking eyes that just make me hate you but love you so much!" He slapped a hand over his mouth and grumbled incoherently to himself.
"I uhm, bought you this fucking thing..." he said extending a box toward you while changing the subject. "I know you don't like rings, but I hope you will wear this at least."
You opened the box to find a sliver necklace with a gernade shaped charm with (f/c) accents. You looked between Bakugou and the necklace as his scowling features held uncertainty due to the lack of a response from you.
"(Y/n) will you go to dinner with me tonight?" He asked to break the silence.
"Bakugou why would I-"
"(Y/n) I know you hate me. But please, I just need a chance. I want to be by your side and stay with you for my whole life if it's possible. I was so worried about this becasue of the fact that heros don't have relationships for a reason, because people get hurt and-"
He was silenced by a finger to his lips. "You didn't let me finish you impatient ass." You smirked. You then removed your finger and placed a gentle peck on his cheek. "I was going to say, why would I not go with you?"
He said nothing for a moment making you somewhat nervous, but then it all faded away when he wrapped his arms around you. "(Y/n)...would you please wear that necklace? I don't want other guys getting any ideas." He muttered into the crook of your neck.
"Is this your way of asking me to be your girlfriend?" You joked patting him on the back. You felt him laugh a bit as he shook his head. "If you want it to be." He pulled away from you but kept his arms around your frame.
You rubbed your chin. "Hmmm, what if I want a puppy?" You jested once again causing him to roll his eyes. "We can buy any animals you want if you stay with me." He mocked back.
"I have my animal right here." You winked. "God don't say that babe." He said squeezing your sides making you giggle at his flustered appearance.
"So I'm assuming that is a yes? You are asking me to date you?"
"Yes. Now fucking answer."
"Hmm. Let me think..."
"(Y/n)...." He grumbled impatiently.
"I would gladly date you. But! You must put this necklace on me first."
He accepted and put the necklace on your neck, kissing your knuckles and then offering his arm to you. "(Y/n) would you walk with me?"
"Wow, a sentence without cursing. Who did I just agree to date."
"Shut the fuck up shorty."
"There is the Bakugou I know."
You both talked on your way to the dining hall and were met with cheers, clapping, and heads slamming on tables. That whole night Bakugou kept one arm around your chair. You have no idea how he mananged to cut a steak with one arm but you were impressed.
Once the night was over, Aizaw shooed you to your rooms. Of course, Bakugou walked you to your room that was down the hall from his.
"Here is my number shorty."
You took the slip of paper with his number on it and folded it up neatly in your hand. "Thank you Katsuki. I hope you sleep well." You said pressing a light kiss to his cheek.
"I definitely will. Also, keep calling me Katsuki. I like it so much better than Bakugou."
You giggled and nodded. He stood there for a moment and looked at you. "Do I have sauce on my face?" You began to wipe your face for any residue. "No, just beauty."
You hugged him and sighed as he embraced you back. "I'll see you tomorrow Katsuki."
Pulling away, he got one last look at you as you closed your door. He walked to his room and once he got in Denki, Sero, and Kirishima looked at him.
Silence filled the room and in one swift movement he collapsed om the floor. "It fucking woooorkkkeedd!" He screamed, muffled by the floor. His friends helped him onto the bed. You affected him more than he thought.
"Damn (Y/n) has such an affect on me..." he spoke to no one in particular. His phone vibrated and he immediately picked it up and read it as a message from you.
Perfection: Hey Katsuki. It is (Y/n).
Katsu: Hey...
Perfection: I really enjoyed tonight. And did you really mean it?
Katsu: Everything.
Perfection: Even when you said you loved me?
He froze and almost choked at your words. Shit. He did mean it, but was it too early for that? You two had known eachother for years....but...
Perfection: Becasue I love you too.
His heart dropped and flew all at the same time. He practically gasped for a breath of air as his body temperature rose.
Katsu: Yeah. I meant it...I love you.
Perfection: Yay! I love you too so it works out great! Anyway. I am going to head to sleep and have the best dreams in forever. I hope you sleep well Katsu. Goodnight<3
Katsu: Goodnight (Y/n)
He turned his phone off and noticex the three boys sitting criss-cross applesauce around him. "What?"
"Dude you are sweatingnlike crazy, what happened?!" Denki asked.
"NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUISNESS YOU EXTRAS!!" Explosions went off in his palms as screams errupted from the boys.
Down the hall, you and the girls let out a boisterous laugh as you heard the chaos from a few doors down. The you heard marching footsteps and Aizawa tell them to quiet down before you heard your boyfriend yell at his friends to stop 'getting in his fucking buisness'.
You rolled your eyes as Momo looked at you from the bed. "You got lucky huh (Y/n)?"
"Yeah....yeah I did."
OH MY GOD PART 2 IS DONE 4034 WORDS FOR THE STORY. THIS IS MY LONGEST CHAPTER YET. Also, there will be a part three which is a huge fluff chapter and then a chapter 4 which is a giant ass lemon. I may make a part 5 which is a few years in the future if people decide they want it. We will see. Anyway, Im heading to bed. Goodnight and I hope you all enjoyed!!
