"Stay.. stay with me" the younger sang, they were in a different practice room, in the states getting ready for a performance. He felt arms around his waist and he jumped turning around to see his boyfriend Johnny was behind him.
"What you listening to?" He asks in English. It was easier for the two said to talk in the language they both knew very well.
"Hm just some blackpink" he says nonchantly. But that wasn't enough for the said male, as he took on of the earplugs putting it in his ear still back hugging the other said male.
But after a second of realizing what he was listening to, he didn't go back to what he was going before. He put his head on the other shoulder slightly swinging them side to side.
Taeyong looked up and couldn't help the smile that overtook his features. He always loved the interaction the two had, many people always thought the two hated each other- or well 'hate' the other male, but here they stood the soft look in Johnny eyes as he watched the younger. Who was freaking out, even if it wasn't shown on his face.
With slow movements, Johnny manages to get Mark sitting down on his lap on the couch instead of walking around.
"Is he ok?" Taeyong decides to ask aloud getting the attention of the others.
"Yeah.. he's just stressed like us. I got him" Johnny smiles, tightening his grip on the younger as he moves around to get comfortable falling asleep.
"How long do we have to sit here?" Johnny asks, seeing Mark falling asleep, head on his chest.
"Hm at least another couple of hours" Taeyong yawns. Answering another text from Renjun about how everything back at the dorm are going.
Nodding Johnny just let's the boy who was comfortably sitting on him dose off to sleep.
"Thanks Johnny" the said males looks up to Taeyong.
"You treat him well. I'm sorry I was questionable about your guys relationship at the beginning" Taeyong looks up with sincere eyes.
"I understand.. a lot of people will always think I am annoyed by him, or that I hate him. I promise neither of those are the case"
"I know.. I see it now" the smile on Taeyongs face not once faltering.
And with that no more conversation is said between the two.

It was a good hour later, and Mark woke up from his nap laying on the semi comfortable couch. Yawning he looks around to see Taeil sitting around on his phone.
"Where is everyone else?" He asks rubbing the sleep from his eyes cutely.
"They went to go get us something to eat. I wanted to stay here and wait til you woke up" the other male says, going back down to his phone to text.
"Thanks hyung" Mark smiles, going over to the said boys side. Side hugging him.
"They should be back in a couple minutes Doyoung said" the male puts down his phone to hug the said boy.
And of course like Doyoung said here walked in the others of Nct 127. Doyoung going over shinning and hugging his boyfriend who was hugging Mark. Mark doesn't take offence to it and just laughs at the said boy.
Johnny walks up sitting by his boyfriend, putting his arms around him cuddling up to the boy. Mark just laughs at the said boy.
"You'll cuddle Taeil-hyung but not me" he whines. Mark snuggling into the said boys side to get him to relax. Johnny picks him up putting him back on his lap to cuddle up closer to the said boy.
The smile on Taeyongs face never once faltered. But he felt bad when he seen the younger once again trying to fall asleep. The performance for Cherry Bomb was soon and one of the main rappers barely was able to keep his eyes open.
"Maaark" Taeyong drags out, the younger groaning at his hyung, air hitting where he 'thought' the boy was.
"Mark Lee I will not hesitate to tickle you" his best friend Haechan says smirking. All the said male did was groan again and hit in the air where he "thought" Hechan was.
"Its ok guys I'll wake him" and with that Johnny began to rub light circles on his boyfriends back. The said boy cuddling up farther onto his chest.
"Correction, letting him fall asleep" corrects Doyoung.
Shrugging Johnny had nothing to say, he just couldn't wake up his adorable boyfriend. Who, was once again almost asleep.
His bangs falling into his eyes, the cute little snores when he was in a deep sleep. He didn't have the heart to wake him.
But of course their manager did" MARK LEE GET UP!"
The said boy wakes up alarmed standing up and bowing apologizing to the manager. Which the other boys felt bad. It was particularly their fault. Or well Johnny's.
"Sorry Manager-hyung I'm the one who let him fall asleep" Johnny stands up bowing at the manager.
Mark rushes to get dressed and get his "makeup" on. And walking back in, there was probably less then five minutes before the performance and him being luckily wide awake. Johnny walked up behind him, back hugging him smiling.
"Manager-hyung wouldn't be happy with you right now. You know how he feels about everyone being affectionate too close to the stage" Mark warns, last thing he wanted was another lecture.
Johnny tries to hide the sad look on his face and let the other go. He can't help but wonder why the younger can't be affectionate towards him. Even around Haechan, he smiled more even on stage. It couldn't help, but cause a storm in his head.
"Are you ok?" Asks Taeyong, as leader he thought more as this everything to make sure they were all ok before performing.
And again Johnny puts on his fake smile and his fake "yeah". It seems to fool all of them now. He's had it mastered over this past year. And he couldn't help, but be glad he had.

