Shawn just asked if we could hang out so now I'm getting ready to meet him at the park. I just don't know what I'm going to wear.
"UGH" I groan
"What's your problem?" Maddie asks
"I don't know what to wear" I say
"Just wear jeans and a nice shirt or something it's not like it's a date" Maddie says
"Thanks" I say
"Yup" Maddie says
Maddie leaves and I pull out my black jeans and black and white flowery shirt. I put on a charm bracelet and brush out my hair. After I put on some makeup I run downstairs and throw my converse on.
"Mom I'm going out for a bit" I call
"Okay have fun" mom yells back
I walk over to the park and find shawn at the swings. He looks amazing in his blue tank top and black shorts.
"Hey" he smiles
"Hi" I smile
"How've you been?" He asks
"I've been good, you?" I say
"Fine, so what've you been up to?" He asks
"I have an EP coming out and I got a dog" I say
"Awesome! What kind of dog?" Shawn asks
"A spaniel, her name is Holly" I tell him
"Aww" shawn smiles
"So what have you been up to?" I ask
"Gathering courage to call you" he tells me
"Aww I'm not that special" I say
"You are to me" shawn smiles
I blush and shawn leans in to kiss me, I lean in too. There's already sparks. Shawn pulls away and we just smile at each other.
"Amanda I know we just met but I feel a connection and I really want to be with you, will you be my girlfriend?" Shawn asks
"Does this answer your question?" I ask
I Pull shawn into a hug then kiss him.
"Yes, yes it does" shawn smiles
Shawn and I sit here looking into each others eyes but we get interrupted by my phone ringing.
"What?" I say
"Drop the attitude and come home for dinner" mom tells me
"Fine" I say
I hang up and look at shawn
"I have to go home" I tell him
"Awe" he pouts
"I'll text you" I tell him
"Alright I'll see you later then" he says
"Alright" I say
Shawn kisses me on the cheek and I head home.
"I'm home" I call
"Come eat" mom calls
I go and sit down at the table, Maddie keeps looking at me.
"You look extra happy, what happened the park?" Maddie asks
"Shawn asks me out" I grin
"Aww!!" Maddie squeals
"Yeah yeah" I say
"Shawn huh?" Marissa asks
"I'll bring him over soon" I say
"Good" mom says
After dinner I go up to my room and shawn calls me, we end up talking all night.
