As Nick had went back into the green room he had seen the envelope. He had started to wonder what it was and who was the envelope was from and he had started to have a very confused look on his face. As he had seen the front of the envelope he didn't know that it would be from Anna. As he had opened up the envelope little did he realized that there would be something else inside of the letter. As he had opened up the letter he had seen the necklace that he had once given to her was inside of the letter.
I know that you are reading this letter and is wondering why I am crying inside and out. I have come to the terms that I feel that we need to be apart for right now and I know that you had probably had wondered why I wasn't on social media to congratulate you on your engagement. As you are reading this you probably know how heartbroken and extremely devastated I am right about now. I felt that this was all my fault for letting you go. For the last couple of months I have had that feeling that I wanted to just shut everything and everyone out. I know that you had been wondering how I have been with the recovery when you had nearly lost me that night. I am having that same feeling that I had that night when I was going in and out of conscience as I was being taking into the OR that night and you had held on to me. You are wondering if I am upset that you didn't even tell me that you were engaged. No, instead I am completely broken inside and out. Along with the heartbreak I am living with the guilt that I had let you go and I had lost you to her. But I totally understand it cause you love her..Do you remember the necklace that you had given to me that night? I know you are having that worried looked on your face as I am writing this letter. But you probably wouldn't even understand what I'm going through right now from both the hurt and the pain of the post. Anna, I have to get to her before she leaves before I am able to see her again before the actual tour starts. He puts her necklace in his pocket and he then takes off running into the parking lot he sees her car and Maddy in the passenger seat. As Anna was about to get in the car she sees a shadow right behind her. Then little does he realize that he feels so guilty for everything that he had put her through the past hours. He sees Anna in tears and she is beyond hurt and devastated by the news of what was all over social media. She believes that this whole thing was her fault and she is feeling so guilty about the whole thing
Anna, I don't want you to feel sad about it. By what not even telling me about the news of you and her. Anna, I know how hurt you are by this. You..You know what I just need some space and I really need to clear my head from this. I totally understand.. He then pulls her back and he is so frustrated. No, Anna You don't understand it. You are the one that I care about and that one day I will show how much you mean to me. By the way I had read that poem that you had written and had to send to me from some screenshots in your notepad. I want you to know that I'm not going anywhere. I see the guilt in your eyes and you have every right to be mad at me.
As she is still in tears from the whole ordeal he touches her face cause he knows that he really cares about her. He knows that he is wishing that he could even do something about it. He is wishing that he could do something to just take the pain and the guilt away from her and glue her breaking heart back together. He is knowing in his head that he is wishing that he could do more to even make her feel a whole lot better from what she is feeling right about now. Hey, I don't want to see you blaming yourself for it. This wasn't your fault. I only have myself to blame for all of this and I can really see it all in your eyes.
