JP POV
[It's been a few days since my last duel with Caswell. After I've beaten him he's sort of forced himself into my group of friends. I don't really mind. For a few days now, I've been stalked by a boy who is called Flip. He's been stalking trying to give me this XYZ monster. I have no need for it nor do I want it. I obviously know something is up with that card and I'm too smart to fall for that. It's getting annoying though so I'm just going to face him]
3rd Person POV
[Flip approaches JP with the XYZ Monster]
Flip: JP! I'm so glad I've finally caught up with you! I'm such a huge fan of yours. I got this XYZ Monster and I was hoping you would add it to your deck!
[Before JP could answer, he is pulled away by Tori and Bronk]
JP: Guys, I know you're my friends, but I had that under control.
Bronk: You need to stay away from Flip.
Tori: Yeah, he's bad news!
JP: Do you think I don't know that? He's been stalking me for the past few days. It's getting annoying, so I think I'm just going to face him this time.
Tori: So, are you going to be okay?
JP: I'll be fine. Trust me. I must put him in his place.
[Astral appears next to JP]
Astral: His behavior is strange. He must have a Number Card.
JP: That's why I need to face him.
Astral: Well, I guess the best plan of attack is to wait for him to meet us.
JP: Tori, Bronk, hide for a bit until Flip approaches me and challenges me to a duel. Then you guys can come cheer me on!
Tori: Okay, JP, we're trusting you. Don't get hurt.
JP: I'll be fine. It's just Flip. He's basically Caswell with all his Trap Cards. His name is Flip. It's in his name.
Tori: Okay, as long as you promise not to get hurt.
JP: I'll be fine, Tori. I think it's sweet you're so worried about me.
[Tori's face turns very red]
Tori: Well...I...uh...
[JP just laughs]
JP: See you later, guys.
[JP walks away from the two waiting for Flip to ambush him. He was right on cue]
Flip: JP! So, I've hoped...
JP: Let's cut to the chase, Flip. You want to duel me, right? That card is just a trap for me to duel you. I know who you are and what you do.
Flip: I see that my reputation proceeds me.
JP: Not always a good thing.
[Just then Tori and Bronk arrive with Yuma]
Bronk: Did we miss the butt whoopin?
JP: No. You're actually a little bit early. (Turns to Flip) Let's do this Flip!
[The Masked Boy steps into view]
Masked Boy: I would like to take a crack at this nut job.
[Everyone turns around in surprise]
JP: Who are you?
Masked Boy: That doesn't matter. I want to face Flip. He gave me such a hard time last time.
Flip: What do you mean last time? I've never seen you in my life.
Masked Boy: And if I don't fix things you never will again.
Bronk: What are you talking about?
Masked Boy: Doesn't matter. I want to face Flip. I also want to prove Yuma's innocence. No one messes with my friends.
Flip: You know about that?
Yuma: Excuse me, Mr. Masked Man? You said we were friends. I've never seen you in my life! I've actually never told you my name.
Masked Boy: I've been around watching turn of events.
Flip: I don't want to face you! I want to face the boy who's beaten Shark.
Masked Boy: I've beaten him. He's never beaten me. Besides, you'll have a lot more fun with me instead of JP. All due respect, JP.
JP: Of course.
[The Masked Boy turns to Tori and Bronk]
Masked Boy: Tori, Bronk, nice to see you again.
Bronk: Uh, hi?
Tori: Hi?
Masked Boy: Your hair looks lovely today, Tori.
Tori: (Blushes) Aww, thank you.
Bronk: Has anyone noticed that JP and that Masked Guy sound the same?
Yuma: Now that you mention it...
Masked Boy: I probably shouldn't do this but I'm going to anyway. Time to break out the old duel disk!
[The Masked Boy brings out a duel disk]
Masked Boy: Duel Disk, go! Duel Gazer, let's roll! Duel Interface, set! Time to feel the flow! Man I've missed saying that!
Computer: Augmented Reality Link Established.
Masked Boy/Flip: Let's duel!
[JP, Tori, Yuma, and Bronk look on]
JP: What does he mean by last time?
Yuma: No clue!
Turn 1-Masked Boy

Masked Boy: I'll go first. Get set to get decked! My turn. I know all your tricks, Flip. You gave me such a hard time last time, but I've found a way to counter your strategy!
Flip: Let's see if you do!
Masked Boy: Trust me. I've waited a long time for this. My turn. I place a face down. I now put Odd Eyes Pendulum in my Pendulum Zone.
JP: Pendulum Zone?
Yuma: I've never heard that before!
Masked Boy: Turn end. I now activate the special ability of Odd Eyes in my Pendulum Zone! By sending him to the extra deck I add a Pendulum Monster with 1500 ATK or less from my deck to my hand. I choose: Timegazer Magician!
Yuma: What's a pendulum monster? Any idea JP?
[JP starts seeing visions]
Yuma: You okay, JP?
JP: I'm fine.
Masked Boy: Turn end. You're up, Flip.
Turn 2-Flip

Flip: You're not so tough! You couldn't summon a monster! My turn. I draw. I play Des Lacooda in ATK Mode!
Des Lacooda: Level 3- 500 ATK/ 600 DEF
Flip: Now I'll attack you directly!
Masked Boy: Trap Card, open! Scrap Iron Scarecrow! This trap card negates your attack and then goes back down to summoning position!
Flip: A trap card that stays?
Bronk: I've never heard of something like that!
Flip: I flip my monster face down and set a face down and end my turn.
Turn 3- Masked Boy

Maksed Boy: My turn. Draw. Time to get really crazy! I use Scale 1 Dragonpulse Magician and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician to set the Pendulum Scale! I'm taking control of this duel starting now!
Dragonpulse Magician: Scale 1: Level 4- 1800 ATK/ 900 DEF
Timegazer Magician: Scale 8- Level 3: 1200 ATK/ 600 DEF
JP: What's happening?
Masked Boy: Now I can summon monsters between Levels 2 and 7 all at the same time! Swing far, Pendulum! Carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready to swing into action! Turn up the heat, Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon in ATK Mode! Also joining is Elemental Hero Woodsman in DEF Mode.

