[The Masked Boy kept walking. He was set on dueling Carly and Misty next. He didn't walk for long when he found Carly]
Carly: You have arrived, JP (Original). Are you ready to duel?
Masked Boy: I am.
Carly: You look exhausted. Are you sure you have the strength to do this?
Masked Boy: I'll do anything to get one of the girls that I love back.
Carly: Very sweet for you to say. We won't be won back easily. You better put up your best.
Masked Boy: If I beat you then you'll be sent to the Netherworld.
Carly: It won't be all bad. If we lose, we know that you'll do everything to save us. Misty feels the same way.
Masked Boy: I wish we didn't have to do this.
Carly: Me too. It's nothing personal.
[The Masked Boy starts walking towards Carly but is stopped when Ancient Fairy Dragon lands in front of him]
Masked Boy: What is the meaning of this?
Ancient Fairy Dragon: You need to rest, JP (Original). You've done enough. You need to let the others help you.
Masked Boy: No. I won't let anyone die today.
Ancient Fairy Dragon: Look at yourself. You're exhausted. It's possible you would lose before the duel even finished.
Masked Boy: That's the chance I'll just have to take.
Ancient Fairy Dragon: I'm sorry but you aren't dueling Carly. Someone else will.
[The rest of the group arrives. The Masked Boy sees Luna]
Masked Boy: Luna, please get Ancient Fair Dragon to move.
Luna: I can't do that, JP (Original). I'm doing this because I love you.
Masked Boy: If you loved me then you would let me protect you.
Luna: You have protected us. Now it's time for us to show you that we love you and help you out.
Masked Boy: I won't let you do that.
[Rin walks over to the Masked Boy]
Rin: JP (Original), give me your duel disk.
Masked Boy: Why would I do that?
Rin: I don't have a deck for when I duel Carly.
Masked Boy: You aren't facing Carly.
Rin: JP (Original), give me your duel disk. Your deck is the best chance I have to beat Carly. If you want me to be safe then you'll hand over your duel disk.
[The Masked Boy is hesitant]
Rin: JP (Original), let me help you. Let me show that I love you.
[The Masked Boy gives Rin his duel disk. Rin takes the duel disk and approaches Carly]
Carly: Who are you?
Rin: My name is Rin and I will be your opponent.
Carly: I'm sorry but I'll only duel, JP (Original).
Rin: I'm sorry but that isn't going to work.
Carly: You won't even finish the duel. If I summon my Earthbound Immortal then you're soul will be devoured.
Rin: I may not have a signer mark but I have something just as good. My bracelet.
Carly: What's so special about it?
Rin: JP (Syncro) gave me this a long time ago. He told me it would protect me. It has each time I needed it to. My soul will not be consumed. Now enough talk. Let's do this.
Carly: Very well. I will face you and when I beat you it will show JP (Original) that I'm more worthy of him than you.
Rin: As a fellows girlfriend of JP (Original), I will do my best to free you.
[Carly activates her duel disk. Her dark sign lights up the ground]
Carly: Let's do this.
[Rin activates her duel disk]
Rin: Let's rev it up.

Rin: I'll go first! My turn. I place one card facedown. I set Timegazer Magician and Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon in my Pendulum Zone. I summon Dragonpulse Magician in ATK Mode!
Dragonpulse Magician: Scale 1: Level 4- 1800 ATK/ 900 DEF
Rin: Turn end. Now I activate the pendelum ability of my Odd Eyes. By sending it to the Extra deck, I can add Stargazer Magician to my hand.

Carly: You think that using hid deck will give you the edge? Guess again! My Fortune Lady's will make quick work of you. My turn. I draw. I play the field spell: Future Vision! Whenever a monster is summoned to the field by normal means, that monster is banished until your next turn. I place two cards facedown and end my turn.

Rin: Why do you think I chose JP's (Original) deck? Pendulum Summoning isn't normal summoning!
Carly: What!
Rin: Your field spell is a waste! My turn. I draw. I use Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician to set the Pendulum Scale! I'm taking control of this duel starting now! I can now summon monsters between Levels 2 and 7 all at the same time! Pendulum Summon! Welcome back, Odd Eyes!
Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon: Scale 4- Level 7- 2500 ATK/ 2000 DEF
Rin: When I have these two monsters in my Pendulum Zone and Pendulum Monster battles, you can't activate any spell or trap cards! You're wide open! Big mistake! Dragonpulse Magician, attack Carly directly!

Rin: I now end my Battle Phase. I activate the special ability of my Nobledragon Magician. By lowering my Odd Eyes Level to 4, I can special summon this monster from my hand!

Rin: You might think you're safe. Well not this turn. My turn. I draw. I use the Pendulum Scale I've already set! Pendulum Summon! Welcome back, Odd Eyes and Nobledragon Magician!
Carly: Didin't those monsters go to the Graveyard?
Rin: Pendulum Monsters go to the Extra Deck. Not the Graveyard. From my hand I activate the spell: Polymerization! I fuse together my Odd Eyes and my Nobledragon Magician! This is it! With the earth-shattering power of this monster, victory's in my sights! I Fusion Summon! Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!

Carly: Ahh!

Carly: I'm okay with what's happening. Save me, Rin. Then take me to our husband.

Rin: I now overlay my Level 4 Dragonpulse Magician and Flash Knight to build the Overlay Network! Cloaked in shadows and relentless in its objective, I call upon the most dangerous of dragons! I XYZ Summon! Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon!
Dark Rebellion: Rank 4- 2500 ATK/ 2000 DEF
Rin: I now have all four heavenly dragons on my field. I end my turn and your swords fade.
Turn 10-Carly

Carly: My turn. I draw.
[Carly places her hand on top of her duel disk]
Carly: There is nothing I can do but stall. I surrender. You win, Rin.
[Carly starts to disappear. Rin and the Masked Boy run towards Carly]
Masked Boy: (Tearing up) Carly, I'm so sorry.
Carly: It's okay. (Tearing up) I know you'll save me and then we'll be together again. Rin?
Rin: Yeah?
Carly: We got ourselves a good one, right?
Rin: We sure did.
Carly: I'll see you on the other side, JP (Original). Now go save Misty!
[Carly vanishes. The Masked Boy begins to cry. Luna, Rin, and Akiza comfort him. Even Mina walked over]
