3rd Person POV
[JP lied in bed feeling exhausted. He was up until very late the night before. Last night they went to the abandoned dorm even though they weren't supposed to. Alexis was "kidnapped" by a Shadow Duelist and he had to beat him in a duel to get her back. He learned that Alexis's brother went missing when he went to this dorm. He did find somethings that belonged to her brother which made her very happy. He was exhausted, but he knew it was about time to wake up. He tried to get out of his bed, but he felt a weight on him. He opened his eyes to find Alexis sleeping on top of him]
JP: (Thoughts) What is she doing here? How did she get in here without me knowing? It's a good thing that I have a single.
[JP stares at Alexis sleeping and slightly smiles]
JP: (Thoughts) She looks so cute when she sleeps. (Whispers) Alexis, time to wake up.
[Alexis snaps awake and turns red in embarrassment]
Alexis: I'm sorry about this, JP! I couldn't sleep last night so I came to talk to you, but you were already asleep, and I felt very sleepy and didn't want to go back to my room so I just laid down.
JP: It's cool. Just don't tell Celina. She would kill me.
[JP then hears a voice which made him wish he was dead]
Celina: She already knows!
[JP and Alexis see Celina with a dark aura around her]
Celina: Care to explain what's going on?
JP: Celina, this isn't what it looks like?
Celina: Oh really? It looks like you were having lots of fun last night. Am I wrong?
JP: Totally. She came of her own free will. I didn't invite her.
Celina: I don't believe you.
Alexis: Anyway, how did you get in her, Slifer? This is the Obelisk dorm.
Celina: I came to tell him something and I was allowed in because it concerns his brother.
JP: What did Jaden do this time?
Celina: Apparently someone snitched that he and Syrus were at the girls' dorm and now they must win a duel to not be expelled.
JP: Who would do that? No one else was there.
[Celina glares at Alexis]
Celina: I have my suspicions. Anyway, Jaden wanted to know if you wanted to help him and Syrus to train for their duel.
JP: Yeah, I'll be right over.
Alexis: JP, I was hoping we could hang out.
JP: Well, you can hang out when I'm helping my brother.
Alexis: I was hoping to be alone.
[Celina glares at Alexis]
JP: Sorry. That will have to be another day.
Alexis: I understand. I'll still come with you anyway.
Celina: You shouldn't. This is a family matter.
Alexis: If it was then why are you allowed to come along?
Celina: JP is basically family to me.
Alexis: Well family can't date each other.
[Celina and Alexis glare at each other. JP tries to break the tension]
JP: Let's just go.
Celina/Alexis: Sure.
[The three walk over to the Slifer Red dorm and see Jaden with Syrus and Chumley. JP walks over]
JP: It sounds like you guys were set up.
Jaden: Yeah, I thought after we one that duel we would be home free. I guess not. Did Celina tell you she was also on that list of being expelled?
[JP turns to Celina]
JP: No, she didn't.
Celina: I didn't want to worry you.
JP: Well I am now.
[Alexis just scowls]
JP: So, you must win a duel too?
Celina: Yeah. I'm doing my alone though. I was given the option of someone dueling in my place.
JP: I'll do it.
Celina: JP, I couldn't ask you to do that. If you lose you'll be expelled.
JP: I've made up my mind. I'm going to face all of you today. First Syrus, then Jaden, and then ending with Celina. We start now. Syrus, get ready to face me.
Syrus: Oh dear. (Thoughts) His deck reminds me of my brothers.
[They both activate their duel disks]
JP: Get your game on, Syrus!
Turn 1-JP

JP: I'll go first. My turn. I summon Cyber Dragon Core in ATK Mode!
Cyber Dragon Core: Level 2- 400/ 1500 DEF
JP: This monsters name becomes Cyber Dragon. I activate its effect. I can add one Cyber Dragon trap or spell card to my hand. I choose Cyber Repair Plant. Turn end.
Turn 2-Syrus

Syrus: Here I go. My turn. I draw. I summon Patroid in ATK Mode.
Patroid: Level 4- 1200 ATK/ 1200 DEF
Syrus: Now destroy his Cyber Dragon! Siren Smasher.

