3rd Person POV
[Yusei had just made it into New Domino City along with the Blue Eyes Master and he was greeted by his old rival, Jack Atlas. Yusei had a score to settle with him. Jack had taken not only his duel runner but his most prized monster: Stardust Dragon]
Jack: It's about time you showed up, Yusei! You here for a rematch?
Yusei: You bet I am. I'm here to take back what was mine.
Jack: I see you had help from the famous yet infamous Blue Eyes Master. He's my current rival. He would beat you, Yusei, in a single turn.
Blue Eyes Master: It wasn't either us who beat Trudge. It was this mystery duelist who did. He would probably take you down.
Jack: No one can take down the Master of Faster!
Yusei: Blue Eyes Master, you said you had a score to settle with Jack. What was it?
Blue Eyes Master: He looked at my deck before a match and that was the only way he beat me during the championship. I want a rematch.
[Meanwhile Rex Goodwin looks on from a secret camera inside his HQ]
Goodwin: It seems that the Blue Eyes Master has a score to settle with Jack and I don't blame him. He's lucky he's a beloved duelist in this city or otherwise he would be arrested on the spot. But who is this Mystery Duelist he is talking about?
[The Masked Boy suddenly appears behind Goodwin]
Masked Boy: He's talking about me.
Goodwin: Who are you? Had did you get in here?
Masked Boy: I have my way of getting around.
Goodwin: Foolish you came here. There is no chance of escaping. You're going straight to the facility!
Masked Boy: I already have done that once. It was boring. You won't arrest me anyway.
Goodwin: Why won't I?
Masked Boy: You would miss the show. See you around, Goodwin. Our time will come except it won't be me beating you this time.
[The Masked Boy disappears. Jack, Yusei, and the Blue Eyes Master continue their conversation]
Jack: Who is this mystery duelist? I want to face him. Maybe I'll finally get a challenge.
Blue Eyes Master: He's long gone.
Jack: Let's cut the chit chat. I know Yusei wants a rematch and I'll give it to him. Blue Eyes Master, do you want the next match?
Blue Eyes Master: No. I'll beat you the right way. I'm not getting arrested today.
[The Blue Eyes Master rides away on his duel runner leaving Jack alone with Yusei]
Yusei: I came for that rematch, Jack, and I intend to get it.
Jack: I'll give it to you and after I beat you I'll search for that mystery duelist while you rot in the facility!
[The Masked Boy arrives on his duel runner]
Masked Boy: Neither of those things are happening.
Yusei: It's you! The Mystery Duelist!
Jack: Why are you interrupting our touching reunion?
Masked Boy: You wanted to face me? Here I am. What are you going to do?
Jack: Me and my Red Dragon Archfiend will destroy you.
Masked Boy: Well, me and my dragons say the opposite. So, you want to do this?
Jack: I'll take you down!
Masked Boy: Very well. You wanted to make this a trip down memory lane, right? I'll do that for you.
Yusei: No, you're not dueling for me again.
Masked Boy: I'm not giving you a choice. Let's do this, Jack. I wonder if you're just as good as the Jack Atlas from my Dimension.
Jack: Quit talking nonsense! I'm the only Jack Atlas there is! Enough talk! Let's duel!
[Jack and the Masked Boy prepare to duel]
Jack: When I win you're heading straight to the facility just like Yusei. Let's do this.
Masked Boy: Let's rev it up!
[The field spell is activated, and the two duelists take off on their duel runners]
Turn 1- Masked Boy
Masked Boy-8000 LP/Jack-8000 LP
Masked Boy: I'll start. My turn. I place two cards face down and place Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon in my Pendulum Zone.
Jack: Pendulum Zone? What are you talking about?
Masked Boy: You've never faced a duelist like me. Turn end. I now activate the special ability of my Odd Eyes in my Pendulum Zone. I can send him to the extra deck and I can add a Pendulum Monster with 1500 or less ATK from deck to my hand. I choose Timegazer Magician.
Turn 2- Jack
Masked Boy-8000 LP/Jack-8000 LP
Jack: Some duelist you are! You can't even summon a monster! My turn. I draw. I activate the spell card: Resonator Call. I can now add 1 Resonator monster from my deck to my hand. It won't be staying there for long because I'm summoning it!
Dark Resonator: Level 3- 1300 ATK/ 300 DEF
Jack: Now it will attack you directly!
Masked Boy: Trap Card, open: Scrap Iron Scarecrow! This stops your attack and then goes back down to summoning position!
Jack: You got lucky. I end my turn with a face down.
Turn 3- Masked Boy

Masked Boy: My turn. Draw. I use Scale 1 Dragon Pulse Magician and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician to set the Pendulum Scale. I'm taking control of this duel starting now!
Dragonpulse Magician: Scale 1: Level 4- 1800 ATK/ 900 DEF
Timegazer Magician: Scale 8: Level 3- 1200 ATK/ 600 DEF
Jack: What are you doing?
Masked Boy: I'm not from around here. Dueling has evolved greatly since your time. I can now summon monsters between Levels 2 and 7 all at the same time! Swing far, Pendulum! Carve the Arc of Victory! My monsters are ready to swing into action! Turning up the heat are two Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragons!
Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon: Scale 4: Level 7- 2500 ATK/ 2000 DEF
Jack: Two monsters at once? That should be illegal!
[Yusei and Goodwin watch on in amazement]
Masked Boy: Battle. With Timegazer Magician in my Pendulum Zone, when a Pendulum Monster battles you can't activate any trap cards!
Jack: That's not fair!
Masked Boy: Battle. Odd Eyes, attack his Dark Resonator with Spiral Flame Strike! When Odd Eyes deals damage, it doubles! Reaction Force!
Jack: Ahh!

