3rd Person POV
[The new students were being flown to Duel Academy by helicopter. JP sits between Jaden and Celina with Syrus and Bastion behind them. Celina secretly holds hands with JP. She smiles and blushes, but he doesn't seem to notice. As soon as they land, JP, Celina, and Jaden gather up together]
JP: So, I guess we head to our dorms.
Jaden: I guess so. I'll save you a bunk, JP.
JP: I'm not bunking with you, Jaden.
Jaden: Why not?
JP: I'm in the Obelisk Blue Dorm. You two are in the Slifer Red Dorm.
Celina: You mean we're going to be separated? We've always bunked together.
Jaden: Yeah, what she said.
JP: Sorry, guys, but this is where it changes. Don't worry. I'll hangout as often as I can.
Celina: I'm taking that as a promise. You can't back out now.
[Alexis walks over to the group]
Alexis: Excuse me. You're JP, right?
JP: Yes, I am.
[Celina just stares at Alexis]
Alexis: I was told by Dr. Crowler to bring you to the Obelisk Blue Dorm personally.
Celina: Can't you see he was talking to friends? Also, he has legs and can walk.
Alexis: I'm just doing what I'm told. Please follow me, JP.
[Alexis stands waiting for JP]
JP: Well, this is it guys. I'll hang out with you guys later.
Alexis: Oh, you won't be doing much hanging out.
Celina: Why is that?
Alexis: Well, Slifer, it's because he's an Obelisk Blue and we stay with each other. Also, the groups are usually divided anyway.
Celina: That won't stop me. You want to go right now, blondie? We can settle this right here and now.
JP: Celina, chill out.
Celina: No, this girl is getting on my nerves. She thinks she's so much better just because she's in the top class.
JP: Let's just chill.
Alexis: I don't think I'm better than you. I know I'm better than you.
JP: (Shouts) Everyone just calm down!
[Everyone freezes]
JP: Celina, I'll find a way to keep that promise okay? Let's go, Alexis.
[JP and Alexis walk away while Celina watches them. Jaden approaches Celina]
Jaden: Celina, what was all that about?
Celina: Never mind, Jaden. Let's just go to our dorms.
Celina POV
Celina: (Thoughts) I do not like her. No one gets in between me and JP.
3rd Person POV
[Alexis leads JP to the Obelisk Blue dorms]
JP: Thanks for showing me to my place, Alexis. I'm sorry about Celina. She's usually not like that.
Alexis: She's a friend. I get that. Anyway, the welcome dinner will start soon. I'll save you a seat.
[Chazz walks over to JP]
Chazz: You better stay away from Alexis, Newbie. She's my territory.
JP: Whatever you say. I really don't do the whole relationship.
Chazz: The name's Chazz Princeton. Better not forget it because we're going to be rivals. See you around, Newbie.
[JP goes to the welcome dinner. After the dinner is over he later enters his room. He gets a call from his phone]
JP: Hello?
Alexis: JP, come to the duel arena. Your brother is in trouble!
JP: On my way.
[JP heads straight to the duel arena where Celina, Alexis, Jaden, and Chazz are arguing]
Chazz: I'm going to put in your place, Slacker.
Jaden: If you want my best I'll give it to you.
JP: What's going on?
Chazz: What's it look like? I'm going to have a little match with you brother. You better stay out of this, Newbie.
JP: I don't let anyone hurt my family, Chazz. You'll duel me instead.
Jaden: It's okay little bro. I got this.
JP: Fine. Chazz, if you beat Jaden then you'll have to face me.
[Jaden and Chazz prepare to duel]
Chazz: You ready to be trounced, Slacker?
Jaden: I'm always ready. Get your game on!
Turn 1- Jaden

Jaden: I'll start. I play the spell: Polymerization to fuse together my Elemental Hero Necroshade and King of the Swamp to summon: Elemental Hero Absolute Zero.
Elemental Hero Absolute Zero: Level 8- 2500 ATK/ 2000 DEF
Jaden: I'll end my turn with a face down.
Turn 2- Chazz