Syrus: I end my turn with a face down.
Turn 3-JP

JP: You'll have to better than that, Syrus, if you're going to win because I'm finishing the duel right now. From my hand I activate a spell: Cyber Repair Plant. This allows me to add one Cyber Dragon monster to my hand. I choose Cyber Dragon. It won't stay in my hand for long because I summoning it! As you know if you control monsters and I don't I can summon this monster from my hand without tributing!
Cyber Dragon: Level 5- 2100 ATK/ 1800 DEF
JP: From my hand I activate a spell: Lightning Vortex! By discarding one card I can destroy all of your face up monsters!
Syrus: No! I'm wide open!
JP: I summon Cyber Dragon Zwei in ATK Mode!
Cyber Dragon Zwei: Level 4- 1500 ATK/ 1000 DEF
JP: I now activate its effect. By showing one spell card in my hand I can change its name to to Cyber Dragon! I choose to reveal: Power Bond!
Syrus: Oh no! Not that card!
Chumley: Syrus is in deep trouble now. Unless he has a way of out this he's a goner.
JP: From my hand I activate a spell: Power Bond! I fuse together my two Cyber Dragons! I fusion summon! Cyber Twin Dragon!
Cyber Twin Dragon: Level 8- 2800 ATK/ 2100 DEF
JP: Thanks to Power Bond its ATK is doubled.
Cyber Twin Dragon-2800 ATK - - - 5600 ATK
JP: This monster can attack twice. This duel is over! Go Cyber Twin Dragon, attack Syrus directly and end this duel! Double Strident Blast!
Syrus: Ahh!

[JP walks over to Syrus to help him up. Syrus starts to cry]
JP: What's wrong, Syrus?
Syrus: Your deck reminds me so much of my brothers. He also has a Cyber Dragon Deck.
JP: I'm sorry if I brought up bad memories.
Syrus: No! I'm happy! I have someone I know someone who can put my brother in his place!
JP: That's good. Jaden, you're up.
[Jaden activates his duel disk]
Jaden: Been a while since we've done this, little brother.
JP: It won't be the last.
JP/Jaden: Get your game on!

JP: I'll start. My turn. I place one card face down and summon Cyber Dragon Core in ATK Mode.
Cyber Dragon Core: Level 2- 400 ATK/ 1500 DEF
JP: This monster allows me to add a Cyber Dragon Trap or Spell card to my hand and its name becomes Cyber Dragon. I choose Cyber Repair Plant. Turn end.
Turn 2-Jaden

Jaden: I see what you're up to, little bro. My turn. I draw. From my hand I activate a spell: Reinforcement of the Army! This allows me to add 1 Level 4 or lower Warrior-type monster from deck to my hand. I choose Elemental Hero Prisma! From my hand I activate a spell: Terraforming. This allows me to add a field spell to my hand. I choose: Neo Space! I activate it now. Elemental Hero Neos and his monsters gain a 500 ATK Boost. I summon a monster: Elemental Hero Prisma! I activate his special ability. I can send one fusion material monster to the Graveyard and this monster's name becomes that monster. I send Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin. Reflect Change! From my hand I activate a spell: NEX. I can send one Neo Spacian monster I control to the Graveyard and Special Summon 1 Level 4 monster with the same name.
JP: Brother, you're not achieving anything because your monster became a Level 3 Monster. Now I can look through your Extra Deck.
Jaden: Oh right. My field is empty, but I guess I end my turn.

JP: Battle. Cyber Dragon Zwei and Cyber Dragon, attack Jaden directly!
Jaden: At the same time?
JP: I don't choose favorites!

Syrus: JP isn't holding back.
Celina: Of course not. Who do you think is dueling?

Jaden: Now its effect activates. By sending Neo Spacian Glow Moss to the Graveyard, the monster's name is changed. Reflect Change! Now I summon Neo Spacian Air Hummingbird!

