Peter laughed as the knife was plunged into his side. The man growled. Wait I bet you're confused. Well let me summarize it, some jackasses kidnapped Peter and his class for ransom. Right now? Peter is being tortured because he doesn't want his class to get hurt. His class though, was across the room watching the man torture Peter who would just laugh. The man frustrated left into the next room. After a few minutes Peter groaned.
"Asshole's that actually hurts a shit ton. God I hope Tony and the rest are on their way. I don't know how long I can take this." Peter groaned. He heard sobbing and looked up to see his classmates crying. To be honest, Peter knew he looked bad. For the past 2 hours the men have constantly beat Peter stabbed him and shot him. They've only shot him in the legs/thighs but it still hurt none the less. He had blood running down half his face, over his left eye. Whenever he opened it Blood threatened to go in his eye. He had a few broken ribs and soon to be a punctured lung. His leg was broken, that was for sure. Through it all Peter would not scream once. He would laugh through it all.
"Hey don't worry, we'll get out of here soon I promise." Peter said with a soft tone even though his hope was slipping. He looked around the room again, having analyzed it immediately the second he woke up, he looked again. The room was huge, had to be a warehouse if their where more rooms. There were 8 windows 2 on each wall, but none huge, small ones, only enough to provide light. There was 2 doors on the right and 1 on the left. The men always leave and come in from the right. Peter doesn't know what the left one is though. He tugged at his restrains and realized how easy they were to snap now. He couldn't just snap out of them immediately cause that would have been suspicious.
"Peter?" Peter looked at his class mates and nodded.
"What's up?"
"Why are you letting them hurt you? Why do you laugh?" It was Abraham. Peter sighed and looked down before looking back up and answering,
"If me taking the beatings means you guys don't get hurt I'm ok with that. This isn't my first kidnapping and I highly don't believe it will be my last, but I've learned is that they want to hear you scream, know your feeling pain. So I laugh. Take's my mind off of the actual situations. Just don't worry ok? We'll get out of here soon. I promise." The room was basked in silence once more, except the initial sniffle or sob. A few minutes paced when the men came back in but with a table that had a few things on it.
"Now since Stark doesn't seem to be coming how about we send him a little video of us marking you HM? How would you like that Pedro? To have the Arc Reactor burned into your skin?" Kids gasped as Peter Spat at the man, his saliva mixed with blood.
"Give it your worst shot." Peter said glaring at them. They pulled of the blanket to show a metal that was in deed shaped as the arc reactor. The metal was bright red, showing it was just pulled out of a fire. The men picked it up with something as another man ripped of Peter shirt, to show other scars. They were from being shot and stabbed and more. His class gasped as the man smirked. The one who ripped of Peter's shirt picked up a camera and started recording.
"Looks like this will just be another scar to add huh? Let's make it as painful as we can." He started pushing the metal on Peter's chest, in the middle of both pecks. The students screamed for the men to stop as the only thing Peter could hear and smell is his burning flesh. He bit his tongue causing it to bleed trying so hard not to scream. The man weren't happy about this so he pushed harder, shocking Peter causing him to scream. The men were happy and pushed more and more, laughing. Peter got his screams under control and started laughing instead. This caused the men to stumble back shocked, the one with the metal dropping it to the ground. The one with the camera shook in fear. Peter looked at the men despite the burning pain in his chest.
"That the worst you got?" He snapped his ropes in half and stood. He looked at his class and smiled.
"I would close your eyes for this." And they did. All of them. Peter looked at the men who was pressing the metal onto his chest. He gave him an evil smirk, before putting a foot on the man's rib cage, adding pressure causing them to break under his leg. The man desperately tried to get it off but failed non-the less. The ribs broke into the man's lungs which started filling up with blood. In a few minutes the man was dead, blood dripping from his mouth, a puddle under his head. He turned to the other man who was still recording and gave him a sadistic smile, he charged at the man, causing him to scream and drop the camera and run. But not fast enough. Peter jumped the man, literally, landed on his shoulders and snapped his neck. He jumped off the man before his body hit the floor. Peter looked at the men before falling to his knees and coughing harshly. The metal had gone through several layers of skin. He refused to look at it so he grabbed one of the men's shirts and put it on.
He stood up shakily and walked to his class.
"You guys can open your eyes now. I promised I'd get us out right?" The kids opened their eyes and where met with a bloodied Peter and 2 dead men. They gasped in shock. Peter carefully cut the ropes of the students with the knife that had been stabbed in his side half an hour ago. Once all 20 students were out they stood close.
"Where's the exit?" Flash asked.
"I don't know but I'm going to try the door to the right. Stay here though, I don't want it being a bomb and it going off ok?" Everyone nodded mutely to scarred to speak and Peter limped to the door. He yanked the door open and lo- and behold it was the exit. Peter sighed in relief before he turned to the others and nodded.
"Come on, let's run out of here. Everyone get out and stay at least 100 feet away in case something happens ok?" Peter says. Everyone nods again as MJ takes lead. Quickly all 20 students are out but Peter. Peter turns from the door and picks up the camera that was tilted on its side after falling. He took the memory out and broke the actual camera with his foot. He walked out closing the door and hearing a ticking. His eyes widened.
