I am a spirit. Large and spanning several planes of existence.
There are smaller spirits that live within. Small spirits of fox, badger, bird, and others.
I am a cultural identity for the humans. Humans that hold common on an island range large.
Once a symbol of warlord kings. Now a creature feminine completely through.
Not less at all. Equal in authority and skill of tactics.
We fight on new battlefields. Places far away. Further than any skilled arrows ever flew.
We no longer march and place demands of surrender.
We send style and fashion. We send art and illustration. We send stories and scenes of movement.
They pay homage in tribute of money. They bow and proclaim our works the best.
All because long ago, skilled hands drew the smiles of maidens onto irregular paper.
Leaving many to wonder 'Why that maiden smiled that way.'