I reveal Overload Fusion. From my hand I activate a spell: Cyber Dragon Repair Plant. I can one Cyber Dragon monster from my deck to my hand. I choose Cyber Dragon Drei. I won't stay there for long because I'm summoning it.
Cyber Dragon Drei- Level 4- 1800 ATK/ 800 DEF
JP: This monster becomes Cyber Dragon. I can activate its ability. All Cyber Dragons on my field become Level 5.
Celina: Here it comes.
JP: I overlay my two Level 5 Cyber Dragons to build the Overlay Network! I XYZ Summom! Come forth! Rank 5! Cyber Dragon Nova!

JP: I'm not done. I rebuild the Overlay Network. I XYZ Summon! Come forth! Rank 6! Cyber Dragon Infinity!

Jaden: I'm in trouble.
JP: Cyber Dragon Infinity gains 200 ATK for each overlay unit.

JP: I activate the special ability of my Cyber Dragon Infinity. Once per turn I can take one ATK monster and turn it into an overlay unit. I choose Elemental Hero Prisma. Now my monster gains another 200 ATK

Jaden: No! Well, I have a counter and I've been waiting to use it! From my hand I activate a spell: Miracle Contact! By shuffling Neo Spacian Air Humming Bird into my deck I can summon from my Extra Deck: Elemental Hero Air Neos!
Elemental Hero Air Neos: Level 7- 2500 ATK/ 2000 DEF
Jaden: Since my LP is lower than yours, my monster gains ATK equal to the difference. Now attack, JP! Skyrip Wing!
JP: Ahh!

Jaden: Bet you didn't see that coming, little bro.
Syrus: Jaden might win this.
Celina: I won't be so sure.
Syrus: What do you mean? JP's field is empty, and I doubt he has monster that's greater than 3000 ATK. All he can do is go on the defensive.
Celina: Just watch.
Jaden: Thanks to Neo Space, my monster doesn't have to return to the Extra Deck like it normally would. I end my turn. Let's see you get out of this little, bro.

JP: My turn. Draw. Sorry, Jaden. You came close but not close enough.
Jaden: What? There's nothing you can do! Unless...
[Jaden has a flashback of looking at JP's deck and sees a specific card]
Jaden: You have that card in your hand!
JP: Of course I do. I usually don't use it for obvious reasons but it comes in handy this time. First I summon Cyber Valley in ATK Mode!
Cyber Valley: Level 1- 0 ATK/ 0 DEF
JP: Now this is the end! By banishing all my LIGHT Machine Type Monsters from my field and Graveyard I special summon from my hand Cyber Eltanin!
Cyber Eltanin: Level 10- ??? ATK/ ??? DEF
Alexis: What a strange monster! It has no ATK or DEF points.
Celina: Just watch.
[Alexis glares at Celina]
JP: This monster's ATK and DEF become the numbers of monsters I banish times 500. I'm banishing six monsters. That means my monster gains 3000 ATK and DEF.
Syrus: What's the point? Now they're equal.
Jaden: Not quite, Syrus. Thanks to his monster's ability.
JP: The best part of this monster is that when it's special summoned it sends all other face up monsters on the field to the Graveyard!
Syrus: No way!
JP: Now I activate the ability of my monster! Constellation Siege!
Syrus: He was so close.
Celina: JP had this planned from the beginning. He knows Jaden's deck inside and out.
JP: Battle. Now Cyber Eltanin, attack Jaden directly and end this duel! Draconis Ascension!
Jaden: Ahh!
Jaden-1250 LP - - - 0 LP
Winner: JP
[JP walks over to Jaden to help him up]
Jaden: Almost had you, little bro.
JP: Closer than usual.
[Celina activates her duel disk]
Celina: Let's do this, JP.
Alexis: Hate to do this...(Whispers) Not really...(Out loud) But it's time to eat so we'll have to do this another time.
[Celina glares at Alexis in anger. Before they start walking, JP talks to Syrus]
JP: Don't worry, Syrus. I'll duel your brother and set him straight.
Syrus: You'll really do that?
JP: Sure.
[JP looks and sees a Masked Boy but then he vanishes. JP shakes his head thinking he's seeing things]