"EVERYONE GET AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN THERE'S A BOMB QUICK!!!" All the kids ran farther as Peter let go of the handle and started running to catch up with them when he heard a big
BOOM!!
He felt his body get thrown across the ground, and the burning pain on his back. He attempted to stand to only find out he can't. There was a piece of the building on his legs. He saw his class stop once they saw him stuck. They ran back and helped Peter push it off. Flash and James helped Peter up and walk.
2 Hours later
A helicarrier stopped in front of the students who got into defensive poses. Peter pushed to the front despite everyone's yells for him to stop. He stopped a meter away and smiled. S.H.I.E.L.D. It opened up as medics came running out helping the kids as Tony Stark ran out and hugged Peter who hissed in pain. Tony pulled away.
"What's wrong? Are you hurt?"
"He's badly hurt, to be honest he should be getting immediate attention not us! He's the one who was tortured!" Flash yelled out. Everyone stopped and turned to Peter who was pale and swaying on his feet. Tony grabbed him before he fell.
"SHIT PETER." Tony yelled. 2 medics ran out with a stretcher and gentle put Peter on the stretcher. Peter grabbed Tony's hand and gave him something before the medics rolled him away. Everyone went into the helicarrier and into the med bay getting checked over. Peter in a separate room. Tony looked at the thing in his hand. It was a camera's memory card. He walked towards Fury who was telling Agents orders.
"Sorry to interrupt but Fury Pete gave me this before the medics took him away. I think this might have the answers on what they did to him."
"Alright let's see what's in this." Fury said taking the chip and having it scanned. A video popped up on a hologram.
"Hey stark, guess who we have? You might have guessed it. Your beloved peter and his class. We want a ransom of 2 million dollars and we'll give you the class in one piece. Little Pedro, maybe not." The man walked into a room that held the 20 students who were tied to a bunch of chairs facing Peter who was on the other side of the room. The man placed the Camera down before grabbing a gun and smiling at the Camera and then Peter. Peter was unconscious while his class was screaming for him to wake up. The man shot the gun at the ceiling twice which silenced the class. TM (The man) walked towards Peter and shot him in the thigh twice. This caused Peter to snap his head up and scream in pain, waking him up from his unconscious state. The next few minutes showed Peter being shot by the man 3 more times in the other leg before getting bored and throwing the gun to the side and kicking Peter. He kicked and punched Peter to the point where cracks where heard. The man ever took out a knife and slashed at Peter's skin as his class sobbed and screamed. "Holy shit" Tony and Fury turn around to see the Avengers standing there, anger clear on their faces.
"Is he ok now?" Natasha asked.
"He is." They turned around to see Bruce who was taking a few deep breaths after watching that.
"I came to inform you that he has 4 broken ribs, 1 bruised rib, left lung punctured, right leg broken, Many cuts, stab wound on the left bottom abdomen, and.... And the arc reactor burned into his skin. After it heals it will be permanently there." Bruce said, hands turning a little green. Tony nodded before running to Peter's room to see him wrapped up in bandages. He was sleeping with his classmates surrounding him, some sleeping, others crying. Tony walked into the room, heads turned up and eyes widened. He gave them a weak smile before walking over to Peter, tears in his eyes.
"Dammit Pete you said you'd stay out of trouble. What am I going to tell Pepper? How am I going to explain to her that you now have the fucking arc reactor BURNED onto your skin forever? Even after it heals..... What would I do without you Pete?" Tony asked, his voice cracking as a few tears escaped his eyes.
"You'd probably over work yourself." Everyone gasped, the kids who were asleep woke up and stared at Peter who gave them a small smile.
"I keep ending up here, why is that. I'm sorry. I know you told me to be careful but trouble just seems to follow me everywhere." Peter said, coughing at the end. MJ brought him a glass of water. He drank it and gave it back to her with a grateful smile.
"Like a mini-Steve" Everyone's head turned, and saw Bucky standing in the doorway. He walked over to Peter and ruffled his hair who laughed.
"All of your parents have been called. We'll be landing in New York shortly. About 2 hours or so, so get some rest all of you, especially you Peter. Those of you who are willing, come with me to get something to eat and then we can go to a separate room to get some answers on what happened, even if we have video footage, we still need answer from the witnesses." Natasha said coming in and giving Peter a kiss on the forehead, who smiled. Everyone but Peter stood. Tony was shocked.
"The men might be dead but what they did still doesn't justify what they did. And they really badly hurt Peter so we'll help." Natasha smiled as Clint came in and helped her get them out, but gave Peter a hug before leaving. Bucky went along, knowing the 2 Stark's needed their space. The 2 stayed in silence before Tony broke the silence.
"God kid I am so so sorry you shouldn't have had to go through that. I watched the footage, your screams.... my god kid. I'm so sorry." Peter pulled Tony into a hug despite the burning pain in his chest.
"I have always wanted to be like you, you have always been my idol. This new scar, it's not going to make me hate you ok dad? Because your my dad Tony and I could never hate you. Despite everything. Tony I'm not scared, well other than mom and her reaction to this, I'm not scared. And I will never regret being your son ok? Because we're family and were there for each other. So don't worry ok? I'll be fine." Peter said.
"God I love you Son."
"I love you too Dad."