Bronk: Two monsters in one turn?
Yuma: Also, one of them is a high-powered dragon!
[When Odd Eyes appears, JP's chest starts to burn like fire]
JP: Ahh!
Tori: JP, what's wrong?
JP: Something is wrong with me! My chest feels like it's on fire!
[The Masked Boy's eyes start to glow]
JP: What's going on?
Masked Boy: Battle. When I have Timegazer Magician in my Pendulum Zone and a Pendulum Monster attacks, you can't activate any Trap Cards!
Flip: Oh no! That's the same strategy JP had against Shark!
Masked Boy: Odd Eyes, attack his face down! Spiral Flame strike!
Flip: No!
[Odd Eyes destroys the face down monster which was Des Lacooda]
Masked Boy: The good thing for you is that my turn is just about done.
Flip: You're going to summon again?
Masked Boy: Yes, I am. I summon Flamvell Guard in ATK Mode.
Flamvell Guard: Level 1- 100 ATK/ 2000 DEF
Flip: What a lame monster!
Masked Boy: It isn't lame! Check out what it can do! I tune my Level 1 Flamvell Guard with my Level 7 Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Clustering wishes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon! Level 8! Take flight, Stardust Dragon!

Yuma: Another dragon?
[JP's deck starts to glow. He pulls out his card that is glowing. The card is Utopia]
Masked Boy: Turn end.

Flip: Your tricks don't scare me! My turn. I draw! I place a monster face down in DEF Mode and play the spell card: Swords of Revealing Light! Now you can't attack for three turns. I end my turn.
Turn 5-Masked Boy

Masked Boy: My turn. Draw. You're just stalling! I activate the special ability of my Elemental Hero Woodsman. During my Standby Phase I can add a Polymerization spell card from my deck or Graveyard to my hand! I now use the Pendulum Scale I've already set! Pendulum Summon! Welcome back, Odd Eyes! Joining the group will be Goblinbergh!
Goblinbergh: Level 4- 1400 ATK/ 0 DEF
Flip: Shouldn't have that monster have gone to the Graveyard?
Masked Boy: Pendulum Monsters don't go to the Graveyard. They go to the extra deck! I'm not done. Not even close! I now overlay my Level 4 Goblinbergh and Elemental Hero Woodsman to build the Overlay Network! Cloaked in shadows and relentless in its objective, I call upon the most dangerous of dragons! [JP's chest burns even more]
JP: Ahh!
Masked Boy: I'm still not done! I activate the special ability of my Nobledragon Magician from my hand. By lowering Odd Eyes's level to Level 4 I can special summon this card from my hand.
Nobledragon Magician: Level 3: 700 ATK/ 1400 DEF
Yuma: He keeps summoning monsters!
Masked Boy: That's right, Yuma, and I'm about to again! I tune Level 3 Nobledragon Magician with Level 4 Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Beat your wings to whip up a whirlwind of destruction! I Synchro Summon! Level 7! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!
Yuma: Another dragon!
Masked Boy: I can't do anything else thanks to your Swords. Turn end.

Flip: My turn. I draw. I summon Des Lacooda in ATK Mode! I also flip summon Spirit Reaper!

Flip: I overlay my Level 3 Des Lacooda and Spirit Reaper! With these two monsters I build the Overlay Network! I XYZ Summon! Appear now, Number 30! Use your power to poison everything around you! Acid Golem of Destruction!

Astral: That's his number!

Masked Boy: Then my Dark Rebellion gains those ATK.

Masked Boy: I now activate the spell card Polymerization! I fuse together Odd Eyes and Stargazer Magician! This is it! With the earth-shattering power of this monster, victory's in my sights! I Fusion Summon! Level 8! Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!

Masked Boy: The number of times my new dragon can attack depends on the Level of the monster fused together with Odd Eyes. Also, since it was fused with a Pendulum monster it's unaffected by card effects this turn. That means I can attack! Rune Eyes, attack Acid Golem with Spiral Sky Shot!

Flip: No! How did he see that coming?
Masked Boy: Clear Wing now gains the ATK of the monster destroyed for this turn only.

Flip: Oh no!

Bronk: How many dragons does he have?

JP: Who are you and where did you come from?
Masked Boy: I'm not from around here. I wish I could stay but I can't. It was great to see all of you again.
JP: We have so many questions!
Masked Boy: They'll have to answered at another time. If I fix things, then you'll be able to. Until then though...
[The Masked Boy looks at the group]
Masked Boy: I've missed you guys so much. Flip, I should introduce you to a girl I know. Her name is Aura.
Flip: Can you introduce me?
Masked Boy: She's not from around here. Also, she has a major crush on two other boys.
Flip: Aww.
Masked Boy: Tori, take care. You're beautiful person! Take care, guys.
[Toru turns very red. The Masked Boy vanishes]
Bronk: Too bad we couldn't ask him any questions.
Yuma: Yeah, I wanted to know how he dueled like that.
Tori: I guess we'll never know.
Yuma: Flip, will you prove my innocence?
Flip: Yes, Yuma, it's only fair if I do so. I also don't want that guy coming back again.
[Astral retrieves the Number Card from Flip. The group walks away. Two people watched the duel from the shadows. One duelist loves water monsters and the other loves his Galaxy Eyes. They were curious to find out where that Masked Boy came from and how could they get powerful like him]
