[The World Duel Carnival continues. All I need is just one more heart piece to enter the finals. Astral hasn't been around lately and I don't know why. I would usually be hunting numbers for Astral but since he doesn't want to be around I decide to take a break from it. I've been hanging with my Photon friends. Dextra barley leaves my side. Nistro respects me now. I settled my fight with Quattro when I dueled him and Trey after they challenged me. Quinton just ignores me. The only person I'm worried about is Vetrix. I know he has something up his sleeve but I've decided to ignore it for now. All that matters is winning this tournament and finding a way to defeat that duelist who came to our "dimension." My deck has changed. I now have some of the Pendulum Cards that he used. I don't care how I got them. I'll use them to take him down. I also got three dragons I've never seen before. I don't care how I got them. I can use them to defeat anyone]
Tori: JP, where did you go?
Cathy: Tori, I'm telling you he's fine!
[Tori and Cathy have been fighting over my attention lately. Cathy has been bolder ever since her duel with some talking dog. They both approach me]
Tori: There you are, JP! You have to hurry! You need to get your last heart piece before the day is over!
Cathy: Have faith in him, Tori. He knows what he's doing.
JP: No, she's right, Cathy. I need to hurry. It's just there are barely any duelists left to face. They either dropped out and won't duel me because of who I am.
[Just then Trey approaches]
Trey: Then have no fear, JP, because I'm willing to be your opponent!
JP: You back for round two, Trey?
Trey: Yes, after my last defeat alongside Quattro, I've been preparing for a rematch. You ready to face me again? This time I'm ready for you and I don't have Quattro getting in my way.
JP: I'm telling you now that I'm not the same duelist you saw last time either, Trey.
Trey: I seriously doubt that but enough talks. Let's get this show on the road. I'll even let you use your number card.
JP: That's a big mistake but it's your defeat.
[JP activates his duel disk]
JP: Duel disk, go! Duel gazer, let's roll! Duel interface set! Time to feel the flow!
Computer: Augmented Reality Vision Link established.
JP/Trey: Let's duel!
[All of my friends gather to watch. Tori, Bronk, Cathy, Flip, and Caswell. I only wish Yuma was here. Even Astral has appeared]
Astral: Let's do this together, JP.
JP: Just like old times!
Trey: Go Photon transformation!
[Trey's outfit changes]
Trey: You going to change?
[I look at Astral and he nods]
JP: I build the overlay network with me and Astral!
[Astral and I overlay and our appearance changes]
Astral: When two hearts beat as one the true power of Zexal is revealed!
JP/Astral: Go Zexal Morph!
Tori: That's the look he used that one time.
Cathy: So cool!
Zexal: Let's do this, Trey.

JP: I'll tell you another time. All that matters is that I'm in the finals! Let's go celebrate with pizza!
[Everyone cheers as we go to get pizza. With this new deck I'm basically unstoppable. Well almost unstoppable. That other guy has other monsters that I've never seen before. My eyes turn blue for a second. Well, I wonder how he would fair against my Barian cards!]