Jack: Well my monster can't be destroyed in battle once per turn.
Masked Boy: Good thing I have two monsters! Odd Eyes, attack again with Spiral Flame Strike and deal double damage with Reaction Force!
Jack: Ahh!

Jack: You done yet?
Masked Boy: Not just yet. Time to Syncro Summon.
Jack: You can Syncro Summon?
Masked Boy: Can't everyone in this dimension? I summon Flamvell Guard in ATK Mode!
Flamvell Guard: Level 1- 100 ATK/ 2000 DEF
Masked Boy: You wanted a blast from the past well here it is! I tune Level 1 Flamvell Guard with Level 7 Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Clustering wishes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon! Take flight, Stardust Dragon!
Stardust Dragon: Level 8- 2500 ATK/ 2000 DEF
Yusei/Jack: He has a Stardust Dragon?
Masked Boy: Turn end.
Turn 4- Jack
Masked Boy-8000 LP/Jack-3200 LP
Jack: Your tricks won't stop me! My turn. I draw! I special summon Vice Dragon from my hand! When you control monsters and I don't I can special summon this monster but its ATK and DEF are halved.
Vice Dragon: Level 5- 1000 ATK/ 1200 DEF
Jack: I also place a monster face down in DEF Mode and end my turn.
Turn 5- Masked Boy
Masked Boy-8000 LP/Jack-3200 LP
Masked Boy: My turn. Draw. I use the Pendulum Scale I've already set! Pendulum Summon! Welcome back, Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon!
Jack: That monster should've been sent to the Graveyard.
Masked Boy: Pendulum Monsters don't go to the Graveyard. They go to the Extra Deck. Battle. Odd Eyes, attack his Vice Dragon! Spiral Flame Strike!
Jack: No!
Masked Boy: Second Odd Eyes, attack the face down monster! Spiral Flame Strike!
Jack: No!
[Odd Eyes destroys the face down monster which was Dread Dragon]
Dread Dragon: Level 2- 1100 ATK/ 400 DEF
Jack: The special ability of my Dread Dragon activates! I can add 1 Level 3 or lower Dragon-type monster from my deck to my hand.
Masked Boy: Stardust Dragon, attack Jack directly! Shooting Sonic!
Jack: I activate my Battle Fader! I can special summon this monster from my hand in DEF Mode when you attack me directly and end the Battle Phase.
Battle Fader: Level 1- 0 ATK/ 0 DEF
Masked Boy: You got lucky. Turn end.
Turn 6- Jack
Masked Boy-8000 LP/Jack-3200 LP
Jack: My turn. I draw! I place one monster face down in DEF Mode and end my turn.
Turn 7- Masked Boy
Masked Boy-8000 LP/Jack-3200 LP
Masked Boy: My turn. Draw. I summon Timegazer Magician in ATK Mode. I now activate the spell card Polymerization! I fuse together Timegazer Magician with my Odd Eyes. This is it! With the earth-shattering power of this monster, victory's in my sights! I Fusion Summon! Level 8! Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!
Rune Eyes Pendulum Dragon: Level 8- 3000 ATK/ 2000 DEF
Masked Boy: The number of times my monster can attack depends on what level the monster I fused with Odd Eyes was. Timegazer Magician was a Level 3 monster, so my Rune Eyes can attack twice! Also, since it was fused with a pendulum monster as material, it's unaffected by any card effects this turn. I'm not going to attack just yet. I use the Pendulum Scale I've already set! Pendulum Summon! Welcome back, Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon!
Jack: He keeps bringing that monster back!
Masked Boy: Battle. Rune Eyes, take out both of his face downs with Double Spiral Sky Shot!
Jack: No!
[Rune eyes destroys both DEF Mode monsters which were Battle Fader and Dread Dragon]
Masked Boy: Odd Eyes, attack Jack directly! Spiral Flame Strike!
Jack: Ahh!
Jack- 3200 LP - - - 700 LP
Masked Boy: Now Odd Eyes, attack Jack directly and end this duel! Spiral Flame Strike!
Jack: Ahh!
Jack-700 LP - - - 0 LP
Jack: No way! I lost?
Yusei/Goodwin: He lost?
[Before anyone can say anything. The Masked Boy is engulfed in red flames. A large Crimson Dragon appears. The signer Marks on Jack and Yusei begin to glow]
Jack: What's going on?
Yusei: I don't know!
Masked Boy: Well, I do.
[The Masked Boy reveals his signer mark which is the full dragon instead of just one piece]
Masked Boy: But I'll let you figure it out.
[Suddenly Sector Security appears]
Sector Security: Yusei Fudo and Mystery Duelist, you are both under arrest.
Masked Boy: Not today. I'm sorry, Yusei, but I can't get you out of this one.
[The Masked Boy vanishes before anyone could anything. Yusei is arrested and transferred to the facility. Meanwhile, in a place further away, JP discovers his signer mark and he has no idea what it means]