And finally it was time to start getting ready for "Regular" promotions. And now, Jungwoo was apart of the 127 crew. Johnny and Mark hadn't grown distance, but Johnny had his wall up.
It was when Mark was too busy laughing along with Jungwoo and play fighting with Haechan when Taeyong couldn't take it anymore. He had been watching Johnny closely and he finally noticed something.
"Johnny" Taeyong presents a look that makes even Johnny shutter.
"What's up?" The perfectly fooling fake smile present.
"I know you're not ok, me you talk outside now" his glaze and words left no arguing for Johnny.
The moment they get outside the room, Johnny leans against the wall. All evidence of the fake smile gone, he knew he couldn't fool Taeyong no more.
"What is going on Johnny.. why have you been acting soo weird. So distant" shining sympathy in his eyes.
Johnny sighs, he didn't want to hide it anymore "it's me and Mark.. I feel like at times, he wants nothing to do with this relationship. Why else would he be more involved in even what Jungwoo does."
Taeyong takes a breathe not sure how to answer "so you think Mark doesn't love you?" He looks up and sees a small shrug from Johnny.
"Honestly, this is between you two. Not no one else. Either you guys figure this out or you can throw, what the last almost three years together away" their was an edge to Taeyongs voice. But being friends with the both of them it was understandable.
Johnny sighs, he saw this answer coming. He answers with a small 'I know.' He knew he couldn't go on like this no more and if he has to go one more day like this he might loose his mind. It hurts deeply that the younger either doesn't care or hasn't caught on. Either way it broke Johnny and has for a while now. He's tired of faking it. He has for too long now.
"Hey Mark" finally gathering all his confidence. He was now in front of the younger, his heart racing and beating against his ribs he felt like any minute now it was going to fall out.
The younger stops what he was doing to look at his boyfriend, before giving him that cute smile and that cute 'yeah' in his Canadian accent. He really knew how to make Johnny's heart bust.
"Can we talk in the hall?" By now everyone had stopped to look over at them. But for Johnny that didn't matter right now.
Mark answers with his adorable 'of course' and following the older into the hall. Turning around to face him, Johnny's brain forgot everything it wanted to say. But he knew he'd have to say it eventually.
"Mark.. I feel like you are more involved in other people, you don't like skinship which I understand. But it seems like at times you literally want nothing to even do with me." He felt better once it was out in the air, but now he was worried of Mark's answer. The younger was quiet as he listened to his boyfriend. His facial features changing mood every second like he was thinking it through.
"B-but Johnny. Its not true, I love you to the end of the world. And I'm sorry you feel like I don't still love you or that I care more of otherd than you.
You mean more to me then even anything else in the world. I would give everything up if it meant you were happy. I would destroy myself before ever even considering hurting you. I promise I will show more often" and like any fight in the Nct house it ended in a hug and better.
Walking back in, Mark sat on his boyfriends lap. Letting Johnny wrap his arms around his waist and snuggling his head onto his shoulder. Johnny's lips right in view he decided to peck them, a red tint on his face before continuing his early talk with Dounghyuck over something stupid. It didn't matter to Johnny, his heart was too busy racing and "uwuing" over his boyfriend. It was moment like these Johnny has always been proud to call Mark his.

It was promotions for Simon Says, WinWin was off getting ready for his Chinese group debut, Donghyuck having a broken leg or something, and Jaehyun down sick. Everyone was home for the day. So as poor Taeyong took care of everyone sick or hurt. Mark and Johnny layed on Johnny's bed. The snow was falling outside and a nip was in the air. But under the blankets and cuddling the couple didn't care.
Johnny was the first awake to admire his boyfriend. Finally he was here when Johnny woke up he wanted to hold this moment longer. Mark's eyelashes brisked his face in his sleeping form and his face seemed a little more child-like but Johnny loved it.
And like that, Mark awoke stretching while Johnny's arms never once moved from around his waist. When Mark got done stretching he looked at his boyfriend giving the same love sick smile before laying his head on Johnny's chest.
For sure Mark could hear Johnny's heart busting an uwu.
"Goodmorning babe" the morning hoarse still in Johnny's voice. But he still got back a lighter hoarse 'good morning.' And that's where they stayed for a while, no words no nothing. In the comfort of each other while the weather went at it with its worst. They stayed curled up under the blanket.
The light in the room because of it snowing wasn't the greatest but it hadn't bothered them. Not even a little bit.
"Johnny?" Marks speaks after sometime. With a 'hm' from Johnny as always.
"The lyric stay with me seems to fit us. Because I'm glad you stayed with me". And with that Johnny's heart uwued a little bit more.