Chazz: My turn, Slacker. I draw. I play the spell card: Enchanting Fitting Room. By paying 800 LP, I pick up the top 4 cards from the top of my deck and special summon all the Level 3 or below Normal Monsters. I then reshuffle my deck. I special summon Ojama Green in DEF Mode.
Chazz-8000 LP - - - 7200 LP
Ojama Green: Level 2- 0 ATK/ 1000 DEF
Chazz: I now play the spell card: Magical Mallet. I can shuffle any cards in my hand I don't want and then draw the same number that I put back. I end my turn by playing a monster face down in DEF Mode.
Turn 3- Jaden
Jaden-8000 LP/Chazz-7200 LP
Jaden: My turn. I draw. I play the spell card Heated Heart. One Elemental Hero on my field gets a 500 ATK boost. Also, it can inflict piercing damage as well. So, my monster now gets a boost.
Elemental Hero Absolute Zero-2500 ATK - - - 3000 ATK
Jaden: Now my monster will attack Ojama Green! Instant Freeze!
Chazz: Ahh!
Chazz-7200 LP - - - 5200 LP
Jaden: I'll end my turn with that.
Turn 4- Chazz
Jaden-8000 LP/5200 LP
Chazz: You'll pay for that, Slacker. My move. I draw. I place another monster face down in DEF Mode. I now play the spell: Swords of Revealing Light!
[Light swords fall in Jaden's side of the field]
Chazz: Now you can't attack for three turns! I will also flip summon Masked Dragon and end my turn.
Masked Dragon: Level 3- 1400 ATK/ 1100 DEF
Turn 5- Jaden
Jaden-8000 LP/Chazz-5200 LP
Jaden: My turn. I draw. I play a facedown and end my turn.
Turn 6- Chazz

Chazz: Typical of a slacker. My turn. I draw. I place a monster face down in DEF Mode and end my turn.
Turn 7- Jaden

Jaden: My turn. I draw. I play a face down and end my turn.

Chazz: My turn. I draw. I play a facedown and end my turn.

Jaden: My turn. I draw. I activate the field spell Fusion Gate. I can now fusion summon monsters without a Polymerization card. I end my turn. Now your Swords Disappear.
Turn 10- Chazz

Chazz: My move. I draw. I switch Masked Dragon from ATK Mode to DEF mode and end my turn.
Turn 11-Jaden

Jaden: My turn. I draw. I place a monster face down in DEF Mode and end my turn.
Turn 12- Chazz

Chazz: My move. I draw. I activate my trap card: Ojama Trio. This summons three Ojama Tokens to your field. When they are destroyed you take 300 LP of fame. I sacrifice one of my monsters to bring out Genesis Dragon!
Gensis Dragon: Level 6- 2200 ATK/ 1800 DEF
Chazz: Now attack an Ojama Token! Carnage Fireball!
Jaden: I activate my trap card: Mirror Force! Now your monster is destroyed!
Chazz: I end my turn.
Turn 13- Jaden
Jaden-8000 LP/Chazz-5200 LP
Jaden: Time to end this duel! My turn. I draw. I sacrifice and my face down monster and Elemental Absolute Hero to summon Elemental Hero Bladedge!
Elemental Hero Bladedge: Level 7- 2600 ATK/1800 DEF
Jaden: This triggers the special ability of my Elemental Hero Absolute Hero. When he leaves the field all your monsters are destroyed!
Chazz: No!
Jaden: Now your field is wide open! Bladedge, attack Chazz directly! Slice and Dice Attack!
Chazz: Ahh!
Chazz-5200 LP - - - 2600 LP
[Suddenly a noise is heard]
Alexis: Guys, we need to get out of here! Security is coming! I guess Chazz didn't tell you that this is against the rules!
Chazz: We'll finish this another time, Slacker. Until then!
[The whole group runs away]
Jaden: Ah man. I almost had him.
JP: Don't worry. You'll get your chance, bro.
Jaden: I hope so.
[The group start walking to their dorms. JP feels like he's being watched but shrugs it off]
